That will not only keep you laughing as you listen but, will teach some fairly unheard-of topics. I personally aim to check out more of his video links . On a side note I'm not certain but I believe Thoughty2 is a tribute to Douglas Adams and his novel the hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy!! (Bravo if so being the case) don't quote me on it though.

I learned a few years ago that mushrooms and our own cells are so very closely related that it's nearly impossible to kill off a fungal growth in your body without killing your own cells.
Yeah I got a type of fungi in my left lung over 12 years ago its gone now but I still feel what havoc that shit did to my lung. And got a inhaler for smokers lungs. I am a chimera. My "secret" twin is a fraternal brother, which makes my condition much more rare. I also have multiple sclerosis, which is an autoimmune disease, and the docs do and have done a lot of studies on me to see how this whole thing works and how it affects not only me, but also other chimaras both now, and in the future. For that reason I'm always wanted for clinical trials. I guess I'm a bit of a human guinea pig, but if it helps other people, I'm more than glad to be one. If I can't help humanity out in any other way, at least I'm useful in this one way.

I became a chimera due to a stem-cell (or bowmarrow) transplant. This means that my blood is actually not mine, I even changed blood type (from B to 0). Has been almost 10 years and I'm doing great, don't need any immune suppression, father two kids under the age of 5.
So here's another shoutout: if you're not registered yet, please do. Donoring stem-cells means extremely low effort for safing someone's life.
So much respect to you!! I've wanted to donate for a while but as a cancer survivor they won't take it. Bless you for saving lives!!
Did you notice any changes at all? like how heart transplant pts sometimes inherit memories or even talents from the donor?
I am registered and would donate in a heartbeat no matter what it is if I am healthy enough. I fully believe in the gift of life. I am an organ donor and what ever is left goes to science until they have used every bit they can from me. In the end being cremated unless they can use my skeleton for education. Imagine that schizophrenia hearing voices is actually just hearing these unborn twins that are literally inside of us.

Think about this for a second this could actually explain why some Mother's don't bond with their children and experienced postpartum depression because little to no residual DNA remains after birth thus severing the bond completely resulting in postpartum depression.
My thoughts too.
Those are external factors causing the depression, like unhealthy relationship with partner and family, small to 0 savings of money etc...
So she's worried how are we gonna sarvive, that's why some mother's abort ,or throw away the baby after birth (expecially first timers)
They are overwhelmed...
@@hazyhaul5720 i mean yeah maybe, but I think it's more of the hormones that appear during pregnancy. Having similar DNA or not, she still had to go thru pregnancy and giving birth, so had to expierience the hormonal changes that all women would have. Ah but I did think that maybe this genetic chimerism is why some women have alucination of their baby being a demon or not being theirs, giving them a drive to abandon or kill the baby. I don't think it's common but I did heard stories, one from a psychologist that had previous knowledge of this condition and expierienced it. She said it was horrofying but controlled it by looking away
Surely the experience of socializing with the baby would bond them? I mean it's not like we can only form bonds with our close relations.
Its not that deep, ppd is often the result of existing mental illness and unhealthy childhood
Very informative and interesting !!!
Add to this the fact that the mitochondria in our cells are essentially their own living organisms that were once free floating bacteria billions of years ago. Depending on how you view that it could push that 43% number even lower.
Bingo! 👍
The caveat is that the mitochondria are wholly dependent on us and vice versa. It is not a symbiotic relationship akin to bees and flowers. It is beyond that, one can not exist without the other in any way shape or form, and vice versa.
Their independent genome is the only thing remaining of what used to be a separate organism, now simply being another part of the biology of virtually every single eukaryotic cell on earth.
@@sasukedemon888888888 True enough, but when you pose the question as how much of YOUR DNA is human. I would say the mitochondrial DNA is more a part of us and clearly not human, prokaryotic in fact, as opposed to the gut biome and skin bacteria that are essentially totally separate organisms that could be argued are not "us".
Maybe it'll even push that number down to 42%

Extremely informative
To be fair to those mice, I'd probably show signs of depression too if I was being force fed some random person's gut-bacteria no-matter WHAT their outlook on life.
Seriously. I think that is a great explanation.
This would explain mothers intuition, had my own experience with it with my mother where I was going through something at the time and she called wondering if I'm alright, saying she had a bad feeling and had to call to check
!!! That’s what I was thinking! It makes perfect sense! Had the same thing happen to me with a near death experience. My Mum, miles away, felt as though something bad happened to me, at the same time the incident occurred.

"Without this army of microscopic interlopers you literally wouldn't survive." Well... That's like saying, a ruptured Appendix if not treated in 24 hours is fatal. Well...
About a decade ago, the week before Thanksgiving, I was in retail management and having 'gut pain'. Well, the week before Turkey day (here in the states) is kind of busy, so I tried to ignore it. But then the Tuesday before, I called into work to say I was gonna visit the Doctor, and I might be a little late. The Doctor said "appendicitis" and had me drive myself over to the local hospital where I met a surgeon and we talked about my "in and out the next day" surgery, all done through "one little hole." Next thing I knew I was waking up and my ex-wife (and still good friend) was leaning over me saying "you almost died!" I said hi, what's she doing here, and what is she talking about? I learned that it sometimes happens, and did to me, that an appendix can rupture, reseal itself, and repeat the process over and over. And thus I'd done a good job of poisoning myself. So I ended up with several days in the hospital, three holes (instead of one), and the Doctor told me he'd basically had to use antibiotics to kill everything in there, good and the bad... and for 90 days I had to eat A Lot of yogurt (I hate yogurt). So yeah I got a lot of my "microscopic interlopers" wiped out, and survived a ruptured appendix for a week. I don't recommend it.
As always thank you so very much for the video.
Holy S#!+ Bro
That was interesting, thanks for sharing.
And yet guys will still avoid doctors and "tough it out" because the job is more important, and we are Braveheart
I don't know anything about appendix rupturing stuff but t the girl behind me in math class had gut pain for a week and a half and just thought it was period cramps, now that I know this crap is fatal I'm glad she went to the doc.
When I was 13 I complained of stomach ache to my parents… but they thought I was just trying to blag going to school… after day 5 I was rushed into hospital with a ruptured appendix… my parents felt so guilty.
Headache spell unlocked for blagging not attending school in future.
If we become more human every time we take a dump then I'm like 77% human, since I spend between 6-8 hours of each day stuck to the toilet

I wonder if my daughter will be affected at all by her “vanishing twin”? It would be interesting to find out. Would the vanishing twin’s DNA that’s found in the surviving twin show if the
v. twin was male or female? I’d assume it would. I’ve always wished I knew if her twin was a boy or girl. V. twin was gone by the time I had my 2nd month (maybe 3rd, I don’t remember which) check up. Nurse couldn’t find any heartbeat (really scared me). Luckily my OB had an ultrasound machine at the office, so I didn’t have to wait and go to the hospital. He found one heartbeat and then explained “vanishing twin syndrome”.

A similar dynamic exists in plants as well and about a third of what plants produce goes straight to feed that biome.
@@Notmyname1593 FYI … the LSD-like substance found in morning glories is not produced by the plant, nor limited to the seeds. The morning glory is host to an endocybe, a fungus which produces lysergic amides, which grows in the interstitial spaces between plant cells. If we’re going to have viral warfare, maybe they could just infest us with psychedelic fungi and bacteria.
