    Hi Charles,
Really enjoyed your Leatherman Wave videos, particularly the video on 'tuning ' the Wave. I've been looking for a video explaining how to make the Wave easier to use for a LONG time!
How do you tune up the pivot point to make the jaws easier to open? Also, the wear point of the plier head track, do you grind that wear point with your dremel tool, or do you polish it?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Glad that you like my yammerings!
To loosen the pivot point, I found that by using a 3/16" dia. pin punch or some such and whacking it lightly right on the pivot point 'axle' while the other side of the pliers is flat on and well supported on a steel plate (my bench is monstrous, so it works well). I whack it and test it. Hmmm . . maybe I'm hitting the wrong side, let's try the other side now. : - ) Then I might hit it a bit harder if it hasn't loosened up yet... etc.
You can tell that this is a precision operation!
Yes, I grind the little rubbed area on the folded sheet metal that makes up the handle. A TINY bit at time, truly tiny! Test, grind, test, grind, etc.
Add salt to taste and enjoy!

@@charlescfap hello from Portugal!! Great great videos.. Regarding the grinding, the one you mentioned on your other video to make the handles more easy to open/close, as I bought a Dremel yesterday, what kind of disk did you use on it?
My wife also has ‘delicate’ hands ;) and is complaining that her old Wave is much better than the new one I just offered her.....
      Thanks again for your videos!!
      Tiago.
