Big thanks, my main beam failed. My big sausage fingers could not get in there. The last headlight bulb I have to replace was my old chevy silverado where the the instructions began "Remove grill assembly". I took it to a shop as the job was beyond my pay grade.
@@FixItFrench It only took 15 minutes once I popped the hood. It was a few extra minutes since I replaced the low beam bulbs on both sides (recommended by mfg). It would have been a lot less had I not dropped one of the short bolts inbetween the grill and the radiator, The bolt landed in the front plastic belly pan instead of the driveway. I had to go fishing with a magnetic pickup tool. Such fun!
I couldn’t agree more! Nobody wants to watch a video that drags on for 10 minutes. Glad I could help 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Hello my friend, These cars are legendary. You replaced the Buick Lesabre headlights nicely. Thank you for showing the details. always works great. Take care of yourself. See you. Big greetings.
I wish it was this easy on all of my cars. I’ve got to remove the front bumper on my car. Sometimes they actually do get the design right. Good video👍🏼
There is a small adjustment knob on top. Use a star shape bit to turn it. It’s actually very simple. There is a few numbers on it. Just mess with it a little bit and you will start to understand how it works. If I can find a good video on it, I’ll send you the link to it. Hope this helps🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Yeah that’s one thing I love about my Buick. The only thing I’ve had serious problems with replacing were the rear control arms. Let’s just say they aren’t like normal cars lol I’ve had 5 Buick’s though, and all have them have gotten 250k+ miles. This one is at 269k
I don’t have a video on that yet, but I do know a trusted source that will help you. This video is very easy to follow and they are very reliable. Hope this helps👍🏼👍🏼
@@Charles-h2f4g I believe the bulb is the same but the headlights are a little different. I tried to interchange the assemblies in the 97 Park Ave, and 2003 LeSabre. They are very similar, but they don’t quite fit. It may be different for you since they are only one year apart. If I were you, I would just find the part numbers at O’Reillys or AutoZone and see if they match. I hope that helps.
Excellent thanks man that's very helpful

Glad I could help! I hate cars that involve extra work for small things like this. Glad you could get this one fixed🤙🏼🤙🏼

@@ralphmills7322 haha I knew your pain! Some of the sockets you never get back lol
Thank you for making such a simple video to follow. So much better than those 10 minute long videos that could be as short as this one

@@joshpfaff2488 yeah, they got a lot right with these 3800’s. They are very easy to work on, and they honestly last forever
how do you adjust the alignment of the light beam on that car?

simple indeed. Wish all vehicles were that simple.

Thanks for explaining how to change the bulb on the Buick Century. Can you explain how to adjust the bulbs / headlights as well? Thanks

Very simple! Not all cars are as easy as this one. GM knew what the were doing with these 3800’s
I couldn’t agree more about the 3800’s. I swear Buick’s are the easiest cars to make repairs on. The engine is wide, and everything is out in the open

@@FixItFrench I wouldn't care if I had to drill and make it fit as long as it works lol

NEVER touch the bulb.
Exactly! I’m sure so many people don’t know that either
