Played it. Didn't like the gameplay and the story was a hot mess. Hacking the planet? wha? And the story was poorly told. It should have balanced other characters better. It might have bene Vincent's story, but what made FF7 so great was the entire team of characters we got to know and fight with. DoC is just a lot of Vincent, Yuffie and Cait Sith. Good characters, yes, but we were cheated the moment the rest of the group was side-lined to cut scenes. Not to mention the plot holes. Like in the big battle. How the heck did Rosso get away from Cloud? They were engaged in a fight. She said he refused to lose to a man, so how did she get away? I doubt Cloud lost, so did she flee from him? That counts as a loss to that fight. Meaning she would have lost to a man, even before Vincent fought her for the last time. oops.
I sure he heard him but ignore him so he continue sleeping lol. But how is it that when cloud barley touch it he flew out and introduced himself lol dang he must of been like is this ff7. Nope this is crisis core oh okay closed the lid let me sleep 5 more years lol. 😴
This remake was terrible, everything down to zacks new VA shame they didn't actually give it a fully fledged remake instead of this shitty soulless version of the original
It's a $50 port of a PSP game with updated graphics and revamped controls that actually make the game playable. That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. They could've easily ported the original PSP version over, and nobody would've cared about it, much less actually recognizing how important CC and Zack is to the FF7 story To some, it is a poor excuse of a "Remake." But to others, this is a brand new game with ties to 7 Remake
