I was about to say, this is something the sonic movie would have, but I realized it wouldn't make sense plus it's a missed opportunity to have them remix this final boss music for the climax of the film
i know. or some remix of this and the 3'rds final boss music. big letdown.
Ok but… this is awesome!! Definitely going in the right direction with this! I love the drums behind this especially, those were something I def couldn’t nail in my version of this. All in all this is truly fantastic! Keep up the great work!!

Hero's shadow (alternative ending to Sonic 2)
You walk on from the scrapped pile of metal into the room with the death egg robot, but you see something... lying on the ground... "tails...? TAILS?!" You run to check his pulse, but it's too late... "He's gone, hedgehog. Now, I shall defeat you once and for all... and continue my conquest!!!" Robotnik begins laughing, mocking you all the while...
And at this moment, something just... snaps. "That's it, Egghead. No more Egg Puns." You engage the massive mech at full force, and as the death egg robot begins to collapse, robotnik begins to get worried. "Hey, sonic... i-it was an accident! I didn't mean to-" "Shut it, Eggman."
You destroy the death egg robot, but as the mech falls, so does the death egg. You run to the docking bay and find the tornado, you get in and fly out as fast as you can.
"Now im motivated!"
