Introducing my newest endeavor: MOON TWIN
This project is a collection of songs I’ve written in exceptionally dark points in my life. These songs cover the depressive states that have ebbed and flowed throughout my life, and the consequent actions that have followed due to it. Out of all the bands I have played in and am a part of, this music is the truest reflection of who I am, and how I sound. I’m overjoyed to finally share it with you via BloodBlast Distribution.
“Scythe & Sickle” is about the persistent fear I have about aging. I frequently have nightmares even still about looking at myself in the mirror and no longer recognizing who I am, or seeing my parents and loved ones near death and frail. I hyper-fixate on the idea of dying and knowing for certain that my day will come. This goes on for weeks at a time, sometimes months. I wrote this song in hopes of making peace with the idea of death and leaving this world.
This song is part of a double EP series titled, “Curse & Sanctuary”. One EP named “Curse”, and one EP named “Sanctuary”. This is the first single of many to come, and I hope you all love it and connect with it as much as I do.
