The best way for me to calm down in these terrible times is to sit with the realization that God created me to be here at this very time in history. Father, I cannot argue. I must accept and move forward and do the best I can with help from so many sources: Mother Mary, God in 3 Divine Persons, St. Michael’s Chaplet Plus you, Fr. Mike and the many other preachers I follow on Utube. May God continue to Bless You for all that you do my your words, your sincerity, your humility. Without Utube I would not have these resources. Again . . . Thank you abundantly for hearing God’s call and embracing it. JMJ
Father Mike, you were indeed made for this time to minister to so many of us. Thank you for your efforts and wisdom and the sacrifices you make to be a beloved priest.
Father Mike you are a gift from God. You teach us so much. I listen to you as often as your homilies are available. I don't live in the USA and my gratitude to God is deep for the messages sent via you! 🙏
@lesadailey8343 Speaks such truth. I try to start my days hearing His wisdom & His truth resonating in Father Mike’s sermons. Surely you are for our time. Thank you & His blessings continue in you.
There are not so many Priests like Fr Mike whom are willing to tell us all the Truth. Some think it will make them unpopular etc..they fear offending people. Ultimately, God is the One being offended. If you really love someone, you want to tell them the truth. ❤ Thank you Lord for couragous and faithful Priests like Fr Mike. Amen❤🙏👍✝️
God bless you Father Mike. Your sermon was so powerful, I was so moved and it will be on my heart going forward. I was meant to hear this today and carry it forward. When I pray my rosary I pray a bead for you.
Thank you. The icy roads are preventing the drive to church and this homily is so much better than where I attend! I got so much more out of it. Very fulfilling of the spirit! 🙏
You are a brave prophet father. Thank you for preaching the Gospel in an undiluted but loving way. Your witness is encouragingDisciples of Jesus like me to be braver in the proclamation of the Gospel in my own family and to those I encounter. Many thanks and God bless you!🙏
Thank you Fr. Mike, you are a true shepherd and listening to you on the other side of the Atlantic here in Ireland I see you as my shepherd. May God continue to bless you. Amen 🙏
Sunday of The Word of God: Jesus Begins His Ministry and Announces the Good News: The Kingdom of God Is Close at Hand Repent and Believe in The Gospel: Repentance is the First Requirement to enter into the Kingdom of God. It means to turn away from Sin and to turn towards Jesus and to leave behind our old way of living and to start anew with Love - Faith - and Hope as the main Characteristics of Our Behavior. Listen! Jesus Is Calling Us to help Him Build His Kingdom in Our Community! Thank You Rev. Mike O'Connor & God Bless! ⛪
This echoes all of my emotions! I am blessed, I am thankful, I am shocked and dismayed, my heart is heavy… I am faithful and prayerful that I never lose sight of Jesus.
Thank you, Fr Mike, for another awesome homily...you have been a prophet of God to me... repentance is like getting a clean white shirt after confession... love the story of Nineveh! Let the folks in Washington DC hear! Praying for an end of abortion!
Thank you, Father Mike, I listen to your homily weekly. I am grateful for your courage to speak the truth despite the pushback I am sure you experience from so many who are luke warm in their faith.
Wonderful homily, Fr. Mike! God has definitely placed you in our midst “for such a time as this”! Please continue to speak the truth. We so desperately need your guidance in these evil times. May God protect you and richly bless you. 🙏❤️ 🙏
I’m in California & look forward to hearing your homilies! Thank you for being a voice in the darkness and speaking the truth of the gospels into the confusion and deception! Another excellent homily!
THANK YOU Fr. Michael for awakening and responding to your full responsibility and ability. Thank God for sending this strong message to such a good and faithful servant at THIS time in history. His message through you today is sorely needed and we ALL have the FULL responsibility to hear these words and heed them well and immediately. God bless us all.
Thank you Father Mike. My wife and I have one kid, I would love more, but times are so hard, it’s hard to have more. Please send prayers for us to be able to have more.
As I was attending Mass @ OLG online, because of illness, I had to leave the young priest’s homily because he kept quoting Francis! Listening to Fr Mike every Sunday morning, even after attending my own wonderful parish in Newberg, Oregon, I had to go in search of Fr Mike’s homily for today to listen to! Then go back & finish Mass with the other priest. Thank you Fr Mike for always feeding your lambs! May God bless you abundantly🙏🏻
Another excellent homily Father Mike. Unfortunately I had the calling too late. I'm nearly 71 and so wish I had become a priest. But, it doesn't stop me from speaking and sharing the Truth.
I believe in the Catholic Church because it pursues the commandments and desires of God, not of man kind. If we are discriminated against, insulted, or labeled, it doesn’t matter what they say; only what God thinks of me. Lord give us courage and strength to be like Jona.
Father , you are right in this message. I believe we need to hear this message often to give us extra strength to counter the times we have been destined to live in. I pray our voices will respond to others in wisdom and love. You give us the tools and perspective. Many thanks. ❤😊
God bless you, Father Mike, you are an absolute treasure! I pray for you, and I pray that many more young men will become priests with the courage to preach the Truth the way you do. I share your homilies with my grandkids and recommend them to my 10th Faith Formation class. How I wish that we had preaching, teaching like this in my Minnesota parish! I pray for, and strive for MY OWN continued repentance and conversion. Peace!🙏
Great homily Fr Mike. I don’t know why Biden claims he’s catholic as he does everything contrary to Catholic teaching. God bless you and May He protect you in these difficult times. Thank you for your courage. Love hearing your homilies.
Fr Mike O'Connor I just do not know what else to say about your Homlies. Just listen to Fr Mike in everything he says and follow his proclaiming of the gospel. You are blessed Fr Mike and so are we to be able to listen to you. HEAR BELIEVE OBEY. Do not be afraid. In my prayers 🙏
You just revealed to me what "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" means.... refusal to repent and accept God's forgiveness and sacrifice! Thank you! It is that simple!
Amazing priest He preaches the gospel totaly and preaches what the catholic believes in but how many of us follow???? WE want changes that make it easier for us, but because e lack courage and self control we vote change.
My parents had 10 children ( Catholic of course) it was such a strain on them that they fought all the time, it left us traumatized, so I do believe in birth control, a woman should not have to be pregnant every year. When I got married at seventeen, our parish priest came to our house and told me about the new birth control pill, bless his ❤️
Matthew 12:31: Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven [Matthew 12:31] 32 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come. 33 Either make the tree good and its fruit good: or make the tree evil, and its fruit evil. For by the fruit the tree is known. 34 O generation of vipers, how can you speak good things, whereas you are evil? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of a good treasure bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of an evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. [31] "The blasphemy of the Spirit": The sin here spoken of is that blasphemy, by which the Pharisees attributed the miracles of Christ, wrought by the Spirit of God, to Beelzebub the prince of devils. Now this kind of sin is usually accompanied with so much obstinacy, and such wilful opposing the Spirit of God, and the known truth, that men who are guilty of it, are seldom or never converted: and therefore are never forgiven, because they will not repent. Otherwise there is no sin, which God cannot or will not forgive to such as sincerely repent, and have recourse to the keys of the church. [32] "Nor in the world to come": From these words St. Augustine (De Civ. Dei, lib. 21, c. 13) and St. Gregory (Dialog., 4, c. 39) gather, that some sins may be remitted in the world to come; and, consequently, that there is a purgatory or a middle place.
Politics is part of all our lives. We have to recognise that the politics and legislation of today is immoral. This involves all of us. Sorry if you don't want to hear this. It's the truth. Biden calls himself a christian but supports abortion; which is immoral. It's the extreme opposite to Christs teaching. Murder is a grevious sin as you well know. God Bless you.
Thank you so much Father . You are precious gift to the Catholic Church
Amen to that!!!❤❤❤
Thank you Father! May we all be prophets like you! Thank you for being a priest. I’m praying for you at mass this morning!
The best way for me to calm down in these terrible times is to sit with the realization that God created me to be here at this very time in history. Father, I cannot argue. I must accept and move

Fr. Mike's homily on this day three years ago was powerful and true, as usual, but Fr. James's homily today was also excellent.
Yes, father! Great homily! I believe our country is turning into the modern day Nineveh, keep preaching repentance! God bless ❤️

USA politics is about who has the finance to be elected. Jesus would have talked about Washington.
Yes. Pray for Joe Biden.

Sorry, it was not a whale. It was a big fish. Whales are unable to swallow something as big as a human.
please God not man
Enjoyed listening to you till you brought in politics. See ya Padre
Jesus spoke about politics too and it wasn’t well received back then either… pray that God reveals to you what you need. Thank you for your comment.🙏
