1:10 this double left is huge in the fight. No other heavyweight can throw the same punch twice and land in quick succession. This changed the fight for Tyson.
I predicted Usyk's wins against Fury & Joshua and was rooting for him, but to be fair Fury did show some great skills here, and gave Usyk his toughest fight to date (and vice versa, despite Fury being previously knocked down by Wilder.) They key for me was Usy's constant, relentless and intense pressure, which is both physically and mentally draining for his opponents. Fury has always been able to control the pace of his fights, and often takes a moment to compose himself, which he hides from his opponent by bluffing (feinting, flicking out weightless punches, even fooling around) to keep his opponent guessing, and standing back. In this fight, Usyk saw it and was having none of it, so Fury was denied those moments to compose himself between the exchanges. You could even see the discomfort in his face when he wanted to take a moment but was being forced to maintain the same pace and intensity. Also a key moment was Usyk landing that punch to the side of Fury's nose in the first round, which troubled Fury for the rest of the fight.
@@brianstewart6497but he shouldn’t have had the chance to! Why ref stop Usyk from punching him a few more time , let fury recover! Shouldnhave stopped the fight or let Usyk ko him

Yep, and Fury had slowed down a bit. Quite a few times there was a look of surprise on Fury's face when Usyk started catching him. He should know you've got to be at 100% for every second against Usyk.
Bit worried for furys health, that punch he took at 1:13 produced some worrying head spasms, he should get some scans and hopefully retire healthy and happy with his great wife.

I do like Fury. But if he didn’t weigh 2-3 stone more than his opponents he would get smashed every time. The open-ended heavyweight division is what allows him to be competitive. He is very talented but without the weight advantage it’s not enough.
Usyk is an amazing fighter. Shame he is on the older end now and won’t get the depth of fighters that the all time greats managed, after all he’s only had 6 or so fights at heavyweight, but in terms of skill set and mentality very few come close. What a fighter, what a man!

@The_Hater_AKA_Truth_TellerCompletely agree and he has done it in the weight classes where 1 punch can literally decide the fight, at the weight where a fight is never truly a guarenteed victory. Credit to Usyk he won that by a solid margin far more than the judges gave him. He is now one of the all time greats
Stupid way to rank boxers in my opinion. I think you just have to make a list of 3 or 4.
Usyk is the man but what is clear to see is how well Tyson recovers from such an onslaught. Proved that with wilder too.

Usyk did amazingly well in that moment when he had Fury wobbled. Not only did he have to attack Fury, but he also had to fight the referee off as well. Twice, he had to push the ref away to carry on the barrage. At one stage, he grabbed Usyks' arm and pulled it down
I watched that live, fricking insane. He was basically fighting two people. The referee got in his way twice and he literally had to shove him out the way. Absolutely ridiculous.

A true gentleman and a great ambassador for the sport.
If they were the same size, it wouldn't have been competitive.

@The_Hater_AKA_Truth_Tellerthat’s a dumb argument. If they were the same size usyk would punch and move slower or Tyson would punch and move faster

Usyk is such a great role model in boxing. His surely a class above sea level and Tyson fury knows that NOW! A win so well deserved for Usyk 🎉👏
4 rounds to Tyson at most. All night the commentary was against Usyk. Usyk landed more punches, cleaner punches and more damaging punches. Im shocked this was a split decision.
I had it 115-112
I though fury won round 3 to 8.
Usyk won 1-2 and 9-12 but the knockdown was crucial was a close fight. I had it one or two points to usyk wasn't a complete beat down no chance even usyk was hurt I. That fight but first tactics all wrong he should of went for it early

These highlights are very Fury biased, most Usyks best moments except round 9 aren’t shown here! Watch the full fight!
I watched it within the last hour, and Usyk was in decent amounts of trouble between rounds 4 to 7, and then Usyk caught Fury very well in 8 and 9. Usyk was unable to make a KO from rounds 10 to 12, and Fury could not find anything either. I can see why it was a split decision in favour of Usyk, and you should watch DAZN's highlights coverage and bias toward Usyk..
The ref should have either stopped the fight in round 9 or let Usyk finish Fury, but he saved him. Ultimately, Usyk edged the fight.
The rules state that when the ropes is the only thing preventing a fighter from falling to the canvas, a standing count must be given
The ref followed standard procedure
Tell me you don't know the rules of boxing without saying you don't know the rules of boxing.

@@agnikaineverdies7646 Thanks for that-I wondered why the fight was not stopped or allowed to continue. That explains it.

Usyk nearly robbed 😂
It was very close fight. So no decision would be a robbery.
Learn the meaning of the word.

Also Tyson needs to leave the showboating out and go on the front foot. But I don’t feel he wants it as much as he once did.
Almost like an exhibition fighter now
I do like Fury. But if he didn’t weigh 2-3 stone more than his opponents he would get smashed every time.
The open-ended heavyweight division is what allows him to be competitive.
He is very talented but without the weight advantage it’s not enough.
