Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to have children so I can’t relate to the pregnancy/children stuff in your videos, but I still love to watch. I’m a 7th grade teacher so my students are my kids. ❤️ You have such a beautiful family. I really enjoy your videos. And I love the recipes!

I am in the same boat! Can not have children, which is devastating, all I have ever wanted was to be a mom. I have learned to cope though and be thankful for the things I do have. I teach head start, and feel blessed daily to be help children who truly need it! Hugs and prayers!
Same with my sister. She couldn't have kids but she teaches 2nd and 3rd grades and sees them as her kids. She says she doesn't want to retire bc being around the kiddos all day keeps her young. Any suggestions and I'll pass them along to her ❤💚💜💙💛

I couldn’t be more happy, thank you for uploading today. I really needed this this morning. Yesterday I was in a horrible wreck on the highway and I’ve been trying to calm down and not move around so much because of my neck. Before i left my house yesterday I watched your last uploaded video. You give me such peace and help me stay calm and thank God for letting me live another day to be with my family.
Lol my kids stopped sleeping during nap time at age 2. We still made them play down for quiet time and listen to classical music for at least 45 min to an hour. This also helped because that is what they did in daycare as well. They didnt have to sleep, but they did have to lay quietly for a while when the music was on
Please Vent! It is sometimes just what us mother's need to figure out how to handle the struggles.
I'm a kid in my family and I help manage the finances and budget with my parents. They're honest with our finances with me and my sister so we understand what our options are if we want to buy something.
My three kids stopped napping at 2.5 years. They didn’t really need it after then, particularly as bedtime was 7pm. Worked really well. They got 12/13 straight hours sleep every night which meant we had evenings to be grownups!
Thanks for sharing, Bri. I think a big blessing that’s come out of this thing is people finally understanding the importance of what stay-at-home moms do every day. It’s not laying around - it’s constant, actual work, and it’s work that at the end of the day leaves your family feeling loved and cared for. My husband has always been supportive of me being home with the kids (and homeschooling), but more than ever now he’s SO complimentary and thankful for what I do because he gets to experience it too, working from home. 😊

When my now husband and I first moved in together, he had one request - I take care of all the bills. He didn't mind paying them or paying half, but the actual act of paying them has completely eluded him 😂😂

My husband and I have all of our finances combined, so we discuss the bills one night a month while he is on his laptop and we talk through the budget and he is the one who logs in and pays the bills although it’s our combined money. We also always run bigger purchases by one another before making them. Smaller purchases we just go ahead with! I’m 18 weeks pregnant right now and I LOVED carbs and Spindrift when I was in my first trimester!
It’s 10am and I’m in my 4th Zoom meeting and already two of my three children have after school detention. Mommy life during quarantine sucks!

oh bri, I feel you on the "no nap" rant. and girl, vent if you need to! we are here for you!! my son used to have 1 day of daycare and I'd work for 10 hrs straight, now without that its SO HARD. that one, uninterrupted day way so needed every week. we are all adjusting to this new normal

Brie don't feel bad about venting. I like how real you are. Since quarantine my toddler doesn't nap either. It's tough. Thanks for sharing! I was wondering if I was the only one going through this but I've heard it from a few moms now. Hang in there.
My husband and I split what bills are paid. Although the payments come from the same account, I pay all manual payments and he manages the automatic payments. This has allowed us to pay close attention to what we have left over each month to put into savings or pay more towards debt. It helps SO much! We have cut down on the amount of interest we pay each month and makes it less overwhelming by splitting it up.
Girl I'm so happy you included your little rant about the no napping cause SAME both my kids are fighting naps so hard right now and its SUPER stressful when you count on that to clean, excersize and finally eat some sort of lunch(swear they keep me so busy that I usually don't even get to eat until they go down around 1... so when I havent even gotten to fulfill a basic need like eating... I get very upset)

Hi I'm new to the community but I have been watching your UA-cam channel since quarantine started for us in Belize (April 1st). Love your vibes! You've been a total motivation for me to keep my house clean and organized. 1 room Left to undergo a huge clean out. I have an ear infection so somedays i am moving cleaning others I can't even work from home all i can do is lay down in a recliner. Im a Catholic so I am trying to pray my rosary as much as possible. Im a homemaker, no children yet though I want at least one. I guess that's me 😊

I just found your channel around the end of February and you seem really down to earth sweet and real. I like your videos they inspire me to do the best I can. I found out a few days after you that I’m expecting my 4th child 👶🏻 and I’m excited and actually found comfort that you and I are kinda in the same boat with All of this craziness homemakers with children stay at home birthdays and of course in our faith in Jesus 💕 keep up the good work! I so agree about the importance of homemaking, it is a LOT of work, but so worth it. I have a magnet on my fridge that says: "Nobody notices what I do, until I don't do it". So true!😂

Sweet mama! You're not whining, you're a mom of littles! I totally remember naptime refusals. 😣 Make it a mandatory quiet time. Nobody has to nap but kiddos must play quietly in their rooms with books or puzzles until mom comes to get them. (With technology and screen time being so prevalent, it's really important to have that downtime for them to get bored, which in turn allows their brains to learn how to be creative.) Hang in there mama, hard jobs are the most rewarding! 😍

Girl totally feel you on the overwhelm and frustration on trying to get work done with the kids at home, we feel like we’re drowning and we only had very part time care for my son before it is crazy what a difference it makes to have a few blocks of designated work time
You got me motivated to get moving but I didn't clean the house. I took my dog for a walk in the woods, picked up a very large grocery order, and made bread. Oh, I also picked up a couple of colorful flower baskets from the hardware store. Now I'm back in my chair watching you work. :)

I'd like to request a prayer for my fiance and I. He is overseas in the airforce. Because of covid19, his next assignment was supposed to be released in march but got pushed back. Now, he knows it is coming soon and I would appreciate a prayer to keep him close to home in the states.

With Presley and her naps....have her help out with a chore like putting the laundry in the washer for you, then say it’s nap time. No nap= work. OR Even if your tired Bri, get those snuggles in all you can....I loved taking naps when my kids were younger especially when a new baby was on the way. Kids grow too fast !! 😀

I do the bills in our household and then have my husband look at a spreadsheet so he knows how much we are spending. I'm pretty sure he hates it but I look at it all the time so I make him do it at least once a month.

We did not find out what we were having with our first. It was absolutely magical when she was born because we did not know. Even the nurses and doctors were so excited to find out because hardly anyone waits anymore!!

My husband takes care our finances and bills. It's so much better for me because it's one less thing that I have to worry about. Especially with 3 kids under 5. He's so good at it, though. Our credit scores are sky high thanks to him. Works out for us. I get criticized a lot and told that a woman shouldn't have a man controlling the money, but it's not like that at all. i can spend as I please, I have access to everything if I ever needed to check for myself. Every marriage is different, and I thank God for mine :)
For what it’s worth, I actually like to hear you complain sometimes. It makes you seem more real and relatable. Like you said, we’re all going through it, so to pretend that everything is happy-go-lucky all the time would be inauthentic. It’s ok to not be ok! 💜💜💜

Your not alone, my 3 year old rarely take naps. And then I have my 8 year old son doing his school work everyday , and I also watch 3 other kids during the week with their school work.

I actually do all of our finances and I use my Ashley Shelley planner and budget notebook in combination with Jordan Page’s budgeting system with specific bank accounts for things. We have six accounts, one for all of our family bills, we each have a personal account for our own fun purchases, and then three different savings accounts. I have used this method for two years and it helped us buy our first home this past Dec and cash flow several projects on the house this year. Funny enough my husbands mom also does all their finances.

I handle the finances! My partner and I agreed on a realistic budget, but I'm the one that has a great grasp on saving, investing and such. So I do the small tasks but he is in on the big picture if that makes sense! LOVE the homemaking video. Would love to see more :)

I love watching your videos and your family! You definitely have the pregnancy glow! Could you please keep me and My dad in your prayers. For my dad has just not doing well at all. He had stomach cancer, had that removed then had some rupture and had to have a coloscopy and he now lives with an ostomy bag and his health has deteriated and I am taking care of him. And for me they found 3 cysts inside my liver. They where hoping that they where simple cysts cause they are benign but they are not so I have to have more tests ran and I'm really scared. I am only 46 and I want to watch my kids get married and have grandkids. So like I said could you please keep us in your prayers.

I love that lash primer!! I have been using that product 6 years and I only wear water proof. It really helps my eye lashes to grow and not break off with the waterproof. So I think you will love it!

Hi Brianna, thanks for posting even when you're not feeling well. I am pregnant with my 5th & 6th child (twins). This time around the nausea has been horrendous, I just want to share something I found on Amazon a couple of months ago that has been helping so so much!! It's called fizzelixer by sparkling mama I get the raspberry mint flavor it's very light and helps so much. Give it a try if the nausea gets to be too much :) total life saver wish I knew about it sooner.
My son fought naps so hard at that age I quit trying. He is 5 now and hasn't napped since he was pry 1.5, maybe 2. Every kid is different and it's less stressful for you when you quit trying to lay them down for a nap when they fight it so hard.
I managed all financial matters of the house, all the kid related stuff, most of the housework. I feel like I do everything. I am a stay at home mom but I feel resentful towards my husband because I feel like all life stress is on me and all he has to do is go to work and not worry about anything. Should I not feel this way? Maybe I should try to change my attitude but its hard. Even home repairs fall on me. Right now our kitchen floor needs to be replaced and all my husband did was put a a piece of wood down and it stresses me out. Plus, the water in the shower isn't working right and he has done nothing. It's been broken for months.

I pay all the bills in our household because I let the husband do it one time, and a bill came back because the address was upside down in the window. So that was his first and last attempt. If something ever happens to me he’s going to have to move back on with his mom. Lol
