Wut an inspiration n motivation. From the distinct sound of her voice to her incredibly toned body @ age 44, leaves me aw struck. Her poor son. The scars of domestic abuse destroys the children both mentally n physically for a lifetime. Tina practiced buddhism n tapped into peace. So sad her son didnt reach solice on this physical plane.

I love her. She was a survivor, for sure, but still (unfortunately) a victim. When you quote "victim" like these, you turn the pain that these people suffer into something that they cannot feel, otherwise they will be just "playing the victim". Psychologically it is important that we consider that. Otherwise we would call all people who were abused "liers" or "players". Because they are obligated to be a survivor, they have to be warriors or survivors. It is not for everyone, and we have to respect every victim - amazingly surviving or still depressed. They both deserve respect.

Her abuse was a pivotal part in her life and she reminds those who went through or are going through that too, to move forward with their lives and be strong. To me, the most impressing thing is that she had the self believe to start all over again after all she endured. To me it's she got a second chance (that she took) of a career, became a world star in her 40s.. (200 million albums) - well deserved. I'm almost more happy about that she found love again with the right partner. What a bless they had almost 40 years together. He was much stronger than me back then. He abused me like crazy every single day. I was like Tina Turner. I just decided one day that I would physically fight back. @Jordan Cales: You have piqued my interest, so please give us the details of how "Tina Turner saved my (your) life.", if you don't mind. Thanks. Btw, she does seem like she is a lovely person who has endured a lot and has survived without being bitter.
