It seems that this was also something that the off-road supervisor was incorrect about. A quick Google does indeed confirm a recirculating ball steering set-up.
We didn't get to drive it on the road, but we were ferried to and from the course in one and it handles the road better than any other separate chassis car we've ever been in. It's worth saying that recirculating ball will correct to centre over time it just won't do it anywhere as quickly as a normal car, so it isn't fidgety on a straight if that's what you're worrying about.
@@BuckleUpShow Is a 'separate chassis' car, also referred to as a 'body on frame' car? The Ford Raptor, Mercedes G Wagon, Lexus LX, are all body on frame cars. Are you saying, the Grenadier has equal to or better on-road handling than those vehicles? If so, that's very impressive. Thanks for your input.
I’m confused. I thought this had recirculating ball steering but it sounded like the Ineos guy said it was rack and pinion?!

Lots of discussion about the steering and the recirculating ball design.
Great for off road. But jury still out regarding on road manners.
@@BuckleUpShowThank you!
