I visited Sri Lanka last year in November and December and your videos really helped me plan my trip! I landed in Colombo with no plan but your channel provided me with some great tips for places to go. Thank you! My trip lasted for about 45 days and it was so beautiful.
I watch your channel and i never wrote a comment. I think you are doing an outstanding job by promoting your country and how resilient your nation is. I commend you to see how passionate you are about your country. Keep up the good work and one day i might visit your country to explore your culture, the food and the kindness of your peole. ❤❤❤
You are doing an amazing thing akka. Thank you for giving your homeland a chance, and for being proud of its resources, culture and history. Its sad to see so many young people, especially here in the west, turning out to hate where they come from because the Sri Lankan community abroad doesn't do a great job at cultural exposure for the young generation. Thank you for also going out there, and listening to all the stories of our people and showing off our beautiful and diverse island, and the great potential its people and natural resources to offer. I like that you are always down to learn more than you already know, and are willing to share it with the world. Keep the Lankan content coming! You are doing your ancestors proud.
This is a good one. The speaker uses the term "humble" to describe coconut (e.g. "this humble tree"). It's not the tree that is "humble" but the people who makes a living out of coconut, in so many ways. 😊
Thank you for doing this type of series! National level Televisions have failed to capture these and many more - only useless talent shows and teledramas. Good job!
As an Interracial and Intercaste person and man who is part English,Sri Lankan and Indian race wise and Sinhalese,Telugu,Malayali and Tamilian through my ancestries,I did know about the oldest coconut factory to be formed in our Sri Lanka and the strong agricultural sector is where the country economy is heading to after that disastrous economical and political setback, good friends!!!Hats off to the respective staffs and board of directors for rescuing the nation's agricultural industry through the coconut productions and I am fully hoping to see this see this industry to be saving the environment and respective people's lifestyles to be going back to normal, good friends!!!:-D

@@Sheneller You are extremely so right ever in this world and despite I am living in Malaysia while slowly learning the Sinhala language,my thoughts are mainly on our Sri Lanka nation and the respective people, good friend!!!🧚♀️
Congratulations Suresh. You have done what Denish multinational company Serendib Coconut or Coconut Research Institute couldn’t achieve. Good luck for you.
Love your videos as always❤ just a small thing I noticed.. Sri Lankan parents say that coconut water is as healthy as king coconut water. It is collected to a cup, so it was never gone to waste in our household😂 they make sure we drink it every morning😅
Awesome video! ❤ Very informative. It’s important that Sri Lankans learn about all these industries and get inspired to do something similar themselves.
Not only the industry, but the coconut grown in Sri Lanka is so unique in nutritional value as well. This is a kind of gifted crop to Sri Lanka. you correctly forecasted the industry value of 2 billion.
Thanks sister for this fabulous video. Silver mill is a one of a wonderful places in sri Lanka. I recommend their coconut oil. It's so good and gives safety for your meal. Thanks again for this interesting video.
Good to see you again, talking about the coconut industry. Your introduction is not complete unless you introduce the trapeze artist of the coconut toddy industry, walking on the rope tied to several trees, using only experience & balance . He is indeed an athlete, watching him moving from a great height, taking potential risks , like tripping from the rope due to strong winds, not forgetting the strings from wasps who comes to drink toddy and bad weather to name a few.
What a very interesting and fascinating video! Thank you so much for educating us, Shanella! Loved that idea of growing so many other plants / produce in between the coconut trees. Very impressed with what SILVERMILL is doing and now I am happier than ever that this is the brand of coconut oil that I have been using for quite a while now! 😍
Fantastic presentation thank you again ! May Silvermill grow more and more! Also I think all the tourism stake holders should encourage the tourists to visit this location it will be a success definitely
Sheneller thank you so much for bringing an insightful and beautiful journey of coconut 🥥 🌴❤️ We thoroughly enjoy all your videos/documentary/ films. Keep at it, keep going girl ❤️⭐️💕🇱🇰
I loved this .its amazing .coconut is so useful and can be used in many ways .most importantly nothing can replace the taste of coconut and coconut milk .Hats off to you for bringing this informative documentary on this highly potential tree
Really interesting. I remember scraping the coconut for my mum in the UK. Her coconut scraper was a bit different. You had to rotate a handle to scrape the coconut and as you say my mother was very particular about getting every last bit😉
U r doing a great service 👍 to the nation. To my knowledge first vloger to transform from a travel vloger to documentary creator. Great job. Hope u will get a world wide audience. Good 👍 luck.

I found your video by chance , and it is indeed , undoubtedly a vivacious , fabulous one which was so compelling that it caused me to repeat it for few times in a row.i have a sweet memory of coconut trees. It is that in my childhood ,i my father made a shed in our garden and thatched it using weaved coconut branches. To tell the truth, we as kids craved to stay inside it , while it was raining. Thank you so much. May your shadow never grow less.
I am here for learning English by listening your videos ...thank you akka.❤❤❤❤❤.. Akka I have a little suggestion ...could you please do a video for students who like to learn English ❤
Outstanding documentary! We have a hard time getting hold of Sri Lankan products in Canada. There is a demand for coconuts and coconut based products in Canada. Based on the products in the market here, it appears this is fulfilled by other East and South Asian countries. Sri Lankan farmers and villagers in the frontline need the technological and logistics support to so they can reach markets like Canada. There are already few avenues that includes few Sri Lankan-Canadians who are working hard to build these networks. But compared to other Asian countries, I think Sri Lanka still have a long way to go in terms of reaching global markets for many of the products the country has to offer.
Thank you Sheneller for the rich content you always choose to bring. It is extremely hard to find content like this that promotes the Sri Lankan economy in such detail and depth. So proud! As always, love your brilliant story telling and appreciate your efforts! Keep up the good work xx ❤
it's great to make this kind of videos to viewers. coconut is one of major crop in Sri Lanka apart with rice. coconut embedded to life of Sri Lankans.. every part of coconut tree are used by citizen and from birth to died coconut is utilized by Sri Lankans. all the best!
