SpaceX president just revealed on the Starship Flight 4 launch schedule shocked NASA!
"Step one is actually having that as a goal. If you don't have that as a goal, you're definitely not going to achieve it. If you have it as a goal, well, now at least you have a chance of achieving it."
This is what Elon Musk said in the recently released conversation. And this is also how SpaceX is pursuing insane goals with its giant machine.
Explosion? Loss of vehicles? Is that an obstacle? Will it pull SpaceX down?
Whatever it is, everything that just happened in the third launch of the Starship is an opportunity to achieve SpaceX's goal.
SpaceX president just revealed on the Starship Flight 4 launch schedule shocked NASA!That's why the president of SpaceX quickly revealed about the fourth flight of the Starship. This not only shocked the space community but also shocked NASA’s scientists.
Let's find out on today's episode of Alpha Tech:
SpaceX's program is in a phase of continuous development, and this is an opportune time for us to talk about the fourth Starship flight.
SpaceX president just revealed on the Starship Flight 4 launch schedule shocked NASA!
The main characters here are Ship 29 and Booster 11, how are they in preparation?
We are no strangers to SpaceX's swift work, to be honest. Just within 10 days since the third Starship launch, SpaceX has been bustling with preparations for the fourth launch. This is truly an incredible timeframe for a super heavy vehicle to launch into space. Just look at it: even a super heavy rocket like NASA's SLS took over a decade to achieve its first flight by the end of 2022, not to mention it reused some parts from retired space shuttles. The legendary Saturn V moon rocket also took an average of 6-7 months to launch a space mission.

Click Bait!! I heard no Starship Flight 4 launch schedule information at all!!
OK, second half of video is regurgitated from other videos. If there is nothing new, then end the video.
Thank the guild lines to make money on this platform
That's Alpha Tech, they can sometimes repeat the same sentence multiple times in the same video. They need a sober editor😂
Flagged for misleading thumbnail/title. What hot garbage...
Shotwell is an amazing person and president for SpaceX, I wish Elon would spend as much time as possible getting such a competent person to be the president of Tesla freeing Elon to concentrate on the creative aspects that he brings to all his companies.
I am SOOOO sick of the whole Diversity B.S. !!!
Just hire the best person for the job. Hiring a person based on ethnicity , ANY ethnicity is logically flawed thinking . GO SPACEX!!!!
I've yet to find intelligent people who are legitimately shocked about anything in the starship program since its inception.
Elon and SpaceX are simply amazing. I really wish he would take over AutoDesk.
This is nothing more than a Shotwell promo. Is she looking to pressure Elon for a raise?
Bro what is this video? This is a Gwynne Shotwell evaluation video. Title it that way.
Honestly, this particular video is possibly the best or one of the best I have seen on your channel. The collection of existing footage you pulled together here was appropriate. Calling attention to Gwynne Shotwell's contributions to SpaceX, to the goals she shares with Elon Musk, and to the future of space flight and operations in general is laudable. Thank you for this one.
Fantastic overview of SpaceX's goals and the technical hurdles they've overcome!
And did they actually answer the main point at all ?
This is freaking awesome: you never see Gwynne Shotwell mentioned ❤❤❤
I LOVE❤️ static fire tests🤗🥰
GO SPACE X
GO AUNTY SHOTWELL &
GO. GO. SPACE X. & THE SHOT CREW THAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE..
BIG THANKS TO ELON AN HIS FAMILY...
THANK YOU,THANK YOU ,THANK YOU..
WE ARE THE WORLD.!
An extraordinary person! May she continue to lead Space X.
I would love to see a Starshipped decked out with WW2 style American single star and stripes decals, like those you'd see on an old B-29 for that cutting edge "Retro" look coming in for a landing. C'mon Elon, put some decals on Flight 5!
Thank you, Appreciate your updates and channel
Thank you so much!
The hot shot crew .
first! thanks alpha tech for another great video.
although I must say that ever since you started implementing AI to make your scripts for the talk track the content has gotten increasingly woke. It talks about the importance of diversity at space x as if race and gender was main priority. the diversity they are looking to increase is not about race or gender, it is about diversity in thought process.
Thank you so much!
Why do you think I am? Actually, I don't
Something must be right about the culture of this company. Achievement says a lot about the success of the organizational psyche.
So no.s 4, 5, 6, & 7 coming up. May the 4th be with you SpaceX and Gwen Shotwell!!
He cant even say what Elon said.
So I will trust Elon.
As long as there are goals passed for each launch , even small ones , that's great . Spacex's approach to get to regular full recovery is bang on the money . No use crying over spilt milk , so long as your catching more milk this time than was caught last time is definitely the way to go :-) :-) .
So for catching the booster etc, there is no need to catch it on the original stack. Build a second stack that is much shorter and cheaper. It can be located at a safe distance from the main stack and will not cause possible disruptions.
They will, there is a plan for 2 towers at the base in Texas and 2 more at a base in Florida.
Well I guess Elon didnt consider that and way it up.
Gwenn is the best hire Elon ever made
I wish SpaceX would start launching Starships 1per month...

So a guess maybe get that 2nd launch pad built then maybe they can take that chance or they could make a pad like the Falcons land on and of course they will need landing legs like the Falcon rockets. This is only an idea only.

I think the most hilarious thing shes done is when the 5 engineers penned a letter complaining about what Elon Tweets about and that it effects their work and how they tried to get everyone to sign it.. I think an IFT4 will be sooner than later ! Cant wait ! 👍
Perhaps it will but maybe it won’t . Wise words to cover all possibilities.
Ran into the launch pad & still made it to orbital velocity. Progress not perfection!
True! I had lots of evening MBA students who worked at the Cape during the Shuttle era. They always had lots of scrubbed launches and delay, which is why so few were ever launched. SpaceX quickly surpassed the decades of Shuttle total flights in just a few years. NASA cost overruns, multi-firm component makers and suppliers of services based purely on lobbying power in Congress. Contracts went out to every state to ensure Congressional approval.
Advantage using the Henry Ford assembly line production approach. Produce everything as much as possible in your plant. Need to change something, Walk across the floor and change it.
Elon Musk hires the best people he can find to lead his companies. If Gwen Shotwell has been with him for 22 years, she is excellent at her job. Her biography is impressive. She has courage, isn't intimidated by failure and has excellent communications skills. Her teams trust her judgement and know she has their best interests in mind. Thank you Elon Musk and thank you Gwen Shotwell for breathing life back into the space program. Go SpaceX!

I was waiting for info in the title but with all the Shotwell accolades I zoned out and never found out. I'm sure she is doing great but I came here for an update, not a worship session.
I like SpaceX, but I didn't see anything shocking!
I thought Gwen was going to announce SpaceX would launch a Spacecraft flight to Proxima Centuri B!
They had better hurry up so they can launch multiple Star ship per day so they can get enough fuel to get to the moon, last count its min 16 refills to get enough propellant to get to the moon and back. Although many experts, including Nasa, put the number needed at 20+ So how many for mars??

Hey I have a question for the technician s at space x why they can't 3D print the heat shield on Star ship.
it is an internally developed ceramic compound that is made to resist plasma level heat. 3d printing is either melting wire or melting powder with laser. how do you suggest they would melt something that withstands the temperatures of plasma? that is why.
It is not entirely accurate, 3D printed houses are made and they do not melt anything, they simply add layers when the material is not set@@supersecretninjame

Elon Time vs ULA & and blue origin time.
Elon Musk tends to be optimistic about time to when a product becomes available and may be 1 or 2 years late.
ULA finaly launched in 2024, the delay is 10 lyears so far.
Jeff Bezos blue origin was founded in 2000 it has been 24 years so far no launch.
So so why is no one talking about ULA or Blue origin time and?

I will say this. If space x rebuilt their launch pad to have a trench like nasa launch pad, with the same mechazilla tower, same water system re design for the trench, and use heat blanket under all the heat tiles, upgrade to nuclear engines, make either the booster or the ship lighter. ( prolly the ship) by using something else other than stainless steel if it’s possible. Then I believe they would be ready for mars. One of the issues I see is that, the amount of fuel it takes to put that ship into orbit is crazy. I would suggest catching the booster, but landing the ship like a plane
You know best.
@lowellbrown1122 Yes, everyone can have their say, but very few that actually put the plan to work! 🥸
We do understand the world is what it is today because of people sharing ideas and learning from each other theology and experience. The man with the money and plan, plus the brains out there that actually make it work. Allot of ideas were foolishness 100 years ago until now it is use for making remarkable things no one ever think of. Social media help to build Elon musk starship.
When we observe the falcon, and other people design. The plan is to put a ship in space that is reusable, to go to the moon, other planets, carry and transfer payloads etc. Am not a engineer, mechanic, electrical, not a scientist, etc. I don’t know much about metals, welding, motors, wires, computer science etc. But one thing I know is that, I can draw. Art. 3d molding etc. A good photographic memory. I believe starship going to be successful, to the moon etc. Couple trials and errors. Once Ellon don’t go bankrupt. Which is not easy. Base on my observation, we need to find new energy source. Rocket engines that produce more thrust and use less fuel. Stronger materials, lighter weight. Am not sure if the stainless steel ship is the best for re entry. For holding pressure etc. But whatever they doing, I wish them the best. Once they are open for changes and to copy and learn from others to perfect their work. No prob.
He should also do Americans top 40s
To be sure, it's diversity of THOUGHT, not skin color/gender. (and no coming from the same university doesn't necessarily mean lack of thought diversity ... nonsense).... the next iteration to pandering is DEI... (didn't earn it)
I'm not worried, The problems are all able to be solved, and its getting progress every flight. Also they have issues with both booster and ship, meaning pretty good chance they will make progress on both at the same time. And if they just solve the issues from the last flight, they pretty much make a home run... Theres not that much left that are biggies...
Literally not far from actually operational.
I think Elon might even nail an aspirational prediction and surprize everybody...
And we are likely only a month or two from the next flight...
The only sure thing, is they will learn stuff...
And I can tell from the construction details on these ships, that the cobbling days are almost over. Everything is getting that refined look, and precise look of attention paid to details and guys doing their best at every step.
Looks to me like the fabricators are pushing the engineers pretty hard. They are making things well, faster than the engineers can iron out the bugs...
Thats a good sign... when the engineers finally get things right, production quality will already be there, after that, its jack up production rate for time units. which is basically more guys, with more tools working on the same things. Also theres robotics... Pretty good chance theres seriously large robotic tools installed in the new factory. and theres the Tesla Bots coming over the horizon... They are gonna have robots making robots, making Starships.. This could get alittle wild on acceleration of production.
We could see Starship production go exponential in the next five years or so, if enough uses are created. Its gonna have to pay, so the biggest hold up will be how many creative ways to make a profit with a Starship can we come up with, and actually build out, and not just dream on?
My advice to the Space business community, is get to work building actual things as soon as possible.
I hope they learn that this is a waste of everyone's time. They laid down so much hype and excitement, and now they can't back it up
@@jaydonbrown617
I think its not quite that bad... And that next flight likely things learned that go farther. Interestingly for me, what they had issues with were all things I have been pointing out as iffy long term.
And evidently they got some structual damage effect on the booster, as they are using doublers now between existing longitudinals in the tanks area.
I suspect oscilations causing slosh, cracking welds, at same time trying to light engines. But thats supposition without access to imformation.
So far they seem to think they can do Ringling Brothers Circus moves with huge lightly built ships, with serious masses of liquids in partially emptied tanks..
I'd suggest softer martial arts style thinking.
And not as much slamming and jamming...
More Tai Chi style re entry moves.
They learn via mistakes just like everybody else and the people who dont make mistakes, do dont anything.
I think the next flight will be a bit of a watershed followed by the beginnings of a rethink.
Then use the remaining built ships to attempt cobbled up fixes, and by V-2 a new reality...
@@garylester3976 Why do I feel like I'm talking to a wise old sage all of a sudden? 😅
Either way, this is all fine and good the "progress" they've made so far, but nothing accomplished so far indicates they are ready for anything past LEO transfers. It's also strange that they're jumping to new designs already before allowing their first design of Starship to survive their test flights. The only justification I can give to that is that the current version of Starship is inherently too short of fuel capacity, which explains why both craft seemed to run out of fuel last flight. But I've heard somewhere recently that the Raptors were not at 100% thrust for the last flight either way, and then you said they didn't even fill their tanks fully, allowing sloshing of fluid. In those cases, who knows what they're doing, probably scrambling for a fix with the $1billion they have left.
@@jaydonbrown617
I was referring to the booster, it had done its burn and likely down to landing fuel or less.
What I saw was an attempt to relight booster engines going into a 1000 mph headwind.... Not a good plan, rocket engines being difficult to light sitting still.
On the Starship, their butt first circus manouver seemed to get them in hot plasma pretty quick...
And their flappers got locked up and jammed.
Poor little Starship! Screaming into thick atmosphere....
I have suggested a different method via a flight profile change,
And heard something Elon said about it... so could get used,
If it works, will make everything easier and less dramatic... also use way less fuel.
And could reduce the need for the tiles.
As for changes, this is a good time for that... way better than a factory recall after in full production.
I'm very optimistic, have seen SpaceX adapt and adopt repeatedly.
Maybe a tich stubborn, but Elon rules there, and wants results by any means that functions well.
As for the wise Sage humor, I realized quite young that folk sayings and idioms were passed down knowledge from sometimes pre writing era.
And that they were concentrated wisdom.
And I started mentally collecting them from any source available.
Basically doing that is equal to a University degree in effects on one's life... Being not stupid pays dividends...
Mostly a student of the Tao and the Bible, have read the Koran and liked it, and looking forward to being able to buy books like that again some day.
The real virtue of such knowledge, comes with application, not just Parroting....
@@garylester3976 Well we'll just have to see. Everything they've achieved up till this point has been difficult, but not downright impossible. With Starship's current design, success becomes quite a bit more questionable. I just think is too small a ship for Elon's ambitious, as crazy as that sounds. It's design and profile are over all not suitable for moon missions, let alone all the way to Mars. LEO deliveries for sure eventually, but that's about it

Emergency!!! THE ONLY SOTUTION!
Baffles will not work to prevent the fuel slushing problem, because the tanks of the starship system are too large. That is the only reason why the starship engines have been exploding every time.
The solution:
The tanks of Starship and Superheavy need 2 disk valves, expanding the diameter of each tank. One of the disks, the one on top, rotates above the contiguous disk to close the overlaping holes on the surface of the disks; to reduce the Size of the tank by dividing it, before any rotation or acceleration of the rocket. This will prevent slushings and protect the plumbing, if located 10% above the bottom section of each tank. Large telescopic pistons can be attached below the bottom of disk valves to control the fuel pressure as the piston expands into the fuel tank.
I have built a model that works perfectly. The second disk valve can be located 10% below the front of the tank, to also protect the front of the tanks from the slushing forces.
The gridfins are too flat and too small to be effective enough and will not be able to control the booster.
Why is Elon not using four pins instead of three to secure each heat shield tyle? Four anchor points provide far more stability to secure a tyle, not three. What is more important than securing the heat shield? Four anchor points would eliminate the problems of tyles falling off the ship every time there is an engine ignition. Please get this message to Elon. Thank you.
Also, Spacex needs 3 actuators to move the payload bay doors correctly, not two. They have only two now, one at each end of the payload bay. They need one at the center position. Three will guarantee that there will always be enough support to open and close the doors, even if one of the three fails. I know the spacex engineers can see these problems. It is like ignoring the elephant in the room. Musk needs to hire people who can be trusted and who will not continue accepting bribes from Jeff Bozo to sabotage Spacex.
