- After spending a few weeks making the huge new slopestyle dirt jumps for my compound, it was time to park that line for an episode to work on the airbag and trails line, because it's time for Ben to ride his BMX on at the compound which has traditionally always been for mountain bikes and dirt jump riding. So here's a build and ride episode where we build a sick new fly out for technical tricks, into a quarter pipe to then return into what I hope to be an epic trails line like the backyard trails.

Mmmmm you wouldn’t really have a landing they would have to build a landing because you don’t wanna land a kicker to flat but by the time you build a landing you’ll have no room so it would be better if you just had a cut off trail to the quarter pipe

Ayers Rock is the famous red rock plateau in Australia... This massive deck you built out of red clay to do airs off of looks similar... Airs Rock.
In your trails you need a rock garden to call them the Rocky Mountains

a rock garden might be kind of unpleasant on a jump bike or bmx, but definitely should have a rock gap or something, or use a big slab of rock as a takeoff

I live in Alberta Canada, where our playground is the Rocky Mountains! One of the more iconic Mountains out here is called Mount Temple... a classic and one of the 57 11,000ers (3000m or 11k foot) of the Rockies. My opinion lads is to call the ramp to the Air Bag “Temple”. Not only does it keep with the mountains theme, but it harkens back to Frames of Mind that features music from the band Temples... bringing it all together!! Great riding Ben! A rider of the people for the people, and best UA-cam camera man in the game right now!
Definitely build the pump bump. More speed and more air equals more creative tricks.

To get to the trails to the left of the new mini table top you could gap transfer left off the new quarter pipe into another quarter pipe which could lead you back to the airbag
Shark fin out the right side of the fly out, rainbow round the K2 landing and then straight pump track next to the tree line back to Sherpa. Also the flyout/quarter area should be called 'Base camp'. Base camp is part way up the mountain (part way through the trails) and offers multiple routes from there. You could also cut a 'door' section out the middle of the quarter into a roller down the back to unlock more space for sick lines.

Call the new section the "corrie" as the gap between the air bag and the quarter pipe is shaped like one. Also, call the quarter pipe the "backwall" as that's were one would be on an actual corrie!

Hey matt. My idea is that you should build like a dirt skatepark/jump section on the raised area. And built like a little roll in next to the air bag so you can get the speed to get up there. Also think you should name that wooden and dirt half pipe after ben and call it (Ben's place) cheers for another sick video and keep up the grind

100% need the rainbow trail ride over the back of K2, that would add an awesome flow track through the whole site. Also a steep drop down the back of the new quarter pipe (but access it down the right side on the quarter pipe) to something big down there👇

You should call the airbag roll in, the airbag and the quarter pipe, the Eiger, the mönch and the Jungfrau after the three mountains in Switzerland that are next to each other. Once again Matt great video👍

At the right hand side of the quarter pipe, the side closest to K2, you should build an exit 360 carousel down that can somehow reconnect to the trail line. This would certainly test your carpentry but pull it off and it would be amazing!

Speaking to your rainbow idea, I did also mention something similar on the last video BUT it would be great to see the possibility for a long trick line for Slopestyle. We have for numerous years seen you trick two jumps at the compound and it would be good to see a longer line where possible. Especially as the Slopestyle competition has not been running due to covid. More tricks, longer lines please!!
Call the middle section "Aires rock" its big, red & central to both locations. Its known to hold magical powers, this rocks is that it gets Ben back on his bike, top sesh chaps 🤘
