You are just wonderful, Elmo! I like the way you start your 'foodie' story by first telling the history of the place that I opined it is a great start...Keep it UP!👍
Elmo, i feel you have a very big contribution on our malaysia and chinese history. You do it very very very well! It is very interesting to listen all stories you telling. 加油!!好有feel ah~~ hahaha 💪💪
A very original food haunt this time at Loke Yew area. I believed it’s a great place to introduce those food stalls and places there. Yes - a big thank you to Danny who has been a great support on almost all the food haunt spots. Thank you Danny 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I could not a agree more that the adaptation and contribution coming from this community is huge to the overall economy. And at last - as said in this episode ( in Hokkien ) - Si Bek Ho Chiak !!! Thank you Elmo 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you for making all this video, especially this video, brought back a lot of memories where I grew up and my childhood memories.i miss my home town Malaysia and all the Malaysian food.
I m a regular customer of Bobby's Chapati. All the other stalls along Jln San Peng also served delicious food. I will try out those u recommended. Thanks for your sharing of food outlets in this area 👍😋😛
Hung Kee was my favourite wanton noodle place. I started patronising it when it was just a single shop unit then they expanded to the neighbouring unit. I agree with Danny that the quality has dropped (in my opinion by a lot). The fact that there are still so many customers goes to show how great the original Hung Kee quality was. Truly heavenly.
Absolutely of what you mentioned, the more we earn the more we paid the tax..even on every crisis. Any of every video you make, I am supporting besides the food we hunger but the opinion you make really makes sense. Life is just to move one. As Malaysians just move one, good, bad or worse just move one.
Elmo has incorporated matters on history, daily life's and politics in his video besides food. It is a plus point to watch. Not sure he has made a history take on Hang Tuah yet.
I have been to some of these places.. back then it was easier and traffic was not so bad . Nowadays looking for a parking space is really difficult especially during peak hours. But i am sure some of the qualities will still be as good . Thanks for sharing .. i will indeed go there one day !
This morning I went to Bobby's Chapati for breakfast n told him Elmo Lee the famous foodie hv published your shop in utube. He said no wonder business has improved considerably n he thank you.👍👍
Yah loke yew famous pilatrophist, same time with my greatgrandfather low boon kim(ghee hin) the place all really change no more, like those were the days, park chia now very kang koh n fined chiar lak, like u say the unami taste also have change a lot ,why not, sure will support this type of vendor if im there, still love the old ambience of eating like that,u cant never change the spots of the leopard, keep it up,mca, dap n gerakan hope the know what going on with this type of makan places that is diminishing, keep it up elmo yr history is also at par, most new generation really dont know about it.
Another great history lesson. I wish these info would be told to all Malaysians before it being wash away by politicians. Most of these eateries are for morning session only. I am nocturnal person which have plenty of morning chore to attend to. Opposite Medan Selera Good Taste there is a good curry mee stall. Not forgetting the popular ZK Restaurant(LGE just ate here) behind the Singh Capati.
thank u for this episode tell the owner i tried the soon fatt kopitiam for their lala yee mee ( Although the waze say its hup lik coffee shop) very good

Hi Mr Lee, thank you for your hard work researching the history of Malaysian events and leaders. It is fascinating to note that you attended the actual Merdeka ceremony, and to learn about our Chinese ancestry. Very valuable information. Keep up your wonderful work!
Loke Yew was an important supporter of the HK University. The main hall is named after him. His bust used to be at the entrance.
Very knowledgeable indeed thanks chew
