n.1: is not necessarily a problem if it happens slowly as in over the period of many days/weeks! A lower level in the reservoir over a long period of time is due to brake-pads wearing down and the brake-system behind the reservoir requiring more fluid to press in the pistons, to compensate for the material that is now worn off the pads. That's why you also have the rubber pad that lies on top of the fluid coming down with it, it ensures that no vacuum can stop the fluid from going into the system and keeps out any air that could introduce moisture. n.7/bonus: I think you could add that keeping the chrome part of the suspension clean, down to the bottom, is vital for preventing leaking fork-seals. I even go as far as lightly lubricating it with Ballistol oil after cleaning it and compressing the fork a few times after applying the oil for it to go under the seals and keep them a bit moist, then wiping off the excess.
Fully agree. Indeed what I mentioned in here are daily/frequent checks. I wouldn’t expect the brake fluid to drop quickly but over a longer period of time it will go down as the brake pads wear out. Good point about the front suspension!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks, man! Glad you've enjoyed the video! Nice! Have you already been to Croatia? It's a beautiful contry! my wife is from Bosnia and her name ends with Zobic. Pretty much everybody's names in the Croatia/Bosnia has the same ending.
Hi mate, I don’t carry spare bolts with me. However on longer trips, specifically for the CRF300L I carry: - brake pedal - gear shifter - gear shifter spindle shaft
Don’t top off the brake reservoir !. If the liquid is low and there is no visible leak that means the brake pads are worn, since the piston has to be further out of the caliper when the pads are worn there is more brake fluid on the caliper itself
Hi Guillermo and thanks for the comment! Maybe a miss understanding. As I mentioned in the video, these are *daily* checks. I’m pretty sure it’s not possible to wear down your brake pad and notice a drop in brake fluid daily. If your brake fluid goes down within one day, that’s a problem that I cant imagine is connected with the brake pads wearing.
Hi mate, Sorry it’s taking so long :/. The tool rolls and most of the tools are already in our stock. I’m just waiting on the delivery of the tire levers. They are coming directly from the forgery and are currently being machined for the wrench size. So we are almost there. Shipping should start in 2-3 weeks.
There is no fixed amount of time or miles. The best is to observe the chain noise and appearance. For instance. During my last trip I was riding a lot of sand, dust… daily cleaning and lubrication at the end of the day. However if I’m just riding between home and work, just tarmac without rain, I can go easily a full week without even touching the chain(probably more).

Terima kasih atas komentarnya! Senang mendengar videonya bermanfaat!
Great watch. Funny thing, my dad's side of the family is all from Croatia. My last name ends with "covich"
Thanks, man! Glad you've enjoyed the video!

Good video!
Thanks!
Hello . Thank you for video . What kind of bolts you take with you ? If you Can put a list it would help a lot ✌️
Hi mate,
I don’t carry spare bolts with me.
However on longer trips, specifically for the CRF300L I carry:
- brake pedal
- gear shifter
- gear shifter spindle shaft
Depending on the length of the trip, spare clutch and spare clutch cable. I don’t carry spare levers as I my motorcycle has handguards.
Don’t top off the brake reservoir !. If the liquid is low and there is no visible leak that means the brake pads are worn, since the piston has to be further out of the caliper when the pads are worn there is more brake fluid on the caliper itself

When do you think your tool kits will be available for purchase?

How often do you lubricate your chain?
