Mass Effect 5 is currently in pre-production and was already teased and announced officially by Bioware. It will come after Dragon Age 4 and will go back to the Unreal Engine as the Original Trilogy was developed in. Its rumored to take place after Mass Effect 3 and quite some time before Andromeda.

That flying mod really just ought to be in the base game. It’s stated in the codex that jet packs and jet boots are a thing in the mass effect world, and yet we don’t get to use them. The n7s actually train with jet pack and jet boot flight, so why doesn’t Shepard have them? Giving us an anthem style of flight in the next andromeda game would be so much better than driving all the time.

These games are the rare instances where people didn’t play it for the combat, they played it because of the story and branching choices. Mass Effect Andromeda fell flat on its face with its story. Now real Mass Effect fans will forgive you for saying you like Andromeda because it’s probably your first ME game and you’re probably like 9 years old.

Or games like Red Dead 2 which by and large has some of the best music and story in video game history but one of the most linear, boring experiences in the series to date. Dude...this game got so much hate. It was nowhere near as bad as ppl acted like, but then again when mouth animations aren't synced ppl act like the sky is falling. You know why games were smoother way back when? They were simple af. There was no way the game would ever live up to the hype that ppl put on it based past experience amd honestly nostalgia drive a ton of it. Many of the ppl hating it the most came of age in gaming to the original trilogy, and guess what...it had its boring parts too. I played them all when they came out, they were good, and Andromeda was good, it was just never gonna live up to the impossible standard mixed with unreal nostalgia of the younger gamers (though now they are getting even younger, and im sure when the 12yr olds start tearing down perfectly good games because "my hair is clipping thur my pauldron, worst game ever!") Andromeda was fine. These mods add very little, if you need your team to do more, you have a problem. You are supposed to be the hero, overpowering and showing your team how dope you are. And jet packs...

But I also don't think the first ME story was that great either, 2 is where it got good imo. But the story was engaging, as far as reusing well yea but it made sense to me. The kett were less imaginative at a glance, but when you dig into it its kind of cool, one race of people being genetically "purified" to become a race that thinks it is superior, and we don't even realize that until a ways into the game. I know ppl were mad about not having more alien species dunno why they opted for really just the three enemy groups. My biggest gripe was just that the worlds were kind of boring. It wasn't bad, like inquisition wasn't bad, but the open world was just kind of there instead of feeling alive. Its a hard thing to accomplish and not a lot of games do it.

@@Caucasian60 it's not like ME3 is all that better. The fact that any game requires mods to make it feel more satisfying or better kind of proves that even the original trilogy wasn't perfect either. All in all, I actually enjoyed ME:A more than ME3. The gameplay combat is actually by far the best in the series. The ending was actually kind of epic considering you see all your squad mates actually help and do something in the final boss/act on Meridian. It's what ME3 should have actually had with all your previous and current squad mates.
MEA Fixpack, Ironman, and Hyper Mobility are 3 absolutely mandatory mods in my opinion. Everything else is optional (though very useful), but those 3 are game-changing in very important ways. I personally use around 20 mods (but nothing that would break the game), and MEA is now so much more fun and enjoyable.

Most of my mods that I use have to do with actual practical stuff in gameplay, only 2 or 3 are for aesthetics (like the one that removes Peebee's face paint across the eyes, the one to remove Scott's beard, or some casual clothes mods). Besides the Fixpack, Ironman, and Hyper Mobility, I use Better Squad, and mods that rebalance Powers (skills), guns, melee weapons, and augments, and also Road Rage (for QoL). Also increased weapon hit range, and no combo cooldown. Some other QoL stuff such as increased inventory limit, instant mining, and a mod for the stupid Kadara doors. Yeah. These. And I don't use the flight mod (Ironman) often, as I want to drive the Nomad and play how the game is intended to be played. (After all, I have Road Rage for it.) I only fly straight to my destination when I wanna save time. And one other very important benefit of the Ironman mod is that it completely removes fall damage, which is good. I find fall damage stupid in a game like MEA, with our high tech suits, biotics, and jetpacks.
A lot of people on here saying “Andromeda is my favorite ME Game!” Obviously never played the originally trilogy or the incredible story from the original 3 was too complex for their 8 year old minds to comprehend. The combat in Andromeda was cool, but EVERYTHING in the original 3 was amazing.

I don’t think many people played it for the combat. They played it because this game had a story that could surpass movies. It had player choice and player consequence. Any fan of the original 3 will understand that and that’s probably why everyone loved the original 3 so much. Andromeda strayed so far away from that and focuses on combat and better graphics. I’ve played Andromeda and I can’t remember a single choice I made, the name of a squad member, or a planet I explored because it was so lackluster and lacked the heart the original 3 had. I never really had an issue with Andromeda, as I’m a pretty simple and happy with the basics guy. The only thing that did upset me a little is when you complete the game, and then check that terminal for the Quarian ark, you realise that there will be no DLC to tie everything together and bring the game to a satisfactory close. I didn’t mind that there wasn’t a trilogy or even a sequel, or even though there were bugs in the game; I did mind that the fans were visceral in their comments to the developers and the staff. That wasn’t right. State your complaints, give constructive feedback, but don’t act like an entitled and spoilt brat. It’s just a game, it ain’t life and death. All in all it was a good game, and if mods can make it better; then I welcome it!
I liked this game, actually. I just played it yesterday, and was a bit shocked when I found I had played through nearly the whole game without my teammates powers being leveled up. A couple of my crew had 112 unused points😂😂. And I still defeated the Archon anyway. I mistakenly thought my team's skills were on auto level-up, but not so. One thing annoying about the game is the way my squadmates would let an enemy pass right between them to attack Ryder. Also, they hardly ever finish off someone they were attacking.
The dialog in the game needed to be better, although the previous games were sometimes lacking as to following thru on a previous conversation. But the combat makes this game a fun time for me. Wish they hadn't messed up the backup life support, because you really needed it in the Voeld vault. Being killed by the cold is a dumb way to die; the armor sets should have had a temperature control built into them.
What I value most about Andromeda are the planets and its exploration mode that gives more of an "open world" feeling. Mass effect trilogy is primarily a shooter with zero exploration.
I just love that modders themselves put a lot of effort than any AAA dev teams could not do. Looking at their work towards Mass Effect Andromeda,just shows that how much improvements they’ve made. Every AAA company should take lessons with their mod works.
I wanted to love this game. Technical issues A YEAR AFTER THE DEVS GAVE UP ON IT made that impossible. I bought it three.fucking.times. On PS4 I'd get yeeted out of my ride on planets and be shot into space constantly making me reload. The facial graphics would give up on me and I'd speak to someone who wasn't moving their mouth at all. And on the final boss I blue-screened. Mid boss. Three times. I assumed "okay, it's just shitty on console. Fine" so I got it with Orgin. Same. Goddamn. Issues. On a PC THAT FULLY PLAYED CYBERPUNK 2077 AT LAUNCH WITH NO ISSUES. That PC could fight god and win...but not Andromeda. I even fell out of my ship quarters into space multiple times. Grabbed it on steam later too. All the same issues. NOW, my fifteen-hundredth attempt and I'm loading dis bish up with mods. If its going to crash every 5 minutes then I at least want to feel like it's my own fault because goddamn man, I am trying.
The character’s actually named Pelessaria B'Sayle, and only nicknamed Peebee, not “Peewee”. Even if your so-called facts were correct, that wouldn’t be much of a reason to not want to play this game, which in my opinion was pretty good, despite almost inevitably disappointing in some ways compared to the ME trilogy.

However gameplay, notably combat, is frequently considered MEA’s greatest strength, indeed eclipsing the trilogy in the opinion of many, myself included.

Just some friendly advice for those who are thinking! hey, mods! unfortunately when modding or applying mods to games that use frostbite engine you will encounter problems, either with the tools used to apply them "version is out of date" or the launcher refusing to launch game, its possibly the worst modding kit in any commuity. I've unistalled a few games that use this tool, and I mod many games, including scripting for ARMA3
I started modding MEA last night, and noticed that out of date message. I tested it though and the mods still worked, haven’t ran into a launching issue yet but I also only have about 6-7 mods installed at the moment
I just started playing for the first time and I have a question. I've seen there are many side quests but I find them by luck. I keep thinking that I may miss something because I didn't went in a specific place at the right time or I did a different quest and the side quest is not exist anymore. How can I know I have all side quests and when I should do them?
@@hariszark7396 Fortunately most of the quests can be finished during the whole game after you unlock the areas. You only have to sweep the vaults, because you can't return there. And when you defeat an Architect, be sure that you get the loot from the crate it drops. Those crates can also disappear. These are necessary for the Remnant Data Core quest. If you miss those, you can't finish it.

The game IS good whatever they say. Get it in a low price at Steam as I did a few weeks ago. I'm loving it so far in the vanilla version. I have never played ME1-2-3 ever thought. Not planning to.

You can mod this game 200+ times as much you want, but it will not change the hilarious memey animations to improve enough or writing. The game will always mediocre tier when it comes those things, which is majority of what you experience in the game. No amount of modding can redeem those things in the game.

The story and dialogue sucked and a lot was reused. Compared to the first ME games this made it a huge disappointment.

I don’t think many people played it for the combat. They played it because this game had a story that could surpass movies. It had player choice and player consequence. Any fan of the original 3 will understand that and that’s probably why everyone loved the original 3 so much. Andromeda strayed so far away from that and focuses on combat and better graphics. I’ve played Andromeda and I can’t remember a single choice I made, the name of a squad member, or a planet I explored because it was so lackluster and lacked the heart the original 3 had. I’m pretty sure Mass Effect 4 is going to be trash.
@@Caucasian60 So did you have all these great choices in ME1 or did it take 2 and 3 for your choices to really have meaning. Andromeda haters wanted a single game to be better than the entire trilogy. That's dumb. Andromeda is better than trilogy in every way.
I really enjoyed this game not the original trilogy but I liked it as a new entry to set up a new trilogy

I never really had an issue with Andromeda, as I’m a pretty simple and happy with the basics guy. The only thing that did upset me a little is when you complete the game, and then check that terminal for the Quarian ark, you realise that there will be no DLC to tie everything together and bring the game to a satisfactory close. I didn’t mind that there wasn’t a trilogy or even a sequel, or even though there were bugs in the game; I did mind that the fans were visceral in their comments to the developers and the staff. That wasn’t right. State your complaints, give constructive feedback, but don’t act like an entitled and spoilt brat. It’s just a game, it ain’t life and death. All in all it was a good game, and if mods can make it better; then I welcome it!
I liked this game, actually. I just played it yesterday, and was a bit shocked when I found I had played through nearly the whole game without my teammates powers being leveled up. A couple of my crew had 112 unused points😂😂. And I still defeated the Archon anyway. I mistakenly thought my team's skills were on auto level-up, but not so. One thing annoying about the game is the way my squadmates would let an enemy pass right between them to attack Ryder. Also, they hardly ever finish off someone they were attacking.
The dialog in the game needed to be better, although the previous games were sometimes lacking as to following thru on a previous conversation. But the combat makes this game a fun time for me. Wish they hadn't messed up the backup life support, because you really needed it in the Voeld vault. Being killed by the cold is a dumb way to die; the armor sets should have had a temperature control built into them.

What I value most about Andromeda are the planets and its exploration mode that gives more of an "open world" feeling. Mass effect trilogy is primarily a shooter with zero exploration.
I just love that modders themselves put a lot of effort than any AAA dev teams could not do. Looking at their work towards Mass Effect Andromeda,just shows that how much improvements they’ve made. Every AAA company should take lessons with their mod works.

I wanted to love this game. Technical issues A YEAR AFTER THE DEVS GAVE UP ON IT made that impossible. I bought it three.fucking.times. On PS4 I'd get yeeted out of my ride on planets and be shot into space constantly making me reload. The facial graphics would give up on me and I'd speak to someone who wasn't moving their mouth at all. And on the final boss I blue-screened. Mid boss. Three times. I assumed "okay, it's just shitty on console. Fine" so I got it with Orgin. Same. Goddamn. Issues. On a PC THAT FULLY PLAYED CYBERPUNK 2077 AT LAUNCH WITH NO ISSUES. That PC could fight god and win...but not Andromeda. I even fell out of my ship quarters into space multiple times. Grabbed it on steam later too. All the same issues. NOW, my fifteen-hundredth attempt and I'm loading dis bish up with mods. If its going to crash every 5 minutes then I at least want to feel like it's my own fault because goddamn man, I am trying.

Just the fact that this game has a character named peewee, is enough to make me not want to play it.
The character’s actually named Pelessaria B'Sayle, and only nicknamed Peebee, not “Peewee”. Even if your so-called facts were correct, that wouldn’t be much of a reason to not want to play this game, which in my opinion was pretty good, despite almost inevitably disappointing in some ways compared to the ME trilogy.

You can’t carry the name of mass effect and not be compared to the original trilogy, and I think that it is fair to compare as andromeda is trying to be the original mass effect games so.
@@filmetiquette2409 Agreed that it’s fair to make comparisons with the trilogy since it’s cashing in on the franchise; and agreed about the characters being mostly underwhelming compared to the beloved trilogy crew, (though Peebee was arguably one of the more entertaining MEA characters, despite being loathed as much as loved). However gameplay, notably combat, is frequently considered MEA’s greatest strength, indeed eclipsing the trilogy in the opinion of many, myself included.

Andromeda is a good, if forgettable, summer blockbuster game. The problem is that it is a crap Mass Effect game.
Just some friendly advice for those who are thinking! hey, mods! unfortunately when modding or applying mods to games that use frostbite engine you will encounter problems, either with the tools used to apply them "version is out of date" or the launcher refusing to launch game, its possibly the worst modding kit in any commuity. I've unistalled a few games that use this tool, and I mod many games, including scripting for ARMA3
I started modding MEA last night, and noticed that out of date message. I tested it though and the mods still worked, haven’t ran into a launching issue yet but I also only have about 6-7 mods installed at the moment
there was also an 18+ mod with nude ryder. tho it doesnt serve no purpose other than to cater to coomers

I just started playing for the first time and I have a question.
I've seen there are many side quests but I find them by luck.
I keep thinking that I may miss something because I didn't went in a specific place at the right time or I did a different quest and the side quest is not exist anymore.
How can I know I have all side quests and when I should do them?
@@hariszark7396 Fortunately most of the quests can be finished during the whole game after you unlock the areas. You only have to sweep the vaults, because you can't return there. And when you defeat an Architect, be sure that you get the loot from the crate it drops. Those crates can also disappear. These are necessary for the Remnant Data Core quest. If you miss those, you can't finish it.

@@hariszark7396 Trust me. When you find time, do yourself a favor and play the trilogy. If you love Andromeda, then story and lore-wise these games are on a whole other level. There are no jetpacks, though. But overall ME trilogy is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had

You can mod this game 200+ times as much you want, but it will not change the hilarious memey animations to improve enough or writing. The game will always mediocre tier when it comes those things, which is majority of what you experience in the game. No amount of modding can redeem those things in the game.

The story wasn’t as cool as the trilogy, and protagonists felt weak, and the antagonist feels boring…..but it was still a great game in its own
Man I really don't know why I'm enjoying this game a lot I played it on my PS4 pro 3x already 100% completion every run .. make my male & female character look like Philip jay fry of futuruma an idiotic space shyt hahaha damn!
