This is probably one the best videos describing and showing the process. This is something I really want to do to my 02 cummins. Thanks for posting this vid man.
I understand I should have used a breaker bar instead of the torque wrench haha I was just being lazy and complacent after doing the same thing over and over again. I'm sorry for those of you who cringed over it lol won't happen again in my videos
ParoDoXz some advise to give. Take a air gun and blow the oil out of the holes in the block before installing a head stud, believe it or not you can actually crack a engine block from compressing the oil with a head bolt. its good practice.
Did your valve cover fit back on without any problems? I did mine and when I put my valve cover back on and tightened it down it’s sitting on the front two head studs now ? Front head studs as in front bumper.
For the sake of keeping your torque wrench calibrated, DO NOT use it to loosen fasteners. Most of them have a warning printed on the box. I would do 1 heat cycle, then re-torque, then drive it easy for a few days, then re-torque. And when I say re-torque, that's not putting the torque wrench on and clicking it to 125 ft/lbs. Loosen the nut to finger tight, then re-torque in one sweep to 125 ft/lbs. I know there's tons of opinions on what is right and wrong with installation and torquing, but I went down that road with my 12 Valve, and I tried to do it right. (there's no set in stone, right or wrong way) When I put studs in my 12V, I had to bottom tap the block, with the head on. lol. That was a time consuming install. Oh, and at 0:40, that term you're looking for is, "supporting modification." Haha. Great install video though!
People so surprised how easy it is to work on a cummins lol. That's one reason why they are the best. Four bolts and turbo is off boom slap the bigger one on. And injectors on a 12 valve super easy. Shit try doing anything on 6.0 and you gotta take the damn cab off
I appreciate that you are that installs the mods on your truck I understand you don't have many diesel mechanics where you are but it's nice that you do it anyways keep up the vids dude
Much easier than I would have thought. I'd re-torque if you have time. Better safe than sorry. That engine is too heavy/expensive to take the risk. Keep the videos coming!
Hey bro, Whats up? Probably don't remember me but I was here last Summer and I loved your videos (still do) hope everything's being going good because it Shure does look like it! Haven't had time to watch a lot of UA-cam lately, been busy with school n all 😋
Awesome videos man. Couple things you should've touched based on. First thing is I would've probably torqued every stud in sequence down to factory torque specs. Then once you had them all installed go in sequence again but go up in equal increments to the final torque. Starting at 100 ft/lbs then to 105 then 110 etc. Also it's recommended when you removed the rockers and reinstall them to run an overhead. Since you took the rockers off I'd recommend running an overhead once you install your injectors. Again great videos man keep them coming!
Great video, Did you have to machine the lower rocker arm cover at the No. 24 bolt hole location "in the torque sequence to facilitate installation of the lower rocker arm cover". as per the instructions? I also have a 2001 24 valve. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
ParoDoXz I have post notifications on lol I like how you're doing all the work yourself too. I'm gonna be doing this to my Duramax soon so it'll give me a little knowledge.
The bracket the mounts the dipstick to the intake horn likes to fall down against the block. It is magnetic so you can just send a magnet down and pull it up
Did you have to lash the valves or did you just remove the rocker arms and re-install them. And also did you do that with the engine at top dead center.
You don't have too but it's supposed to be a hot re torque just get it running drive it around with out dogging on it get it up to running temp take it back in and re torque them and you'll be good forever but I know a lot of guys that just torqued it once and never had a problem
why didnt you mention setting valve lash? it is called a bottoming tap that is needed for chasing threads and ensuring the threads are tapped to the bottom of the holes
As another 31B I have to ask, where do you get the time to do all this work on your truck? In my company there is no way I would have the time to do all the stuff you've done to your truck.
if you sleep 8h a day you got 112h of time to do stuff in a week, i guess you work around 50h a week? so you got 62h of free time :) Its your job to enjoy them.
ParoDoXz i have an 07 5.9l and am doing the studs just like u did but i can use the chaser but how will i take any dirt or crap from the block threads?
Matthew Hoffman not sure on a 24v but a 12v I had to grind inside of my valve covers to clear it. I also bought a set of thicker gaskets which helped with clearance as well
I notice when you are working in the valve cover you sometimes knock around the little components. Do their positions matter or can they be jostled a little bit?
Meaning like the rocker arms and other small components in the valve cover that are loose. Like can they be jostled a little like what happened in you video?
Gregory Heidel I mean you want to be easy with all that stuff. But yeah, you can jostle it around a little bit and it'll be fine man, that's some hard metals under the hood
Gregory Heidel Well yes. The parts exact position does matter? I go over that multiple times during the video, but as far as touching them and taking them off, they arnt going to break is what I'm saying. I misunderstood your question I guess
Alfred Andrade it was definitely a pain man, but if you lift up on the cab just a tad a force your tool in there it will fit, don't be afraid to use some force , can't really hurt anything down there, just be careful not to tear your firewall into your open valves haha that would suck
Got the studs in bro thanks for the advice. Bra my Brother went and drops a Allen socket down one of my push rod holes!!! Luckily we good at fishing I was able to get it with a magnet. Whee that would have sucked pulling out the crankshaft! Aloha
i meant the valve cover i just ordered the same set that you did for my 01 and it said that in the instructions thank you for replying your channel was a huge help for some of my decisions
I'm not sure if someone already said this but when you are torquing bolts once you feel it get some what close to the desired torque you slowly add more pressure until it clicks then let off and do it again just to make sure it's torqued properly.also you will need to reset your valve lashes.I belive it's .01 on the intake and .015 on the exhaust but don't quote me on that it's been a few years sence I have had to do it.also you don't want to use a torque wrench to break bolts loose.please don't think I'm bashing on you because I'm not.Just trying to give some helpful tips.and when you pull the injection lines off they will already be set up in 2 groups of 3 DO NOT TAKE THEM INDIVIDUALLY.my brother made that mistake and it makes it allot more difficult and time consuming to put them back on.
I do, just wanted to go faster so the video wasn't long, i try to make these as short as possible. And I know haha thanks though man. I appreciate you watching too!
sweet i have a 01 few that takes out headache thanks any other adivice you didn't mention in the video looks like a straight forward process. When you re install the rocker arms you don't mess with any timing just apply torque and your good?? also you have part number on this? Thanks again man solid videos and truck!!
Joshua Jackson Thanks man! And I did a valve lash about 2 weeks ago after I knew I was done with everything in the engine bay. I made a video about it. But you should be good with just applying the correct torque
Hey man. So re install on the rockers is just throwing them back on in order and torquing to 27 ft lbs? There's no timing or anything like that involved?
corey kinnamon People say check the valve lash, I hear some people do, some people don't, it's whatever you want man, I strictly did not even cover it on purpose because there are so many different opinions on it
Should you tourque to 100 for all of them then when there all tourqe to 100 go 125 for all?? It says 3 tourque producer or just go 125 one at a time? Thanks
you should retroque your head bolts four times to take the stretch out of them. you also can do it after truck is was run. but it easier to do it 4 times while you have it apart. if you don't do a retroque it will blow a head gasket
Man you make it look easy! Shit I saw a video of some other dude doing it and he had the heads out. Made it look more than what I wanted to do. Very nice! Next paycheck I think I'm going to piss off the wife(truck parts time)!
just a helpful hint, whenever I use a torque wrench I like to go slow and steady until it clicks, no jerking it or moving fast, then I kind of reset the wrench by going in reverse with the ratchet (ratcheting it, not switching it and loosening the bolt) and then check the torque again, then I would do them all over after the complete install. I only torqued about 570 head bolts last year, 38 at a time 220 ft lbs at 3 rounds for insurance lol, shit sure does get old quick.
i have a 2002 that looks like yours and whenever im on the highway and im going at 80/90 mph the force starts to die down. I have to put it back in neutral and then in 5th so that it'll regain its force. what do you think could be wrong?
Good vid but when you showed us the torquing of that number 9 stud, it clicked and ya looked to pull right past the spec and it was kind of a jerking motion. The final pull once you k ow you're almost there should be with one hand supporting the head of the ratchet and slow and even pulling pressure until the clicks. Not hating just some friendly advice to a proper tq spec :) thanks for the vid though! Planning on studding my new to me 24v in the very near future and now know just how easy it is.
Nick Barringer On the 24v you actually don't have to go all the way down to the heads though. So there's no point in replacing that during this install cause you don't have to take it off
I hope you started from the middle and worked out when you're installing them. I'm only saying this so you don't have problems with your head gasket potentially not having a correct seal because when you put in a head gasket you torque the bolts from the middle working out. Don't want you having problems man
Love your video , just one thing . Your not supposed to use your Torque wrench to ever brake your bolts loose .. Torque Wrench is to Torque only . The reason is you could throw it out of calibration ..
I bought another 01 24 valve cummins Ram 2500 turbo diesel and plan on doing a whole new rebuild dedicated to a show truck mainly, I already have 2 work trucks and daily drivers this baby will be for show gonna represent your brother & your sticker. now the boring wait starts DMV closed gotta swap the title first thing in the morning and the fun will begin I'll show a pic of the before and after both pics will have your duck it sticker in the picture
TJPDmember That doesn't make any sense, you only do one at a time, so what would be the point in that? Not trying to sound like a smart ass but I don't see your point
oh thats all right dont worry. I just always read and been tought doing it that way. Since your doing the one at a time like you said i dont think its that big of a deal but i always like to be safer. And you got a freacking nice truck, really like it. Mine will go under the same maintenance as yours, they are great truck and i want to keep it for a long time!
TJPDmember you only run in stages when there’s a new gasket in it that way it can compress properly. Or if your increasing over all torque beyond the stock spec, in that case you’d go down to the stock spec as he did then go around again 5-10lbs at a time until desired amount is reached. Drive it then hit them all again while it’s hot 👌🏼
Definitely worth re-checking the torque ratings after you let them settle a bit, Ive seen some that loosen enough to be taken off by hand. they dont say to re-torque them for nothing. Keep up the great videos =)
This is probably one the best videos describing and showing the process. This is something I really want to do to my 02 cummins. Thanks for posting this vid man.
Ethan Benson I try to be as detailed as possible, glad you like the video man!
Finally someone does an ARP install video... lookin good
Jakob Morningstar Thanks bro! Glad you liked it!
ParoDoXz where do I find that bumper?
Did you have a valve cover lick
Did your valve cover fit back on without any problems? I did mine and when I put my valve cover back on and tightened it down it’s sitting on the front two head studs now ? Front head studs as in front bumper.
I watch your videos everyday! Makes me jealous of how easy it is to work in your engine bay. Once my duramax is paid off I'm selling it for a Cummins!
Aaron Martin Thanks for watching the build man! I really appreciate that! And good idea lol
This is my next project, glad to see someone actually do a detailed installation on this. Keep up the great work man!
Fuel 'N Spool Glad you liked it man! Thanks for watching!
For the sake of keeping your torque wrench calibrated, DO NOT use it to loosen fasteners. Most of them have a warning printed on the box.

Oh, and at 0:40, that term you're looking for is, "supporting modification." Haha.
Great install video though!
Will M Thanks for all the advise man! Like you said, there a 1,000 ways to skin a cat haha
Will M D bag!
Scary seeing people use torque wrenches as breaker bars
Cummins looks so much easier to work on than a DMAX -.-'
RIchard Alvarado Very much easier
The envy is real ;)
People so surprised how easy it is to work on a cummins lol. That's one reason why they are the best. Four bolts and turbo is off boom slap the bigger one on. And injectors on a 12 valve super easy. Shit try doing anything on 6.0 and you gotta take the damn cab off
David Cazz That is true lol
plus for those that have a lift, it's only about 30 mins to get it off.
Sounds like just about any other older inline motor
Good stuff, much appreciated buddy. New to the 2nd gen Cummins world and definitely want that piece of mind by installing head studs.
I appreciate that you are that installs the mods on your truck I understand you don't have many diesel mechanics where you are but it's nice that you do it anyways keep up the vids dude
ryan cole Thanks man! I appreciate it!
You have the nicest 2001 Cummins I’ve ever seen
props for working on your own rig .
Love the truck man. Did you color match the bumpers yourself?
Chaos Descent Thank Man! And no, the sport bumpers come color matched from factory
just started watching your channel and immediately gained another subscriber love your vids and always good in depth reviews and tutorials

Nick Griffin Thanks man! I will!
Editing getting better👍🏼👍🏼 3 months till I get my 99 2gen cummins!!!!!!
2jz Films Thanks man! I appreciate you supporting the channel!
lol i just bought a 99 24v and its honestly been a terrible experience so far , so good luck!
Much easier than I would have thought. I'd re-torque if you have time. Better safe than sorry. That engine is too heavy/expensive to take the risk. Keep the videos coming!
tedtronsen I agree man, thank you!
you didn't do a valve adjustment when you did the head studs?
very informative thank you !
Hey bro, Whats up? Probably don't remember me but I was here last
Summer and I loved your videos (still do) hope everything's being going good because it Shure does look like it! Haven't had time to watch a lot of UA-cam lately, been busy with school n all 😋
Phyzix Thanks for sticking with the channel man! I appreciate that!
Awesome video, great explanation, great detail. Thanks!
SneakyZeke Thanks man! Glad to help!

Elliott Barker Thanks man! I'll look into all that! I appreciate he advise!
ParoDoXz no problem man just here to help :)
SWAT Diesel what is an overhead? I'm doing mine this weekend.
Great video, Did you have to machine the lower rocker arm cover at the No. 24 bolt hole location "in the torque sequence to facilitate installation of the lower rocker arm cover".
as per the instructions? I also have a 2001 24 valve.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
cvarese145 On a 24v you do not have too. On a common rail 5.9 you have too. Thanks for watching!
Very nice truck i like how you maintain it in good shape
Joe Ryco Thanks man!
I've been waiting for this video all week
Jose Perez Thanks for supporting the channel and watching early!
ParoDoXz I have post notifications on lol I like how you're doing all the work yourself too. I'm gonna be doing this to my Duramax soon so it'll give me a little knowledge.
Jose Perez That's what it's all about man! Thanks for following the build
Hey man did you put any anti-seize on any of the bolts? Doesn't it require it?
BigMakGaming just the lubricant they supplied man
The bracket the mounts the dipstick to the intake horn likes to fall down against the block. It is magnetic so you can just send a magnet down and pull it up
Did you chase any of the bolt holes?
Like the truck man, any trouble since installing the studs? Any probs even though installing them one at a time?
Did you have to lash the valves or did you just remove the rocker arms and re-install them. And also did you do that with the engine at top dead center.
I love the very beginning of the video that montage
Joe Briar Thanks bro! Trying to improve my videos
Is there any miling required with a rock arm I have a 2001 and I've been hearing this is now required? Confused?
You don't have too but it's supposed to be a hot re torque just get it running drive it around with out dogging on it get it up to running temp take it back in and re torque them and you'll be good forever but I know a lot of guys that just torqued it once and never had a problem
Txdieselfreak 01 That's true man, I probably will re-torque
why didnt you mention setting valve lash? it is called a bottoming tap that is needed for chasing threads and ensuring the threads are tapped to the bottom of the holes
Sorry if you already answered this question but were did you get youre headlight? Thank you
Andrei Nedeoglo The bulb or housing? I got the housing off eBay for like $150 and the LED bulbs from the HID factory
ParoDoXz the housing! thank you brotha. Just got an 02 cummins of the auction. Following you're steps on some of the modifications
Nice man! good luck on the build! These trucks are a lot of fun!
As another 31B I have to ask, where do you get the time to do all this work on your truck? In my company there is no way I would have the time to do all the stuff you've done to your truck.
Love the videos though and great looking trucks. Giving me a lot of ideas for my 02 24v.
if you sleep 8h a day you got 112h of time to do stuff in a week, i guess you work around 50h a week? so you got 62h of free time :) Its your job to enjoy them.
The last 4 days it's only been 4 hours of sleep.
I am sorry. I did not noticed you said you were in the army... I cant help you with free time but I can say thank you for all your doing for us.
No problem and thank you.
Can't wait to see the first start up on the 100horse injectors
Stephen Stills I'm excited too
Paarodoxz when do you think you will be uploading the injector install video?
Stephen Stills Saturday or Sunday
Hey man nice video i love all ur videos, did the stock head bolts had lock tight on them ? Did you had to clean any of the engine block threads ?
Thanks man! And no they didn't, and no I didn't but you may have too
ParoDoXz i have an 07 5.9l and am doing the studs just like u did but i can use the chaser but how will i take any dirt or crap from the block threads?
ELDK305 I've seen people use an air compressor to blow it out
ParoDoXz yeahh but i will have the head on, you think using a bacum will do it ?
Looking to get rid of my 2 dr lifted tahoe for an Cummins, keep the vids coming!!
Jacarvis Anderson Nice man! I will for sure!
I noticed in the instructions it mentions somthing about machineing part of the rocker cover. did u infact need to do that?
Matthew Hoffman not sure on a 24v but a 12v I had to grind inside of my valve covers to clear it. I also bought a set of thicker gaskets which helped with clearance as well
Im gonna be called crazy but what if i told you its possible to make 1500hp on stock head bolts?
Badass video bro thanks for the info
I notice when you are working in the valve cover you sometimes knock around the little components. Do their positions matter or can they be jostled a little bit?
Gregory Heidel What component were you talking about man? Sorry I'm not sure which ones your referring too
Meaning like the rocker arms and other small components in the valve cover that are loose. Like can they be jostled a little like what happened in you video?
Gregory Heidel I mean you want to be easy with all that stuff. But yeah, you can jostle it around a little bit and it'll be fine man, that's some hard metals under the hood
Ok thanks so much for ur help I just didn't know if the part's exact position mattered that kuch
Gregory Heidel Well yes. The parts exact position does matter? I go over that multiple times during the video, but as far as touching them and taking them off, they arnt going to break is what I'm saying. I misunderstood your question I guess
Paradox please help in the process right now how did you get the last two long studs on the exhaust side to fit under the cab!
Alfred Andrade it was definitely a pain man, but if you lift up on the cab just a tad a force your tool in there it will fit, don't be afraid to use some force , can't really hurt anything down there, just be careful not to tear your firewall into your open valves haha that would suck
ParoDoXz lift the cab as In jack it up or just by force with ur hand?
Guess not by hand gota jack the cab I guess left that part out in the vid man thought I could do it in a hour
Got the studs in bro thanks for the advice. Bra my Brother went and drops a Allen socket down one of my push rod holes!!! Luckily we good at fishing I was able to get it with a magnet. Whee that would have sucked pulling out the crankshaft! Aloha
How has everything held up after a year and a half and with all the mods you’ve added after this?
Great man!
did you have to machine your rocker arm cover when you re installed it?
Tyler Lunn No i didn't
Tyler Lunn I did lash my valves eventually though
i meant the valve cover i just ordered the same set that you did for my 01 and it said that in the instructions thank you for replying your channel was a huge help for some of my decisions
haha damn your videos and truck have went a long ways since when I told you you needed to get some wheels lol
Justin Wert Haha thanks man!
Justin Wert
I appreciate you watching too!
you need to get a aftermarket grille for the truck i got one and it makes the front look so much better its well worth the money.
Might look into one down the road
Looking good man. If you ever have any questions on anything give G&R diesel. In Utah a call very good diesel shop👍
Triston Pendleton Nice man! Thanks!
so is it true you HAVE to mill number 24?? for facilitation installation of the lower rocker arm cover? Says on website..???
Joshua Jackson On the 03 or newer 5.9 Cummins yes, but not on the 98.5-02
sweet i have a 01 few that takes out headache thanks any other adivice you didn't mention in the video looks like a straight forward process.
But you should be good with just applying the correct torque
don't see vid with valve lash? got link..? thanks brotha
Joshua Jackson It's called "Make Your old Cummins sound new again" I posted it last week
what kind of headlights and taillights do you have? could you maybe send a link?
Zachary Golightly Got them off eBay man
I will be doing these on my 02 when i get the cash but man am i dreading doing it because the truck has a 6" lift on it when i bought it
Tip for the future try not to use you're torque wrench as a breaker bar, it can wack it out of calibration... but great clean install by the way!
I know, I was just being lazy with not using a breaker bar. And thank you, I appreciate you watching!
Haha we've all done it once, but keep up the good work i love the truck!
Nick Ozgar I will man!
I have to ask, what is that song called? Good video by the way! Your good with the little details.
Shit its in the description. My b
donnie v thanks man! I appreciate you watching!
beautiful truck
Nick Breen Thanks man!
Hey man. So re install on the rockers is just throwing them back on in order and torquing to 27 ft lbs? There's no timing or anything like that involved?
id check the valve lash after reinstalling
corey kinnamon People say check the valve lash, I hear some people do, some people don't, it's whatever you want man, I strictly did not even cover it on purpose because there are so many different opinions on it
Should you tourque to 100 for all of them then when there all tourqe to 100 go 125 for all?? It says 3 tourque producer or just go 125 one at a time? Thanks
great vids keep it cummins
12v_morymo Thanks man! I will for sure!
you should retroque your head bolts four times to take the stretch out of them. you also can do it after truck is was run. but it easier to do it 4 times while you have it apart. if you don't do a retroque it will blow a head gasket
Big Murph I know a ton of people who never re-torqued and had no problems, but I probably will
What paint color is your truck?
Andrew Stevens PS2
Man you make it look easy! Shit I saw a video of some other dude doing it and he had the heads out. Made it look more than what I wanted to do. Very nice! Next paycheck I think I'm going to piss off the wife(truck parts time)!
John Rossow Haha glad I could help man! Thank you for watching!
love the truck and the videos
anthonio chavez Thanks man!
were those back ones hard to install? lol
Kade Karns not at all, I sit my ass on top of the engine lol just had to take the 3" extension off
Who are your tail lights made by?
Jared Rectenbaugh I'm not sure man, got them off eBay for like $180
Who's fighting in the background?
Branden Pringle Neighbor lol
hey I had a question. I noticed ARP website says that you must machine number 24 stud location. did you need to?.
Jacob Cammarota don't need to if you have a 2nd gen 24v
Austin Tschanz are you sure
just a helpful hint, whenever I use a torque wrench I like to go slow and steady until it clicks, no jerking it or moving fast, then I kind of reset the wrench by going in reverse with the ratchet (ratcheting it, not switching it and loosening the bolt) and then check the torque again, then I would do them all over after the complete install. I only torqued about 570 head bolts last year, 38 at a time 220 ft lbs at 3 rounds for insurance lol, shit sure does get old quick.
Bobby Dob i usually do, I just wanted to do that one quick for the video haha
i have a 2002 that looks like yours and whenever im on the highway and im going at 80/90 mph the force starts to die down. I have to put it back in neutral and then in 5th so that it'll regain its force. what do you think could be wrong?
Tomas Correa I have no idea man, I'm sorry
Thanks anyway
New sub! Dope channel...clean cummins 😎
Henrick Henry Thanks bro! I appreciate you subscribing!
What kind of tires and left are thoses
Lane Spring Toyo MTs and Fuel renagades
Good vid but when you showed us the torquing of that number 9 stud, it clicked and ya looked to pull right past the spec and it was kind of a jerking motion. The final pull once you k ow you're almost there should be with one hand supporting the head of the ratchet and slow and even pulling pressure until the clicks. Not hating just some friendly advice to a proper tq spec :) thanks for the vid though! Planning on studding my new to me 24v in the very near future and now know just how easy it is.
very helpful, was going to take mine to shop to do them, but seeing that they didn't look to difficult i am not going to tackle them.
Brady Barlow Yeah they are pretty easy!
well done sir
Austin Schweich Thank you!
hell yeah man shes coming along id have done headgasket tho i have a prob with breaking headbolts loos and not doing gaskets
Nick Barringer On the 24v you actually don't have to go all the way down to the heads though. So there's no point in replacing that during this install cause you don't have to take it off
Nick Barringer Because I was thinking the same thing at first
yah i understand that i drive a 97 with the 12v in it and i could do it like that but 20 years old i might as well
but ill probly redo everything arp when im ready exhaust manifold bolts turbo mount bolts and all of that
I hope you started from the middle and worked out when you're installing them. I'm only saying this so you don't have problems with your head gasket potentially not having a correct seal because when you put in a head gasket you torque the bolts from the middle working out. Don't want you having problems man
Jack Bobbi Watch the video man, I go over that multiple times
ParoDoXz I apologize man. I must have missed it. Great video by the way, very well put together
Jack Bobbi it's all good man, thank you!
Love your video , just one thing . Your not supposed to use your Torque wrench to ever brake your bolts loose .. Torque Wrench is to Torque only . The reason is you could throw it out of calibration ..
Are you sure that was 125 foot pounds? Seems more like 25?
Chris Jeter yes I'm sure, the torque wrench I was using doesn't even go to 25ftpds . It looked easy cause of the length of the bar.
ParoDoXz alright good. Didn't want you to blow up your engine after putting all the mods on it lol
Chris Jeter Haha definitely not
Excellent video sir
Logan Coffey Thanks man!
the beginning was funny lol
xsta nt Hahaha
what is a 2004 dodge cummins worth
RFG BoneCrusher Depends on a lot of things
cleveland.craigslist.org this is the truck
RFG BoneCrusher I would say that is a fairly good price on that truck, just look at it thoroughly
Ok
I bought another 01 24 valve cummins Ram 2500 turbo diesel and plan on doing a whole new rebuild dedicated to a show truck mainly, I already have 2 work trucks and daily drivers this baby will be for show gonna represent your brother & your sticker. now the boring wait starts DMV closed gotta swap the title first thing in the morning and the fun will begin I'll show a pic of the before and after both pics will have your duck it sticker in the picture
podagee4life Nice bro, good luck with he build and thank you for supporting our stickers!
I think you should install a light bar on your truck or led under glow lights
Christian Williamson Never a light bar haha I don't think they look good personally
I have a small one under my bumper
you're suppose to torque head stud in 3 stages until you hit the final torque spec.
TJPDmember Thanks man! I appreciate you supporting the channel too!
TJPDmember you only run in stages when there’s a new gasket in it that way it can compress properly. Or if your increasing over all torque beyond the stock spec, in that case you’d go down to the stock spec as he did then go around again 5-10lbs at a time until desired amount is reached. Drive it then hit them all again while it’s hot 👌🏼
love the intro
BOOSTEDxCUMMINS Thanks bro, glad you liked it!
make sure you do a once over torque on them all b4 you throw those rockers on. I know you still got them.off for the injector vid.
Yamaha Rider I did already mna
👌
Definitely worth re-checking the torque ratings after you let them settle a bit, Ive seen some that loosen enough to be taken off by hand. they dont say to re-torque them for nothing. Keep up the great videos =)
Brian Walk Haha I said I would probably in the video. I will!
another good video 👍👍
Mike thanks man!
Looking good!!
Cummins Freak01 Thanks bro!
Love the video bro!
Steady Studios Thanks bro!
