Thank you again and thank you dr Ranil Senanayake
Thanks for exploring srilanka tourism we need people like you ❤
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽 and thanks for the support ♥️
definitely am also trying my best to explore something different ❤
Good luck with your efforts to regenerate the forests of Sri Lanka ! I wish for Sri Lanka to be rich in nature, where diverse creatures coexist with forests. From Japan
This video truly highlights the immense love and dedication of numerous people in Sri Lanka towards their beloved nation. They selflessly contribute to make it a better place, not seeking fame but simply paying tribute to their homeland. It is unfortunate that the Sri Lankan media rarely covers these individuals, instead focusing on distasteful political dramas. However, if we unite and prioritize what truly matters, there is great potential to create a high-quality life for everyone and build a better nation. ❤
100%
It is so nice to listen to an educated, qualified gentleman speaking in good English on a very important subject. Maybe, it will fall on deaf ears to the majority of ppl in SL who r lazy n want everything given to them, without lifting a finger n working hard !
Sri Lanka has the best forests in the world. Keep preserving those forests. They are a great heritage of Sri Lanka's nature reserves.
Yes, you are right
I must express my utmost admiration for the captivating video you've shared, which beautifully showcases the awe-inspiring wonders of nature. The majestic trees, the serene tranquillity emanating from every frame, and the diversity permeating the visual experience are all truly remarkable. Your ability to capture and convey such breathtaking moments is truly commendable. Please continue to share these mesmerizing videos that celebrate the magnificence of our natural world
Good job Sheneller👍. I understand the Dr. Ranil Senanayake's feeling. He knows that the government does not contribute properly to forest conservation. Sri Lanka has a lot of resources, if the government uses the resources properly, they will not be dependent on other countries. From Denmark🌲🌲🌳🌳
Thank you!
It's people that make the difference, you cannot expect government to do everything. Their role is to keep order for a society to function, but they cannot solve any problem out there. At the end it's about the people how proactive they want to take things.
It’s so sad to see the cloud forests, dry shrubland forests and rainforests being cleared for agriculture and infrastructure because we have so many species found no where else. There needs to be more emphasis on the importance, and community education/outreach, also solutions to sustainably solve issues like elephant/monkey conflicts, because moving them and killing them is not the only solution
100% agree!
I think mountaineous terrain is naturally bad for crops anyway.
A great effort in conservation of bio diverdity
Great job for educating sri lankans as well as the world giving examples how to do conservation and management of natural environment...wish you all the best for UA-cam career....!
Yes we are the people who can change the country not the government ,if we can work as one to rebuild thiscountry, regenerate it what a great place it would be! Please open your eyes ,come overfrom selfishness ,think as a whole, lets make it a beautiful place to live on earth 🙏🙏🙏

Its amazing to see what you are doing. X
Thank you for the video . Very interesting subject . Salute to Doctor Ranil , wish you all the best . Hope to see you once I am back home!
I have never heard or seen such a person. As I feel, he is an excellent person. People like this are very valuable to our country. National People's Force should definitely get his services under a government. Because other people do not understand his experience, intelligence and dedication.
Thank you for this amazing interview.
Our pleasure! do check out the full unfiltered interview with Dr Senanayake for some even more amazing insights.
Very inspiring program, specifically who loves the nature and do whatever possible to protect the environment.
Thanks for sharing with us 🎉🎉🎉
My pleasure 😊
yes. yes. and yes. the best way to live. a gem of a piece and a germ of a staggering idea. i'm infected and about to infect others. i've seen a couple of revivals like this elsewhere, but right here in sl? i'm gobsmacked! and in your own words, so incredibly insightful... and so instructive. i had a massive learning curve and paradigm shift. always loved trees. but this. is. the. perfect. life. much love and respect to Dr RS and you guys.
Love the nature 💕💕💕💕 🌲🌴🌲🌴
Thank sis .....🌹🌹
👌👌👌👌👌👍
Well planned interview ... ! Really inspiring..!
An encouraging story for the enthusiastic who love mother nature.... !
Also glad and proud to know of a genuine " Bhumi Putra " who left his fabulous life in a concrete jungle to create an analog forest in a barren land, a novel concept in our time. Caring for nature is caring for our next generations to come..!
Many thanks for presenting us with an excellent inspiring documentary..!
Such an amazing vlog ❤
Thank you!! glad you liked it!
Great job
Thank you so much for sharing!
It resonates with me and my permaculture course I've studied. I can't wait to buy land and play with it.
Also a hindu philosophy is very close to my heart. I'm going to visit Sri Lanka I hope this November again. I might visit some farmers there.
Good informative video
Very nice program good job good luck 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Lovely.....Keep it up Sheneller. You are simply an asset to your country and our children. So do the doctor. Meanwhile, try to dig around for renewable energy sources if you could. Please don't get trapped to business organizations who tries to sell their solar units and other products. I beleive you could pull some strings in this area as well for sure. Once again..... good luck🌹🌺🦋🐞🌲
I love this . Oure countrie is so amazing beautiy . Understanding keep oure beautiy 🙏

I enjoy watching your videos immensely and learning at the same time. Also your videos are getting better and better. What a great topic you are presenting, can hardly wait for the next 2 series of this episode. Your videos are definitely more then showcasing Sri Lanka to the world. You should be so proud what you and your partner have accomplished in such a short time. Keep up your good work. Fantastic!
Thank you very much! really appreciate your kind words. and definitely looking forward to doing more impactful work such as this through our platforms.
@Sheneller wow I didn't expect a reply because you are so busy and it's not possible to respond to so many fans you two have. Much appreciated, very personalised touch. You are amazing 👏
Good job❤❤❤
Thanks a lot!
Wow amazing. Such a pity there are only a handful of people who are true nature lovers. We have so much, but so few who really care to nurture our land
respect u sir.
I love your work .
This is the only viable possibility to restore our heritage. Our Owen people are taken away from forests.
Nice🎉
Love it. Could u share the link to the full interview?
Thanks a lot. the full interview can be watched here.

I think that if you kindle interest in people to analog forestry, where would politicians find land to sell and use for political interest. Soon Srilanka will be a destination for, gambling, and licensed prostitution. Instead of the forest, we will see concrete forests like in Hong Kong. Half the dry zone forest has been subject to vandalism resulting in the near destruction of vegetation & wildlife, Dr. Senanake, I have gone deep into the dry zone forest. Annually the acres of new forest land is cleared for Cannabis Cultivation. Needless to say, politicians had a say & a cut, and in fact certain politician was named "Ganja Hutan" for the double life he led.I think there is a lady minister now interested in the subject. Much of her time is used to discuss the advantages of the cultivation of the plant rather than visiting to see what you are doing. You have left your mark and people will be grateful for your contribution and sustaining biodiversity in a changing climate. to the ecological system. Sheneller thank you for your contributions. Last but not least, wake up people before it is too late.
🙌🙌
It's been 5 years I'm researching and willing to move to Sri Lanka and live permanently and to do something similar, restore a land and live a happy existence in contact with nature. I am trying to find a way to get a residence permit, which is hard unless you bring in a lot of capital or you marry a local :)
I believe the advent of the internet is the gamechanger for rural areas, especially with the push for work-from-home and new infrastructures supporting a global internet economy(like blockchain), all these are the main drivers motivating people to leave cities and go back to the land.
So hyperglobalization(21st century) is the true friend of rural areas, not its enemy (20th century oil age).

why didn't understand gaveament it is interesting video thanks for you
Dr. Ranil Senanayake is so inspirational, his life is one of passionate dedication. Even simply watching this , it pulls you inward and slows you down. Much appreciation to him and you Sheneller. And a shoutout to the furry fellows too 🥰
Atta Deepa Bhava 😇👍🙏
There are very few virgin forest left out in Sri Lanka, and those forests should not be touched for farming in order to bring in dollars, but we have to make dollars only by industrializing the country.
💚💚💚
❤❤❤❤
If there were to be a replication of paradise by the hand of man, this would probably showcase the closest example at disposal on planet Earth.
very good english ..
No one understands our country thank you for this video
According to Dr. Rohan Pethiyagoda, montane forests in the highlands of SL are almost impossible to regenerate - it will take centuries. How did Dr. Senanayake do it? I’m confused.
Didn't Rohan already do it with his former property near Hantana area. Actually Dr ranil also talks about how he did it. I doubt it will be like hortain plains but it comes close....
How can I contact you please? I have been following your vlogs and have already contacted Ulpotha after seeing your video. I am also trying to setup food forest gardens.
😍😍😍😍😍😍
👍
🥰🥰
U r doing a great work sis😂
Can anybody comment me the exact sinhalese definition of analog forestry.....
Everybody love nature without cement trees

Happy world Emoji day (17-7-2023)
Sri Lanka must 1. Control increase of human population. 2. Do not discriminate or fight with the Tamils. They are also outsiders who settled in Sri Lanka like the Sinhales... Tamils came from Tamil Nadu 8n India and Sinhakese came from orissa and westbengsl in India. Both are settlers. So why fight each other. 3. Throw away that rajapaksha clan the members of that family cheated Sri Lankans pretending to be budhist and drive away and killed the smarter prosperous Tamils. Clear all above problems and Sri Lanka will become pearl of Indian 9cean. But sadly rajapakshaas have sold part of Sri Lanka to the Chinese and now you can't get them out of your neck. They have come to stay like the Tamils and Sinhalese.... Sri Lanka has now 3 groups... 1.Sinhalese .2.Tamils 3.Chinese. .gone gone are those glorious days of Sri Lanka.
