    I've always liked toothy Nepenthes, and this has been at the top of my Wishlist for a looong time! However, I've NEVER been able to find one for sale, similar to veitchii, lowii x vetchii, and any nebularum hybrids. By the way, if you have anything related to nebularum ill be willing to trade for my Lowii x Truncata

      I don't have any nebularum or nebularum hybrids. As for lowii x veitchii I don't think anyone has remade it here for years now.

    I'm sticking with Hamata hybrids, don't want to deal with the finnickyness.

      That's fair, it's hybrids are also amazing it's definitely one of those species that does need pretty stable conditions

    What clone is your N.Rajah?

    • @Eat-Me-Exotics
      @Eat-Me-Exotics  10 місяців тому +1

      To be honest no idea, I have 2 I got from a private seller years ago well before I knew it could be a good idea to track those sorts of things and it just had a tag saying rajah.
      My smaller one go some pest damage, once it's recovered and looking better I'm planning to do a spot light on them too.

      Cheers mate. In the fridge I've got 3 mars hydro ts1000s, great lights and being dimmable I can set them to the light levels I want to use.

    mine grow at 27-28 in the day and 20 at night, look happy, but i only had it about 2 month ago... it grow nice, look healthy, but look like its pitchers are smaller than were it grow before i had it.... cant really go lower than 20 at night cuz for now i only have 1 grow tent and my bicalcarata wont like lower...lol! but my bical have 33 in the day in the same tent and is very happy too!

    • @Eat-Me-Exotics
      @Eat-Me-Exotics  10 місяців тому

      Yeah very hard to keep both bical and hamata happy in the same grow space. Hence I don't grow many lowlanders as the rest of my plants are highland to intermediate.
      I'd say dropping to 20 at night should keep hamata OK but it probably won't thrive. Mine certainly didn't till I got the night temp drop properly and stable humidity.

      @@Eat-Me-Exotics my humidity if pretty stable at 100% lol its kinda small grow tent, had a bit of problem when i added an infrared light for the lowlands as it burned humidity, so i added an humidifier...but im about to buy a 10x10 grow tent for highland, intermediate, my bonsail and a few tropical that i have and put the small tent in the big one for the low landers that i have, bought my first nep about 9 month ago, got more than 20 now! freaking love them! looked for years to buy one, and now that i know were to get them, i think i got crazy!!! spent over 5k$ in plant and material, even have a 9x4 artificial bog outside for my saracenia and dionaea and if it survive winter, some drosera...

      @@motatwo awesome, sounds like your all over it. Though I'd try keep the humidity abit lower I think 80% is about the sweet spot

      @@Eat-Me-Exotics i need to find a way to automate my humidifier to get it safelly lower as the infra red light burn up humidity, i need the humidifier, but it run all day in front of a fan to spread it, if it dont run, i risk the humidity to drop too much, i think it cost me a bical pitcher, humidity was not constant and dropp all day and too low, when the leaf unrolled, the proto pitcher was already dryed and the leaf felt like rubber, i added the humidifier and leaf grew normally and since, no more pitcher lost and seem happy! but yeah, need to find a way to control it, that and temp night and day like programable plugs with sensors or something like that for now im only working with timers...

      @@motatwoI use inkbird hydrotherms in all my grow spaces, easy to just set it at your desired humidity and plug the humidifier into it.
      Yes this sounds like an ad but no I'm not paid by them 😂😂😂

    Hamatas are amazing, i feel they are fairly easy to grow or can be.

      If you have good stable conditions they can be, but if not they are a pain.
