Legends say that marine went on to become a Spartan, after a thousand successful missions, he was gave the name “Mint Blitz”. True story except for the parts that aren’t true lmao
It's all about the approach angle. If you're driving towards something that is moving perpendicular to your direction of travel, it won't work, but if you are moving parallel then it gets them every time.
Not just that, they have a cooldown when staring locked on to a v target but if you spin around, they fire immediately when they reacquire a target, so weaving and doing donuts makes them much more deadly
@@aussiegamingandreviews3427 i neglected to mention this is one of the rare missions where You can carry the weapons you're holding into the next mission. Floodgate always resets to AR but you can start the storm with a fuel rod (and give it to a marine of course) if you ended tsavo highway with it equipped. I truly thought i had seen a carryover from crows nest to tsavo highway but it might have only been in coop or i remembered wrong
@@cosmictreason2242 I like that weapons carry over from mission to mission as it makes sense because they take place literally just after each other, crows nest weapons don't carry over which I guess could make sense as they could have been lost or broken in the elevator fall.
My favorite thing to do on The Storm is get a troop hog and load it up with rocket Marines. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever used the mongeese in that level at any point since I first got my copy of Halo 3.
@@aussiegamingandreviews3427 it takes more work cause the marines are eager to start driving out the door but once you get situated, get a checkpoint at the door before continuing. You should be aware you will definitely die more from marines shooting the ground in front of you because they're locked on to a scarab leg which LOS is through the object, and sometimes the legs themselves are too close when they shoot and you die from splash, BUT aside from that, it does zero the scarab faster and is suitably fun
I've been trying to get people to play like this for a long time. Only on solo legendary can you get 4 fuel rod marines at the end and it's a completely different experience. You restart from checkpoint not out of exasperation but joy for prolonging the game session
I wonder when someone else would do this for years, it can be a little hard to do at times. Though from my own testing it seems the BR is as or more effective

What he said. If your secondary is the same as the marine weapon you won't be able to switch your primary with him because you'd end up with two of one weapon. So you have to be creative. And be advised you only get the troop hog on Solo and you can only gather 4 fuel rods on legendary because enemies with them don't spawn at lower difficulties, such as the chieftain in the first chopper section

@JudyAtEather and during those missions all the other marines were amazed at his ability to turn 1 shot from a fuel rod cannon into hundreds of rounds
Jesus Christ I was about to comment that ,

Yea angling it properly can get hard on legendary cos it can sometimes cost you a few hit which could be the difference between life and death.
@@aussiegamingandreviews3427 That setup you had in the first section with fuel rods supported by beam rifles was pretty neat though.

I always give marines the power weapons for this reason. I get 4 total rockets, they get infinite
They get more use out of the weapons if you can manage to keep em alive.

Yea its hella fun gearing up your Marines with certain weapons and unleashing hell.
Halo Infinite Arcane Sentinel Beam squad has a predecessor.
Yes indeed 🤣🤣
I've noticed MCC they are much more prone to falling down at the get out and walk segment but they CAN make it still. Just need coaching.
Yea I went back to last checkpoint like 8 times cos the fuel rod Marines kept falling off lol
This looks so much better than halo infinite 😮
It is so much better than halo Infinite lol
Amazing fun, I'm going to have to try this out!
I do recommend, it is hella fun
Yes, amazing. 🤩
0:35 fanum tax
I do this all the time.
Wverytime I play the mission I say I won't but I end up doing it anyways
A Classic
Very goog
Now if only we could do this with the boys in multiplayer…. :(
It's stupid how only AI can get in the back
Now do one with rocket marines in the transport hog fighting a scarab
On the storm
Done
Hell yeah
Hell yea Indeed
Halo Infinite + 5 marines + 5 arcane sentinel beam + razorback much better!
At legendary difficulty, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING is destroyed in 1-2 seconds.
W strat L game
