Finally, a truck camping video without a ton of editing and not looking like an overproduced Hollywood movie. This is more realistic to what my camp looks like!
It always makes me smile when someone as crazy , as crazy Quady can drive off into weather most of us wouldnt fathom going camping in and have an awesome time without a care in the world.

That meal looked delicious! Nothing better than a slow cooker meal to warm the bones! Here in Washington State, we had frigid temps and snow. Now it's warmer and rainy!
I totally enjoyed the longer video. That is what we want right? Maybe? I looked forward to the ones that just popped up during the week. Having trouble with the once a week post🥲. That dinner looked really good but probably not in the crockpot. I think you can find electric fry pans that could probably work if you just cooked it on low. And for heavens sake, get a spatula 😂. Or, a really big spoon😂. I think if you had one or the other you could have dished it out a little better. I think eating it with the chips was a great idea. Can’t wait for next week! I am very jealous. That snow is just amazing! Us Georgians don't ever get that much. If we DO get snow, it's mixed with ice, and is like 1/2 of an inch at most, usually. No snowball fights or building snowmen around here. (Dang it!) Anyway, thanks for another great video, Mike, even if it does bum me out about our lack of snow down here in the "Sunny South"! (😉😉, nudge, nudge.) Stay safe out there!
I wish I could get that snow down here in North cackilacky. Also, you should invest in some crock pot liners, makes clean up so much easier! Oh, maybe next time you make that you can try corn tortillas. They might hold up better.
You can get 10 gauge extension cords that are 30 amp RV plug to multiple 15 amp outlets. You can safely run multiple high wattage items this way. I’ve got one for my truck camper…it’s great. I’ll run my space heater, induction cooker, percolator and TV all at once. I paid for the electricity so I’m gonna use all of it lol.

Hey, if you take a mountain bike inner tube and put it between the cap and body around the window of the truck and then inflate it. It’ll make a seal around where you can keep the window open.

I was bummed out because I thought I ran out of new videos to watch and then I found this gem. Which I love because it's currently 100° here in Florida at 10:30pm. I grew up in the Midwest and miss snow. The crunch sound when walking. The accumulated snow on the trees. Gorgeous. Where was this at?

Freezer Ziplock bag and placed it in the freezer then the next day take it with you add it into the pot and it should thaw out quickly 😉...just and idea!

Put Thompson's Water Seal in a gardener's pressure sprayer, pump it up, and spray your coat. Might change the color a little. Can also spray old tents that need resealing. It's meant for waterproofing wood, like swingsets, but we use it on fabric too.

An air fryer can heat up a small space nicely if you got nothing else. Cook & heat! Flavored oatmeals are good for breakfast can add to regular oatmeal too and have a decent batch on hand. Dried milk packs are handy I do like pico de gallo as well as green taco sauce in mx meals too Taco soup! Thats good and i like to sip and slurp soups right out of a mug My dad and his siblings say all of that too like k-nife, anywho, etc
You can buy Scotch Guard as a spray. I have used it successfully on coats/boots etc. I got mine @ Target but I'm sure any big box store or farm store would carry it. Or your local dry cleaner might be able to take care of it , prob. a bit more $$ ! Tks for the vid :)
As an Italian, never heard of using a slower cooker to make lasagna, but i was always told, its taste the same even if it doesn't match the picture, you did perfect, also a very cool different lasagna recipe!!!

The Vornado heaters are the best for small places , i own two and they have lasted years ..Only need low setting like on 2 on the thermostat.. Worth every penny IMO. Sux no thermostat on that model .. Nice touch with the pepper cheese .. I don't care how it looks on the plate my mouth is watering ...Love your cooking ideas .. NOM NOM NOM .. If you're doin that recipe at home, try frying the tortillas for a little before building the layers. Not crispy but stiff. Works good for enchiladas. Should help them hold up a little better
Hi😊. To waterproof your jacket you could use ScotchGuard . It is in a can, people use it to waterproof suede. It would most likely work on your jacket too

You can use camp dry but it wont last or use wax. Otter wax has a matte finish, filson and sno seal are oily.

Old school wax or mink oil works well on leather,or regular carharrt jackets, any wax based waterproof will work on cloth style jackets..
