@Tim Morrissey Hey there. I found this motherboard used for 35€ (which is about 15€ cheaper than buying a new a320 motherboard including shipping) and i was wondering if i should get it. I read online that these boards are problematic. How does yours work if you still have it today?
I just build a budget computer for everyday purposes, a little bit of gaming, a lot of office work, a bit of video stuff. This board + a Ryzen5 2400g + an asus strix 1050ti oc + 16 gig of ram (just 2666) and a lovely boot SSD do the job so much better than I had anticipated.
I heard also we need to update the bios first to used the 100% of used it, I don't know if it's true. Planning to buy this board and athlon 200ge cpu.. Advice is hight appreciated. Thanks
hi this might be a bit too late i have the same motherboard and theres a yellow/orange light flashing from the motherboard is it normal ? what does that mean?
Other manufacturers provide additional fan connector, Asus have only two (CPU + chasis, instead two chasis connectors, for front and back fan) in many new budget boards (I noticed that some Intel versions have three fan connectors, CPU + two chasis fan connectors), others have three or more (like Asrock). But Asus have great UEFI.
That configuration can do a nice job at gaming at mid/high 1080p strongly recommended cant go wrong, also my advice is to go with SSD + HDD with a cheap case but good PSU (look for some where Delta is the OEM)
i got this board for my siblings computer, they were just doing basic office/college stuff so it was enough for them, But now my brother is in need of video editing, but we are on a tight budget. Can we keep this board with a more recent ryzen+cheap GPU as an upgrade?
Games depends on the processor, GPU and RAM not the motherboard. Slap an ryzen 5 1600 with this motherboard and youre future proof for the next 5 years
make sure your eps power and 24 pin are plugged in and you are using the right pins for the power button (it can be easy not to connect the headder right or plug the wrong pins in), if you are using a dedicated gpu you can try to remove it and just boot of the onboard graphics if you have that option. sounds like the board is getting power but not the start signal. you can also try just using a screwdriver to bridge the headers if the case button is still not working
hi there! when entering bios, i see an option for cha_fan1. However, no chassis fan slot is in sight on the motherboard? Is there a chfan slot on this? If yes, where is it located?
Is it Good for Gaming i bought a ready PC for 500€ with rx570 Saphire Pulse 8192 mb. And i Have 8gb RAM do i have More than 150 fps in fortnite ? With this setup
Yes, I'm assuming you got this pre built, if not and you plan to build this yourself I suggest a different motherboard. Only because this motherboard bios (which is what basically starts the computer up) will need updating, it's complicated do it and could mean buying an older cpu to do so. But yes this built is definitely a good start, Im starting with the very cpu, and I am also using the integrated graphics. You will notice more demanding games require you to compromise graphically, I. E setting the resolution lower or graphics. So I suggest getting a dedicated graphics card. Don't listen to stupid shit people say, I'm spending £160 on mine, I've done the research and made sure it is compatible, it will last me at least 3 years with all new demanding games at 1080p high/ultra. If you are willing to do this and spend a little extra I will tell you exactly what I'm getting and knowing if it will work. I am getting amd rx580 graphics card. 1. I am tight on money. 2. It can connect to my power supply (IMPORTANT, this isn't always the case as some manufacturers will tweak the cards so make sure if you every buy one it deffo fits, the exact version. 3. Barely any noticeable bottlenecking (bottlenecking is basically when you lose performance due to you cpu or your graphics card not being able to keep up. In the case of the ryzen 3 3200g, this card is entry level and will not keep up with higher end graphics card. Ideally this setup is good with an rx580 or gtx1060, anything more I would suggest getting a more powerful cpu. Dw about this 4k is overrated Other than that, your ram is good Storage is not too bad, I 1tb hdd HDD is slower than ssd but cheaper. I use an a320m-k motherboard so I'm hoping that yours is similar and this is useful.
I should point out, I just did a little search on your motherboard and it is very similar to mine the a320m-k. I can't be sure if the bios will need updating on it, but other than that you should be good. I would suggest your power supply be at least 500w, (you can get away with 450w but as parts get older they may require more power). 1. Make sure its trustworthy and won't blow up (check reviews) I use cool master mwe 230v 500. It came with my pre build. 2. Make sure it has all required wires ( it really should, the only thing that it might not have is pcie connectors) The pci-e connectors will connect to the gpu ( if you get one). Gpus can require either a 6 pin or an 8 pin. I ordered one that required both and mine only had a 6+2 pin. 6+2 means it can act as an 8pin or a 6pin. Dw too much as I'm sure if you get a prebuilt they will give you a good power supply with at least one 6+2pin. They did with me.
Last thing.. If you want to update the bios yourself you need a 1000 series cpu otherwise the board won't work out the box. Don't worry though, if you are ordering this online as a prebuild they will do it for you, if you are buying from a store, ask them too.

if you have a 4k screen then go for the 4k 60 motherboards but keep in mind whatever igpu you use on it won't be able to push 4k 60 so it becomes not so much of a problem as you will put in a GPU which will replace the motherboard display outputs

im currently running a ryzen 3 1300x with this board, too finish my build im looking at getting either rx560 or gtx 1050ti. but here in the uk the 1050ti is going for around £170 which too me just doesnt seem to be worth it for it performance. any advise?
it will get the job done but i'd recommend a better motherboard (b350 and up) for better vrm temps and more power phases for OC'ing. also bear in mind that the a320 chipset does NOT support overlocking and misses on a lot of features, so i'd pick a b350, maybe an Asrock K4, Pro 4 or Gigabyte ab350 gaming 3. EDIT: plus, you'll need a bios update to use ryzen 2nd gen on all 300 chipsets (a320, b350, x370), so if you want OOTB compatibility, go for x470.
Juan Carlos Uv i'm not going to OC, I live in Brazil and the parts are too expensive, so I'm trying to save a little... Hey, what do you think about my config? Ryzen 2600 Asus prime a320m-k Geforce 1050ti Corsair 600w 2x8gb 2400mhz Sss 240gb (no HD on this macinhe) Corsair carbide spec-4
Please specify what psu is that. You don't need 600w, 450w should be fine, so if you want to spend less on the psu get a 450w 80+. I don't know what you plan on doing, but the 1050 ti + 2600 seems good, altough you won't get a lot of features with an a320 board. You should also get higher frequency RAM, 2666 is good enough. I like the spec-04 tho. As for storage, if you're going to be gaming or video editing on this machine, I recommend getting a hard drive + ssd for booting.
Hi sorry I was wrong about the video it is not a 1050ti but a gtx 770 4GB O.C (I already have this one, that's why I'm gonna use it), and I think it needs more power supply right? I'll game and my wife will do architeture projects and rendering, and for this reason I'm getting 16GB ram too. But I agree I think the 2666mhz are almost the same price than 2400mhz or maybe get a 3000mhz I'm not sure about the motherboard and 3000mhz ram's
you'll probably need a better graphics card. CPU's fine. 650w PSU is what you need, so be sure to get a good one (e.g. EVGA G2/G3/GQ, seasonic focus). it's got enough room for upgrades too.
Hey dude. I have this mobo with Ryzen 3 2200g and want to upgrade the onboard graphics. Which is my best option for GPU also considering I only have a 350 power supply??? Thanks very much in advance.
The gtx 1050 is a good place to start, they don't need external power and just run off the motherboard. but jumping even up to something like a 1060 is a much better upgrade. though that said it depends on what you want to do with the system
hey sorry for a late comment but will this board be ok to use with Sapphire 11268-15-20G Radeon RX 550 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card. sorry again cheers mate.
Yes, but it will work but you will need a bios update first and to do so you will need a 1000 series CPU. If you are buying from a pc store ask them to update the bios before you buy. If you don't have a 1000 series CPU you will not be able to update the bios and the board will not work
man, with cryptocurrency inflating GPU prices, you will not find a decent gpu for less than 50 euros. Go for the ryzen 5 2400g APU if you want to play something like esports games (LoL, Overwatch, etc) that are less demanding. suits perfect for budget build, and 2200 is for ultra budget and it offers nice playability on these kind of games

is this motherboard good for ryzen 5 2600 (i curently have ryzen 3 1200 but i wanna upgrade)?
yes but you will need a bios update
im currently running a ryzen 3 1300x with this board, too finish my build im looking at getting either rx560 or gtx 1050ti. but here in the uk the 1050ti is going for around £170 which too me just doesnt seem to be worth it for it performance. any advise?
video card prices right now are not the best on both amd and nvidia side personally id be looking at that 1050ti but 170 does seem rather high
Thanks for the quick reply ! Any advise on where I could purchase a 1050 ti at a more reasonable price? :)
Do this motherboard support rgb headers?
from memory no, you can use an adapter but there is no native support
Can i stream and edit with this board when i have a good gpu?
Yes
@@timmyrehanek9576 thanks bro
Is this board compatible with i5 8400 and GTX 1060 6GB
No. It has an AM4 socket for newer AMD CPU-s not intel.
how many fan headers are there
2, 1 for cpu 1 for case fan
I intend to buy this motherborad with a ryzen 7 2700, is it compatible?
it will get the job done but i'd recommend a better motherboard (b350 and up) for better vrm temps and more power phases for OC'ing. also bear in mind that the a320 chipset does NOT support overlocking and misses on a lot of features, so i'd pick a b350, maybe an Asrock K4, Pro 4 or Gigabyte ab350 gaming 3.
Ryzen 2600
Asus prime a320m-k
Geforce 1050ti
Corsair 600w
2x8gb 2400mhz
Sss 240gb (no HD on this macinhe)
Corsair carbide spec-4
EVGA G2/G3/GQ, seasonic focus). it's got enough room for upgrades too.
i have no clue what any of this m2 slot stuff or anything means all i want to know if it works with a rx 580
Nigga,, it works with any fucking Graphics card ever made
Thanks very much for your reply CPU.
Its useful for those who go on stock and just adjust the ghz and not overclck
Hi , this support an ryzen 5 2600 - rx 580 and 2x8 gb ram 3000 mhz ?
yeah it will, any ryzen cpu will work
yes
Make sure it has 2000 seriea ready sticker
Is it compatible with the I5 and R5?
R5 Not i5
MSI A320M BAZOOKA is better. 4 DIMM slots instead of 2 on Asus, additional fan connector, plus white LED lightning if someone likes bling.
can this mother board handle intel four-core i5.-3570
This is Am4 socket not for intel
hey sorry for a late comment but will this board be ok to use with Sapphire 11268-15-20G Radeon RX 550 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card. sorry again cheers mate.
and this would be for running games such as gta 4-5 and also some others like universe sandbox and wreckfest too
the rx 550 may be a little bit of a hold back but med and low settings should be ok
thanks man is there a better card you would reccomend cheers again mate
hey guys im using ddr4 2x8 3200 mhz on this motherboard but its only showing my dram frequency as 1600 mhz
Go to your bios and make sure xmp is turned on
@@joelsonhebo2993 wait if my dram is 1600 that means my ram is running at 3200mhz ?
Does this support PB2.0?
is this motherboard vr ready?
well the board its self does not advertise as vr ready but it comes down to the components you connect too it to make it vr ready
oh.. so u r saying that if my gpu or processor support vr ...then its vr ready?
Does it have built in wifi and audio?
no wifi but does have audio
i use this board on my ryzen 1700, what board do you recommend for OC?
btw: i liked and sub ;-)
a320m-k compatibility with ryzen 5 2600?
Yes, but it will work but you will need a bios update first and to do so you will need a 1000 series CPU. If you are buying from a pc store ask them to update the bios before you buy. If you don't have a 1000 series CPU you will not be able to update the bios and the board will not work
This should work with any AMD processors correct?
as long as it will fit in the socket yeah
This works with AM4 AMD processors only
What graphics do I take for this motherboard?
help me
not to get more than 50 euros
man, with cryptocurrency inflating GPU prices, you will not find a decent gpu for less than 50 euros. Go for the ryzen 5 2400g APU if you want to play something like esports games (LoL, Overwatch, etc) that are less demanding. suits perfect for budget build, and 2200 is for ultra budget and it offers nice playability on these kind of games
a320 msi, asus, or gigabyte please help me
asus
do you test it
R5 2600 and rx590 ?
Is it supporting dual channel for memory (RAM)
Stefan Pracki yes
Purchase this board today with ryzen 5 and gtx1060, and it won't turn on, and I'm sure I connected de front panel well and the other cables, I ground myself etc, please help
Well try pluging in a case speaker and count beeps and serch it on internet, speaker is included with the case
You have to reset the CMOS. Mine wouldn't start at either but after that I got it working. I bought this same one
THE BIOS ISNT UP TO DATE
had the same issue
Adrien Levert how would you update the BIOS if you dont have a compatible processor,!!
I have one and it only has 1 chassis fan header
Whats a good cpu fan to fit into the motherboard?
Ur mum

Will this board support aura sync ?
Nope
so if I have an AMD A8 9600 from 3.1 GHZ I cannot overclock it on 3.4 GHz into this board?
SPARTAN GAMER nope
This board has an am4 chip set so your chip wont even fit in it. This board is meant for ryzen
@ Jimothy - This board is compatible with A8 9600. It's actually for Ryzen, some APU and Athlon Processors!
