I love how young you all are and how you are not only passionate about art, but also about teaching it. It's the circle of life and you have already figured it out. Our legacy is not only what we create, but what we create in others. I just began college at 58 to get my English degree and have learned a great respect for young people. Whatever you do in life, keep art as part of it
March 2021 now, we are still quarantine where I'm at because mouth breathers decided to breathe through their nose for once. I hope where you are it's better.
Your a wonderful teacher, so young and talented. I'm surprised there aren't more views likes and comments. Its a shame people don't usually see a good thing when its right in front of their nose. Keep it up!
That’s awesome. I’ll definitely need to do more. I’ve been trying to do more 3D chalk art throughout my neighbourhood to sorta lighten the mood during these tough times.
Very helpful. I've been doing chalk art for 2 years, but have not been able to create a 3d visual yet. Tried once and failed. This video is helpful. Only issue I have is that I use my driveway, which is asphalt, so these colors would not translate to that surface.
For the colors, we used the standrad cheap sidewalk chalk you can find in any hobby store. The secret is that we used artists charcoal for the black. Be aware that it is easy to find thin sticks of artist charcoal, but you have to look around to find the thick sticks you need for good sidewalk art.

what a fabulous way to engage children and the neighborhood.. awesome.. it also truly stimulates the brain to think beyond the flat 2d vision of art.

What kind of chalk did you use?

Awesome but get some knée pads girl:)
Awesome, but get you some knee pads, be protective!
Whoo! Looks painful. Need some knee pads
You should have knee pads. Looks painful
Not art. Simple vandalism. Should not be glorifying crime.
