[Junk Repair] Unstable sound speaker Bose companion 2 series iii repair

It's Milky.
Today, I'm going to repair a speaker that gets louder and quieter when playing music, making it difficult to hear steadily.
So, the junk speaker is a Bose Companion 2 Series 3.
It's highly praised as a desktop speaker for PCs.
The most difficult part this time was how to disassemble it without damaging the exterior.
Please take a look at the various difficulties I faced.

I've pulled a plastic knob and sprayed a bit of WD40 inside. Much better now. Companion 2 Series 2 speakers are hard to take apart

Somewhat helpful. Had a similar problem with the bass and treble controls on a Bose Lifestyle 5 subwoofer/amplifier module. The way the potentiometers are clamped together is the problem, occasionally loosening and not allowing good wiper contact with the resistive disk.
Same problem here. Do you know if the potentiometer is available as spare part? cleaned it but the problem comes back from time to time....
@@wintho86 Something similar is probably available through Digikey; but I'm resigned to just cleaning them every so often. On my Companion series II, I didn't disassemble it, actually sprayed through the port (which is located pretty much right behind the circuit board) and exercised the pot to clean the wiper contact. Just make sure it's unpowered and allow time to drain and dry the contact cleaner before repowering.

ところで、モニタが私の物と同じBENQで、BOSEのスピーカーが置いてあるという事で、妙な親近感を覚えましたｗ

ボリュームつまみのナット外して、IPAとエレクトロクリーナー混ぜたものをそこから伝わらせてグリグリ回して清掃（？）しましたよ。
4〜5回繰り返しましたけど問題解決しました。
爪の所の接着剤を剥離できる溶剤があるといいんですけどね〜

うちのも大変気に入ってたんですがこの症状が出てしまって、、
シロートに修理は中々厳しそうですね😢
ただ汚れ易いだけなんですけどね。
分解するのに根気は必要だとおもいます☺️
此れの1つ前の型のをPC外部スピーカーとして5年以上使用していますが今のところ何の問題も無く故障知らずなので当たり外れがあるんでしょうかね？
この型のこの不具合は良く耳にします。この型に使っているボリュームの品質が悪いのかもです。
型が違うと使っているボリューム部品も違う可能性があるで、持病がないボリュームなのかもですね。
うちの子が壊れたらお願いしようｗ
