After filming this video and well, survived, I realised because I was in front of the camera I couldn't act like I normally might've; defensive & quick to judge her reactions. Instead I was more open, and that in turn welcomed a more open response from her. I can't tell you the last time we sat for 20 minutes together and laughed like this. I've learned something from this and it feels good to share more of my life with my mom. Thank you for being part of this new beginning.
