If you have 4 million people putting in an average of half an hour a day into this game, that's some insane cumulative playtime. Every situation imaginable is bound to happen, and developers just can't test every situation like a population putting in literally millions of hours a day can.

In UE4 there is a function called "Reverse Animation" that plays a selected animation backwards, and this function is not the same as having a duplicated version of the animation in playrate -1 . If the bug is what i think it is, it can be simple fixed by duplicating the crown throw animation, changing the copy to playrate -1, removing the function that they used to play on reverse and calling the new animation instead of crown throw anim

Who said developement started in January? And you have the Smash team split up, so a bit of it can work on patches, and most of them who are still there are working on characters. If you have ONE fighter, it takes at most 3 months to fully develop. And just take the time to think about all 5 fighters. If you need to make 5 brand new characters, starting right when the game is finished, and you have a year and 2 months to work on it, Each fighter takes around 2.8 months to develop ASSUMING that they are only working on one fighter at a time, which is completely unreasonable. During Ultimates developement, they weren't putting every fighter on hold until Inkling was finished, they were multitasking. Either way, 2.8 months is completely enough to get AT LEAST a working demo of Jokers moveset to show. Joker WILL NOT come in February, so what you are saying is invalidated in every way. If you argue, just come back tomorrow after the direct for me to prove you wrong

Matchup specific and your opponent would have to just stand there and do exactly what you need them to. Very impossible to set up in a real match. Even in doubles your opponents would have to do nothing while you set this up.

Maybe not impossible but the fact remains that your opponent would have to do multiple specific things AND not know about this glitch AND you need to be playing K.Rool AND you need to be at moderately high %, but not too high that you'll die. It's extremely unlikely.
@@TheMightyGiantDad It's obvious that they need to be Dedede and you need to be K. Rool, I'm not talking about the probability of this happening outside of that. The Dedede just has to press a button twice to inhale two slow moving projectiles while the K. Rool is at a high percent, and it's not hard to know what percent K. Rool will live at. I main Dedede and he can definitely take hits from spit back projectiles. It's just situational, but still extremely possible, similar to landing Diddy's infinite.

More or less at random. Lots of crazy things can happen given enough hours of playtime....
If you have 4 million people putting in an average of half an hour a day into this game, that's some insane cumulative playtime. Every situation imaginable is bound to happen, and developers just can't test every situation like a population putting in literally millions of hours a day can.

also tilting the shield is vertically inverted. so down is up and up is down. strangely, left and right are unaffected.

the bair hitbox only hits by his head during the glitch. you can observe this by hitting the cpu from under a platform
