Should have run a corner board and butted the siding into it. The corners look like a complete miss. Gonna be loud in there when it rains. Nice job otherwise.
I love EVERYTHING about this place!!! I love your choice of soft warm stain, the fact that you got rid of the stark white window trims. I HATE THAT! Everything. Perfection! Well done, folks! Well done.
Love the cladding. All that work with no insulation. Even though it may be summer cabin only with an open ceiling I would have insulated the side walls while it was open just in case it becomes a year round cabin later on.
Was cringing to see you close up those walls with no insulation. Also, dual-pane glass would have been an easy add too. Excellent job on the time lapse and music.
God given talent to do this is one of the most precious gifts god gives, I just wish he had of seen fit to allow me a small amount of talent to undertake such of a venture.
I searched to watch this to see about how the plumbing fit into the schedule, it appears you built this without any plumbing or electrical until it was dried in or am I wrong? Is this how all houses are built?
Thanks for the nice comment Bocephus! It's got water that gets collected from the water tank pumped into the shower, bathroom sink and kitchen sink with an electric pump that's connected to the solar system it also has a waterless composting toilet instead of one with water. The bathroom wasn't shown in the video because it there wasn't enough space to get good video footage.
Great design, great big porch. Would do double pane windows for insulation and cooling. That's gonna be HOT in the summer and find some way to cool the cabin but honestly that's it. My sole critique! LOVE
This book is a great source of inspiration for anyone who wants to build high-quality tiny homes. Instead of settling for ordinary materials and designs, you can learn how to create structures that are durable and aesthetically pleasing. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxLum--iPp9YKZ09j1BMdHaBMLkrGfIbcm The book does not provide detailed engineering drawings, but it offers plenty of photos that illustrate the concepts and designs. The book assumes that you have some basic building skills, but it also provides a range of ideas that can suit different preferences and needs. I found this book very useful and informative, and I appreciate it greatly. Thank you for providing such a valuable content in these Shed Plans. It is remarkable! For long-term service, it seems like it is worth investing a bit more money. Ryan, you are very generous to share such extensive information with us at a very affordable price.
Thanks Den Mun! I love it as a design feature and when your inside it helps direct your attention towards the glass walls but in terms of functionality it's better without it in my opinion
Damn. I remember watching this when it was first uploaded. It was just suggested to me again (algorithm is scary) just as I've finished my own cabin build that was inspired by this.. albeit mine is much simpler - as I am the fool - and less expensive- as I am broke...! Just uploaded it to my channel ! Thank you for the early inspiration!
Wow thanks heaps I really appreciate that! Hopefully I get to go ahead with the holiday park sometime in the next 12 months because the next 3 designs are all very different too! 😁
Thanks a lot Juan! We are starting a website soon, hopefully in the next month that sells plans for cabins so if your interested its called buycabinplans.com
People. This is built in Australia, where the average winter temperature is a balmy 50 degrees in freedom units. It’s not going to snow unless it’s a nuclear winter. Enjoy the construction, and hard work that went in to this beautiful escape.
This statement lacks credibility. How can we be sure it's really Australia? I have seen no spiders, snakes, crocs, sharks nor Rupert Murdoch. I need to see bbq, old AC/DC (or Dannii Minogue) t-shirt or at least Return to Eden poster, before I (as a European) can call it a fair dinkum cabin.
Nice little build guys, not wanting to be a wet blanket but you should have insulated the roof and walls as a minimum it all helps in the long run. Nice outcome at the end.
wow it's amazing, I've been watching this video over and over and it convinced me that I can do it. I want to do the same. Do you share or sell the same AutoCad blueprints? Thanks!
I really love the design with the wood and the green color :) Things I would like to point out: - I think there is insulation missing in the roof and on the top part of the wall at 5:52 - What is with wireing? Is there no electricity planned for a cabin like this? - I think it would be a nice addition if you would try to collect the rainwater in a tank and reuse it in the cabin.. that would be a great way to use the nature that surrounds you in this Cabin (absolutely love the view from the windows) - An additional extra could also be an inbuild fireplace in the deck outside Thats all from me, keep up the good work
Hi Timm, thanks for the comment! It has electricity from solar and water from a water tank that is reused into the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower. Theres a waterless composting toilet in the bathroom also! 🙂 It was my first time filming it all so unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get good shots of the electricians and plumbers putting them in but it will definitely be something that I'll include in the videos for the cabins in the holiday park.
Hi Timm, I agree.. there was quit a bit of insulation missing though they employed a bit of foil/reflective material. Not sure if any went into the ceiling - see 5:20 looking at the high wall area and the 4:06 mark, front lower left wall.
Hallo. Very like like this project home , because of this: high ceilings 3.5 m, a modern glass door, and in the center like in a store 🙂 (sorry without wall insulation), a simple roof .. if this is not a store, then for a bedroom and personal, a second floor is required, so winters are cruel steel ..and in general it’s ideal for an art workshop, any pedagogy lessons, a drawing circle for children, or for buying from someone with modest incomes .. I personally would add trim for windows or protective iron blinds or iron bars and necessarily partitions around the house strengthened the protection.

These are meditation for me.. whenever I watch I go into immense peace and sleep immediately
Yeah me too
The music makes it hard though.
So you didn’t actually watch it 😂
Thanks for putting the video upside down so us American folk can follow along!
Love the cladding. All that work with no insulation. Even though it may be summer cabin only with an open ceiling I would have insulated the side walls while it was open just in case it becomes a year round cabin later on.
Thanks for the feedback, majority of the walling is insulated but next time there will be insulation every where I can fit it
I was curious about that myself. I was concerned I missed something, questioning myself, thanks.
Glad I'm not the only one that caught this. Looks great though.
@@logcabingetaways47 get a temperature gun and you will see the differences along the walls.

Best looking cabin build ever 😎👍🏻
Looks great! The old rustic look makes it stand out. Great job 👏🏼
Thanks so much Alec! 😊
this is not a cabin. This is a house, a big house tho. Beautiful work. Respect mate
Awesome music choice, Robin Schulz ftw, and the cabin is top notch
Beautiful work and great song choices! Lol
I like how it turned out greetings to all Australians 🇦🇷💗
Utterly champs you Aussies really know how to frame! I am amazed. Congratulations. Cheers Mate!!!

Thank you for putting music in this!!! 🥰

Can you make a tour video of your cabin please?
Lovely!
Wow so nice..
I thoroughly enjoyed watching that.
I love watching these videos. They give me so much inspiration to build one, one day and live in it full time.
Thanks a lot Juan! We are starting a website soon, hopefully in the next month that sells plans for cabins so if your interested its called buycabinplans.com
The process of building the cabin is very detailed, thank you for sharing
Your music taste makes this whole montage so much better to watch, I want to live in a cabin now.
Amazing!!
All that hard work and no insulation!
I really dig the modern architecture, done with more "rustic" finishes. Nicely executed, and inspiring.
Thanks so much Noah! 🙂
Amazing!
Amazing restore
Very nice
5 stars on design
0 stars on insulation
I noticed that, too. I was like, "Nooooo!!! You can't just clad the walls without packing in some insulation! That's just a hollow space now!!"
yeah... unless they are in a tropical areas (which rarely use insulation).
Since they from Australia, so i don't think they need insulation
@@jyunsouya4798 You definitely need insulation in Australia. It keeps the HEAT out too. Did you notice the fire place? It also gets really cold...
@@mydv9305txdied i see, thank you for the information 😄
Nice job mate ! Greetings from Belgium.
All the very best for the upcoming Holiday Park !!!! 🙌💓🎉
Awesome job! I love the wood along with the green painted feature wall and outside green trim. Entire home is gorgeous.❤👍👍👍

Top job. It looks great.
wow, they are innovative
Stunningly beautiful cabin and work! I would have loved to see a tour of the inside once it was all done! Fun video to watch!!
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Espetacular
Solid wood, that’s earthy. I like the way you rested on the hammock at completion. Great time lapse.
يراودني سؤال طوال مشاهدتي للمقطع المصور هذا ، هو كم شجرة قُطِعت لبناء هذا المنزل الصغير ؟
Wow, this is amazing ,I love its Gorgeous, well done Guys !!
Thanks so much! 😁
For a weekend hide away, is okay.
Excellent indoor space. Congratulations, beautiful house👏👏
Absolutely beautiful!

Insulation does more than keep things warm. it also keeps things cool.

Gosh I hope to dinthe same like everyone else says. How long did that take you all? Haha had to get out of the city before the chaos?
