- To get the best ending for everyone in episode 2, you basically have to be very careful about how you deal with Daniel concerning his superpower. What I did was to discourage him from using it even when we were alone. I didn't let him prank the guy at the market, advised him to be careful after he saved Chris from the treehouse fall and prompted him to tell him the truth. I am not sure about Stephen's accident, but to be sure I didn't allow Daniel to use his power there either. To be safe, I also didn't encourage his swearing. The most crucial choice, however, seems to be during Sean's discussion with Daniel before entering the Christmas market, where Sean should prompt Daniel to tell Chris the truth. You know you are on the right track when, after returning from the market, when you ask Daniel if he spoke to Chris, Daniel replies that he did and that Chris was disappointed. After the policeman arrives, sit back and watch the lovely parting scene between the three boys.

I wish we saw more of Chris, they should have given him an actual superpower to, he does deserve them.

I don’t know why the majority of people choose protect the secret and I always choose stop lying to Chris.
The thing is. It's kinda dumb how it shows there. It shows that most people got Chris into a Car accident but also most people chose to save Stephen. And saving him Encourages him into using his power. And also in the choices it says "Daniel didn't blamed anyone because Chris was fine" but most people got Chris Hurt! RAAAAH!
When that happened I started the entire game over again.
Nah, Daniel using his power to save Chris from the car is the best one.

In two possible endings they do. If Sean and Daniel turn themselves in or if Sean goes to Mexico without Daniel who alone turns himself in Daniel in both those outcomes lives with their grandparents and we see that Daniel and Chris remain friends as a photo shows Daniel and Chris up in the tree house.

Its probably because of the choices you made throughout the game, were the choices you made stealing? Not intervening with daniel and the cougar? If you chose to not steal, and intervene and still got daniel lying to chris, it is likely because of the multiple minor choices you made. I got daniel telling the truth to chris in mine
Heres the choices i made to get daniel to tell chris the truth
Episode 1 - i gave choco crisp to daniel (doesnt effect morality but raises brotherhood) confronted brett (pretty sure it lowers morality but raises brotherhood) when in the parking lot, when daniel asked if we could get a choco crisp next stop, instead of saying "lets take this one" i said "i promise" (raises morality) when asking daniel to go to the bathroom i chose "its safer in here"(raises morality) i did not break the box near the bathroom open( morality remains the same) i did not tell daniel there were bears and wolves and didnt make him eat bad berries( meaningly raises brotherhood) i did not steal from the store( morality remains same) i got daniel a power bear toy(raises brotherhood) daniel had enough to eat (raises brotherhood, raised it a bit more since i got the choco crisp) when hank stamper approached, i chose flee(raises morality) when escaping the store, i chose to just leave(meaningly raises morality) in the hotel, i tickled daniel(raises brotherhood, next brotherhood raise will have stronger impact) i told daniel i promise i wont lie to him again (raises brotherhood, with a stronger impact since i tickled daniel)
Episode 2- in episode 2 i told daniel he could use his powers as a last resort(encourages to use his powers) i let daniel swear(does not effect morality or brotherhood) when mushroom died, i chose step forward(meaningly raises morality, but meaningly lowers brotherhood and meaningly represses daniel from using his power) when daniel lifted the plate with his powers, i said nothing (next choice that raises brotherhood will have stronger impact, lowers morality, raises brotherhood,when stephen asked if i knew anything about daniels powers, i told the truth (this choice only effects sean)when daniel saved chris from falling i conceded (lowers morality for some reason, raises brotherhood, with a stronger impact since i said nothing, and encourages daniel to use his powers) i told chris his "powers" were pretty cool (encourages daniel to use his power) in the market i chose to stop lying to chris (meaning raises morality, meaningly lowers brotherhood, meaning represses daniel from using his powers) i chose to drop the idea of pranking nick (raises morality, represses daniel from using power) when the cupboard fell on stephen i chose to use powers (raises brotherhood, encourages daniel to use power) and that should be able to get daniel to tell the truth
This is so much better than any of the other options. It's so wholesome I love it.

From what I have seen in my playthroughs, you have to make it clear to Daniel that he may help others with his power when they are in danger (ie, like saving Chris from falling) but not overdo it otherwise. When he saves Chris, I think the correct option is to tell him that it was the right thing to do, so that he knows he should intervene to save people, but you should discourage him from doing minor things, like fixing the dishes, so that he realizes that his power should not be taken lightly. Then at the Christmas market, before following Chris and Charles in the trees section, you should prompt him to tell the truth to Chris.

The best ending is subjective I think. My favorite is when they both make it to Puerto lobos and open the mechanic shop, but most people prefer the one where Sean goes to jail and Daniel grows up with the grandparents. That one is emotional and more realistic, but I want them to stay together lol.
This reminds me of this Titanic Story that I am writing about these two ten year old cousins who sailed on the Titanic and servived the nightmare of the shipwreck with their own courage and witts and their friendship 💙 but with great cost obviously. 😢
I had Daniel tell Chris the truth. I know we're on a dedicate situation, but this lie is way too big to be kept (I mean, I hate lies in general, but for logical reasons, let's stay on topic). Even before knowing of the bad endings, I just knew telling the truth was the right move.
How do you get this outcome? In my playthrough Chris almost gets hit by a police car but Daniel uses his powers to throw the car out of the way saving Chris.
You have to make sure that Daniel will tell the truth to Chris, and to achieve this tou need to have taken decisions up to then that build high brotherhood with Sean. @@hisbrokenbutterfly I'd like to point out, it's actually based on Morality, not Brotherhood. You can have the most crappy relationship with Daniel ever, but if you taught him morals, that's what he'll follow while deciding whether to obey your request. Asking Daniel to stop lying is actually one of those decisions that raise Morality and lower Brotherhood.

@@UnfazedPhoenix well they survived but their parents and older siblings did not survive and the sinking of the Titanic brings the two cousins relationship more closer to each other and helps them reconcile.
And everyone from the actual ship wreck plays a part in their story from Captain Smith Bruce Ismay Thomas Andrews Benjamin Gutinhiem and his Italian butler and John Jacob Aster and Maddlin Aster Mr and Miss Strous and Wallace Hartley and the rest of the band even Molly Brown to and the Titanic Officers from William Murdoch James Moody and Henry Wall and Charles Lightoller and the men from the Wireless Room to from Jack Phillips and Harold Mbride.
Is there a way to avoid stealing the yoyo in the market?
If you want the yoyo specifically, you have no other choice but stealing it, since it is not an item that can be bought. Alternatively you can talk to one of the stall owners and tell them that you are with the Reynolds which will make them sell you a gift with a discount.

@@JJJJJ365 letting daniel kill the cougar is what will meaningly lower daniels morality, but as a compensation it will meaningly raise brotherhood, and meaningly encourage daniel to use his powers
Stepping forward will have the opposite consequences
