Great selection! We have visited Ipoh twice when driving across Malaysia but next time we will stay a few days to try more things. My husband wants the salted chicken and I usually go to Lou Wongs for chicken rice.
Lucy Holmes Hi Lucy! Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes u totally should explore Ipoh food. I would say Lou Wong is more for tourists.. Try Cowan Street or Bentong chicken next time ;) have fun!
for chicken rice go to kedai makanan taman timur in Ipoh garden east , for kai si hor fun go to moon de moon in kg simee, for beef noodle go to canning garden sun up restoran near market , for curry mee xin quan fang jalan sultan iskandar

How to get there?
Hi Raymond! Ipoh is roughly 2 hours drive from Penang, or a little more than 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. Alternatively, I believe you could fly in there via local flight. Hope that answers your question.
