sir, i am here to tell you that the person falling in a pit for this joke is 100% griifin. The "gag" here is that travis doesn't care if it's technically "good", but griffin cares SO MUCH, and we get to listen to him rage about the premise.

My favorite bits are the ones where Travis holds both his brothers and the podcast hostage.
It just showcases siblingship so beautifully, y'know? Because usually Justin is vibin' due to his longer experience with being overrode by Travis but Griffin usually goes ballistic but Travis, Travis our boi. He's true chaos in these bits.

I literally LOVE the moments when I am not sure to what extent Travis is in on the joke.
The fact that he does it again and again after this, same with sad libs, is proof I think that he's absolutely in on the joke. It feels like sibling ribbing for sure and I love it.
@@glyph1869 Travis' humour is also incredibly choice and I think he makes stupid jokes like this specifically for his brothers to rib on as his part of the entertainment because he knows his humour is really bad most of the time. Personally I think it's just our middlest boi utilizing his weakness as a strength for the podcast.
And I love him for it- I love all of them for different reasons equally but I love him in this instance for doing this.

People here are saying Travis does this so his brothers get a chance to be funny by ribbing him... but no. Travis does this because it genuinely amuses Justin and *infuriates* Griffin. Remember, Trav and Grif lived together as adults, and they’re brothers, so the desire to injure each other emotionally is both strong and eternal.

Travis is brilliant! This segment had me rolling when it was released. Travis staying extremely positive during the debrief while the brothers lay into him was amazing. This is a step up from Sad Libs and and I hope it continues as an occasional segment.
Griffin's honest indignation at his brothers' bullshit is always a treat to listen to.

I for one enjoy PAAH. I did in fact yell at my screen during the most recent PAAH where neither griffin nor justin knew the origin of the name for the iconic Poké'd-mon "Pikachu"
I love how Justin and Griffin were so reluctant and then Griffin immediately got competitive when Justin played along. As a youngest sibling, I completely relate

I usually can't deal with them just ripping Trav a new one, but this segment? I don't know man-- this is the funniest thing and I can't tell whether it's the little bit of venom we get from Trav in his calm continuation of the bit-- or that he snaps back at Griffin, I just love this to death.

I honestly feel like "Play along at home" is one of the funniest segments in the show, almost entirely because of how aggressively and unapologetically unfunny it is
@@sommeone It's intentional, almost certainly. Travis is a very earnest guy, but he's not an idiot. He knows it's a terrible segment, and much like Sad Libs, the humor comes when Justin and Griffin are basically trapped for the duration of the bit. It's why both of them are some of my favorite bits; he's taking a bullet so that Jokes the Clown can make humor out of his injuries.
I love griffins audible detest for this bit yet he always gets excited and brags when he gets a question right 😂

Lord Cantalo most people say that Griffin is “taller than they expected” and a couple of sources says he’s 5’10. I don’t know if I buy that. Maybe he’s like 5’8. Anyway Travis is taller than him so maybe he’s 5’10?

Hey Travis (because I know you watch all of the third party MBMBAM animatics and read the comments below, hello), just wanted to drop by to say I love it, but I would say the goal has actually already been achieved, as I already yell "what are you talking about?!" to my phone nearly every episode. I find the native format of your podcast lends itself very well to playing along at home, so keep up the good work doing what you do every day.
I think it's really sweet that Travis wanted to include us in the podcast.
I remember I was listening to this episode on my headset and I guess a look of horror came over me and my partner said "what's wrong?" and I said "TRAVIS IS ON HIS SHIT BIG LEAGUES"

i love and appreciate play along at home in the way that only a middle sibling truly can. this animatic is pure and beautiful
I like to think that being a new dad he was tired, emotional, watching a lot of early children's entertainment and thought to himself that this might earnestly be a good idea for the show and create a little child friendly segment he could share with his, I believe, daughter.
And I for one liked it.

I just listened to this episode for the first time the other day and my absolute favorite part is hearing Travis walk himself directly in to "it can't all be peaks, there's got to be va- oh"
My favorate bits are when travis dose a thing the other brothers dont like and they just rip him. I swear he dose it on purpose but he sounds so pure its great
