The strings around the three sans' souls means Errors in control. That's why you see ink break the strings a couple seconds later. 30:50 when the sharp things stabbed the two sans' they saw all the other victims of the x-event. This shows two possibilitys. 1. The quarantine that X-Alphys did kills monsters instead of storing l 2. Fell and Swap aren't dead and somehow with the other quarantined monsters. The final thing you missed 100% was that the ending credits was a actual fight. You might wanna rewatch it as season 2 might not make the most sense. (Especially episode 2)
As for Error He end up destroying all the timelines(the papersheets he torn) just like he promised to Ink in XTRA SCENE 1 if he broke the truce Which he did the moment he stopped XGaster from erasing himself in XTALE- A New Friend
Yeah. You need to now watch X tale. I suggest watching multiple at a time as they are very short for each one. Around 1 - 6 minutes each. So plan out the 10 episodes to fit a good schedule.
The credits scenes are something that happens In summary of what happens Cross is attacked by nightmare and killer sans Dream comes In to try to save him Cross is still confused and still taking things in And mid fight he sees he has no other choice but to side with dream if he wants to survive Therefore he helps him fight killer and dream makes a portal to the omega timeline and escapes with cross There is also an Epilogue to 0.4 Feel free to watch that short vid on your own Basically what happens in that epilogue XChara is brought back to life in his adult form and is greeted by his brother XFrisk(adult form) and XGaster And yes xtale is after this I highly recommend to watch the movie version because the end credits do show some more context on what happens after xtale And then you can follow jakei's playlist of season 2 Goodlucks :'D
