Hi, we are still in school in the UK, finish next Tuesday as do I ( I’m a TA in my kids school). So hard to get kids to social distance, praying things go back to normal soon. I’ve already ordered the school uniform for September and am beginning to plan my lessons. Love this video and all your others. Stay safe x

This week the school board in my area is supposed to come up with a plan for the school year. I am so anxious to hear what the precautionary measures they will take to keep our kiddos safe. If it is not reasonable then this mama will have to homeschool. 🤦🏽♀️

Just wanted to say I really appreciated this video. As a working mom I feel like some of the stay at home moms are way more organized. (Maybe that’s just me) concerned about our back to school transition and it’s nice to have these ideas!
Being a PreK, teacher I love all these back to school prep ideas. You are so right about them being able to open containers/lunches independently. This is such a huge skill especially, for the little ones.

As of now I believe there will be school and also virtual school. I think it’s being left up to the parents. But there is a lot of guidelines that have to be followed. I know we all need to appreciate teachers so much more. I’m sure this is going to be a learning experience for everyone! Thanks Bri!
Just remember Brianna, both your kids are going to a school new to them. The transition that is currently in place is the only one they know or will have experienced. To them this is just the way it is done. They don't know that things are being done differently to other years. So stop stressing about the effect it will have on them. Who knows? You might find that they take it all in their stride. But the more you stress, the more they will too.
6th year homeschooling this year and never been more thankful for homeschooling! We are hopeful our weekly co-op will be able to be meeting in the fall though.

I normally love back to school with my kiddos. I love everything about it. The planning, the organizing everything, taking them shopping, seeing the school, meeting their new teachers, hearing how there day went....this year is just so different. I just wish things could be normal 😭😭
Don't even have kids yet but I loved watching! You are such a good mama and smart to help your kids prepare no matter what the fall looks like! I feel like kids can sense our stress so trying to be calm has to help make them feel loved and safe 💕
My little one starts this year and this transition is major for this momma. We are not alone. ❤️✊🏻
Same here, I am so excited for her as the school is brand new too but with the pandemic I dont think I can send her, I am fortunate tho cause she is 3 and a half so I still have time and we are currently homeschooling very well, all parents are in my prayers for this year🙌🏾
My daughter is only one, she turns two this September. I know she has awhile before school happens. But these videos, I always love watching. Especially coming from you. Because you are one who just knows how to create a schedule, stick to it, & are very organized. I’m sure a lot of that comes from you being a teacher once. I just look up to you so much for your organization skills. I love the schedules you put in place for your little ones & how you care so much about Landon & Presley enjoying school. You always make it fun for them. I love that about you girl. These are the videos I know I will refer back to once mine is in school. I love to be organized but I know you will be able to help me so much. With feeling less stressed, organized. I tend to think about all sorts of things & get scatter brained then my notes can get overwhelming! so I will totally be taking your advice & using the printables you create. I remember when I was little I absolutely LOVED school. I love school supply shopping. I loved all the bright colorful sparkle folders & things. It makes it exciting! Having my mom pack my lunch, etc. I just enjoyed that. Thanks so much for these kind of videos!!! Please keep them coming. I have never been so glad that my girls do cyber school. My anxiety would be off the charts if they had to go in person right now. We have not be off of our property since Feb. (Husband is at high risk due to having a transplanted organ) Thoughts and prayers to all the families prepping to send the little ones back.
I don't even have kids, but I have a bunch of god children and nieces and nephews. I always love helping and this video was extremely helpful. Thanks for always being you and moming!!

Yep! That's what everyone's doing here. The schools are prepared for it, the teachers are training for it now! They'll be able to learn and watch the teacher in the classroom via zoom. My daughter was supd to start preschool, she will be 5 in December. Looks like I'm gonna get all the requirements done with the help of my sister in law who homeschools her kids regularly, and do the same with mine until it's safer.
Decided not to rush all my 3 back. We will be homeschooling. Our goal is to make it a really fun year with no anxiety:)

School in Washington state is still a little up in the air..we also dont start til beginning of September! As of now, we are going back, maybe a shorter day for the kids? Obviously wearing masks and social distancing..they are also doing temperature checks on all students and staff! Should be an interesting school year..I wish everyone the best ❤ Thanks Bri!
My son will be starting kindergarten too this year, but we'll be doing virtual school. There were some really great tips though that I'll definitely be using!

I don't have and school kids ages all my children are married and have kids of there own but as a grandmother who adorable her grandchildren pick up so many ideas for my grandchildren. Thank you for showing this video..
Our schools here in Texas you can order them online through the schools and a package is sent to your kids classroom with all their school supplies! It’s so easy!

LOVE all these tips! We are most likely doing virtual school but I still want to make it special for my kids (preschool, kindergarten, and 2nd grade)
Such a great video with lots of great points to take away, even though my son just turned 18 and is in uni, I still think the 'goal setting' and making sure you have time to prepare is a marvellous idea.
I hate that my 2nd grader will not be able to experience getting a planner or switching classes...but we are going to do online..im at home so she will have full support and I'm getting and doing everything I can to make apart of our home feel like school..i just pray for everyone to do what thy feel best and to stay safe..

Thank you so much for making this video. My daughter’s school has not made a decision yet but they are thinking of in school 2 days per week and virtual 3 days. It is very stressful. I am working full time from home and have been since March. Back to school can be overwhelming and this was perfect.

Aw what a good video. My son is grown up with his own boys at school but watching Landon and Presley going out the door to school took me back to my son's first day at school. In California we are not going back. My district was considering doing a hybrid model(online/on campus), but I think that's getting scrapped. A lot of people are not complying, so I think that's making our numbers go up.

As a teacher I’m SO DANG SCARED. I know we can’t abide by the CDC guidelines although I’ll miss my kids I need to protect my family too. 😩 especially since my district isn’t giving expecting mamas any accommodations. By the way, after a year of trying I’m expecting! I know I’ve asked for prayers from this community before 💕 Now I’m asking for prayers for the safety of this babe in my classroom 😊

Prayers are with you! I am a prek teacher, I am also expecting and due in October and I have a little one going to pre school this year. I would love to stay home with him and keep us all safe but for income reasons it isn’t an option, I have to work. My anxiety has been so bad lately.

I’m actually opting for virtual learning for the fall semester. My little one always, and it never fails, always gets sick within that first to third week of school. So not taking any chances. I love this! All the ideas are so helpful. My kids are grown now but I remember buying a carton of milk to be sure they could open it (old school 😁) we now have twist top bottles. This brought back such sweet memories. Praying for a smooth start and healthy happy school year for everyone 😘

Great video. Our rising 6th grader will be doing the virtual academy and our rising 1st grader we are honestly unsure about. We have to have an answer to our district tomorrow. It's harder I feel with smaller children I think especially if you work full time like we do.

As a teacher of littles K and 1, I highly recommend that you go over how to zip jackets and tie shoes. Also reinforce proper manners and organizational skills. Teachers appreciate these things! ❤️

Yes big tip especially now make sure your child can open their own containers and snacks because of covid it reduces the amount of times the teacher goes back and forth opening things that they touch and eat. 😊

Such great tips, Brianna! I especially like the one about making sure the containers are easy to open for little ones. I used to work at a school and can't tell you how many containers I had to help open at lunchtime.

It’s a difficult decision especially for parents who work outside of the home. I think schools are going to do a great job and take extra precautions. My daughter’s preschool has been amazing and very transparent about everything
Hi Bri! My kids will do a combo of in person and virtual learning here in Hawaii. I order “Oliver’s Labels” online to label pencils, and other school supplies. Super cute and sturdy. Such a life saver when trying to label supplies for both kiddos!
