You can also view all the presets in Bridge, which will have a preview of the animation.
Not 100% sure, but I think the command to open from AE was crtl + shift + o. You can also open it from the pull down menu.

holey hell this is so helpful. I've been pulling text settings from Envato AE files and honestly it's pain in the butt. This will at least get me to a decent place. The only thing just needs on top of it is setting the ease because the timing is everything or whether it looks good or looks basic. Thanks again guys
