Hey Boss Man, Ur not the only one that's having those type of issues. The same thing is going on with my mother's family. The sad thing is it`s only 10 acres of property. We`re in the process of trying to have it divided. Some of us want it divided and there are others who don`t. This has been going on for the last 3 years. My uncle and I maintain the property by farming, brush hogging, and keeping it clean, whereas the others who are accusing us of trying to take over don`t do anything. All I can say is good luck my brother.

When my Gandmother passed away, she had several houses (no will) My Father and uncles fought over those houses for years. (Shit was sad man)

That trolling motor is a game changer for sure nothin like spot lock, when you cut it be careful not to cut through them wires, I cut mine to 32 inches but I have a solo skiff

I am sorry that you are going through that. In my county in Southern Illinois, they have lots of internal controls to prevent just that type of behavior.

My family has been going through land issues since I was 13. I'm 56 now and all the older generation has passed away. Now the children have taken on the parents bs. It's never-ending. I walked away years ago and purchased my own property. I also divided it up amongst my own kids in my will..

Son i feel for you having to be messed up with property dispute, especially kin folks.. get em grizz.
Bossmam you’ll find out that the more you learn about that trolling motor that it’s far greater than just spot lock. Once you learn how to set waypoints and courses you’ll see what I mean. You find a brush plié in the middle of the lake on Monday, set a waypoint, that trolling motor will take you to the exact spot from where you unload the yak Saturday. I have mine dialed in on several lakes. I have the minn kota powerdrive and it’s worth every dollar spent. Those guy’s out there still throwing anchors and leaving buoy’s don’t know what their missing. Once again sir, Congratulations on the upgrades and I’ll be waiting on the install video..

Damn Bossman, sometimes family can treat you worse than a stranger on the street!! Family and money do not mix because you will always have that one or two greedy azz family members!! It will ruin relationships that you thought you had with some close family members!!
I have the riptide ulterra and I love it. Now I have had some issues with it but I have all that worked out now. U going to love that trolling motor. It’s going to push your kayak 15 20 mph. Mines is 24volts and it pulls my 18ft boat 10mph on high. The little round thing is for a foot pedal

They can only sell their percentage of interest in the land, all others will retain theirs. All owners have to agree to sell100% of it or agree to subdivide it.

I had a hard time finding an ultrex over the summer... So I got a Garmin force. I was going to power one of my kayak with was trolling motor. I ran the wire and all, but have not finished the project. Just makes taking my kayak out slower... So I bought a little pontoon boat to use with trolling motor and keep using the kayaks the same

Always is....I'm the executor of my Father's estate and there are 4 properties, he had 2 sisters 1 brother . I have a brother that doesn't pay his share of taxes and so far I've had to pay his portion of taxes for stock dividends received . I think that if anything I might decide to be bought out rather than to deal with greed and several different personalities, opinions and attitudes. God knows and sees all he handles the wicked accordingly and peace is priceless 🙏🏽

Wow, family is a trip! Some years ago we found out by accident, i had dreams of the land for a while. well some family had filed a quick claim deed on the land my moms been on my grandma's , for over 20 yrs and the name on it, that person couldn't have signed it before they left from down here, because they had ,had a stroke and was airlifted out. That person who's name was on it, has since died . We got legal counsel and let county commissioners know also. Also had a living trust made, We have been paying taxes for decades. The same thing has happened to another cousin , when he didn't receive the tax bill on his daddys land- we had heard someone was selling the land. He went to tax commisioners and found out another family member was having mail re-routed to them- he been paying taxes on it for yrs, right around the corner from him.One man found out some one was selling his land, he didn't even know them!
