Totally agree with the internalized racism among indians in corporate Canada. There was an instance where I reached out for a chat with a manager of a team within my company. During the chat, we just casually talked about where we were from and then realized we had similar native background and spoke same native language , they then directly said to my face " Oh, so that's why you wanted to connect and have a chat". In my mind I was like wtf ? like how can a stranger and someone senior say something like that just because we share same native origins.
I got Canada PR in year 2004 … after landing their to completer PR formalities within a week i understood this is not a place for me and never went back again.

Women won't accept, but the main reason women get lesser appraisers/promotions is they take more leaves due to all the right reasons still it matters in terms of how much work is done at the end, they will prefer going home earlier as compared to guys in certain situations. We all know how important networking is in corporate life, guys to talk more and more people than women.
Due to all of the above reasons a man in the end puts in more working hr than a woman.
In the end, you might be as capable of doing the same tasks but in comparison more work means more money.
Canada 🇨🇦 needs more trades people choose electrician, plumbing, framing, healthcare courses for easy PRs vs IT courses for avg or below avg students. You will at least earn 100k & upto 300k if you work self-employed. more than any tech workers
