LeSourdsville Lake/ Americana Amusement Park - Middletown, Ohio

LeSourdsville Lake was a staple of Middletown and the Miami Valley Region in Ohio for 80 years. Sadly, the park permanently closed in 2002. Plans are now under work to turn the site into an adult education center. It is sad to see it go, so I thought I would share my aerial history video of it before it is demolished. Hope you enjoy!

My name is Martin Sordo Rivas. I worked there in 1990 on the Information booth, The Serpent and a braker. I worked there from June 1 until September 19, 1990. It was one of the best times in my life. I met a lot of people and I'm still in touch with some of the people I worked with. I had a girlfriend that I met at the park and I really, really love and I thought we were going to get marry, but her stepdad..... her name, Melissa Leigh Howell. To watch this video brought a memory that is my heart and I remember every day.
The video is perfect the music the way it was proyected, everything, everything is AMAZING!!!! You mesmerized me!!!!
