I have made pendants and jewellery for years..your video opened new ideas for me- well done-great for beginners and old design guys like me , thank you
Great ideas! I just received my order of pendants and cabochons and I'm feeling inspired by this video.
I love the magic clay ideas I will definitely be trying that one out
Fantastic! We hope you have lots of fun with this.
You can also get Punches that fit your bezel meaning that you don't need to waste the paper + it's much easier when you're making them in bulk.
Great, really great idea...
Brilliant ideas. Thanks for sharing this. 💕
💘 your ideas 💡❤
informative. interesting. Will try
What type of modge podge did you use to glue the small pieces down for the collage
What is similiar to magic clay I am in the US
Thank you for your comment, we have been told that Crayola Model magic is a similar product an we also suggest trying different types of air dry clay to see what works best for you.
Can anyone PLEASE help me with the paper flaking problem inherent to this art?? I’m using matte paper and diamond glaze and yet STILL, after a few days, many, not all, of the pendants flake. It’s just awful.
I’ve made a bunch of great charms without any issues.
I’m having an issue with some of the images turning blue. But it doesn’t happen every time.
These are the steps I’m doing.
I’m printing my image onto photo paper. I let it dry before I apply.
I’m using Diamond Glaze to adhere the image to the Glass Cabochons. Once it dries I use Diamond Glaze to attach the Glass Cabochons to the Bezel Pendant. Here is a photo showing what’s happening. Thanks to anyone that can help me because it’s driving me crazy.
This is over a year old but if anyone is interested... water based glues/glaze react with copper in metals like brass and (obviously) copper. Use mod podge to seal your image separately to make it water resistant. Once dry use non water based glue (like e-6000) to glue paper to bezel and again to glue glass cab over image. This will prevent any water from touching the bezel causing blue discoloration. Cheers!
Question why you didn’t add Mod lodge on the pendent? Will the pendent fall out during time?
We haven't had any issues with the pendant falling out with this method, it could potentially weaken over time but so far so good!
Hi there! If I wanted to add a small mustard seed inside with the paper background could I do that? I’m new to this lol
Hi,
You may have a little bit of trouble getting the glass stone to stick over the top. You would need a pretty even surface for it to stay stuck down.
can you provide link for the glass cabochon?
I’m just wondering do your gems seem cloudy mine do they are not clear
Hi Donna, This will depend on the glue you use. Mod Podge will dry completely clear where as some glues like a PVA will be cloudy once dry.
Can I use mixute of glue and water?
Hi Srish,
Yes that should work. It won't be as strong as the mod podge so you may have to re glue it if it is worn or handled often.
Is there another name for the paper clay. When I type it in on amazon it gives me modeling clay and when I type in the brand name of it, it brings up only 1 color st a time. HELP!!!!
Hi Kristina, the paper clay can be found here www.zartart.com.au/search?action=search&q=magiclay&type=
Which Mod podge should I use?
Hi Rachel, Mod Podge Matte is the best option.

don't use alcohol ink in spray bottles, it's not good for your health.
