The Japan boots were the first Zeppelin live recordings I ever heard back in 1986 or so. Zeppelin then became my favorite band and I have never looked back. There is no better band that was ever put together.
Who the fuck listened to this and said to themselves, hmmmm...thumbs down.
Oh ! And Dazed is absolutely ridiculously delicious. Wow !
As a Japanese, I think I need to translate the commentary of the first 3 minutes. The commentator says " Led Zeppelin have come to Japan in order to tour in Hiroshima. Other dates in Tokyo and Osaka are just extra." "All the revenue will go to Charity as they do not receive any." "Rock and Roll is about love, peace and soul."
The commentary includes attention and warnings as Rock and Roll used to be reagarded as "anti-social" during 1960s and 1970s in Japan. Even owning an electric guitar used to be regarded at that time as well.

tetemotion thank you!
John Bonham has always been my favorite drummer.
Plant's voice is even higher than the actual studio recording.....INCREDIBLE TALENT!!!
+cgcgce he compleltly lost it after...
his voice was unmatched until it was destroyed in late 72/early 73
unmatched is the word...never again will anyone match it....hitting higher notes than the studio versions...celebration day is a very fast paced soulful song...he knocks it out of the park...alone with the jimmy, jpj and bonham.@@eatthisvr6
John paul jones during Dazed and Confused is just godlike basslines
You can't imagine how hard it is to repeat that bass line scale for 15-20 minutes. Unreal
Zeppelin was heavier then them all some moments and could be as lights a feather. So much depth to this band
Music finally kicks in atound 9 minutes! Get to it!
Awesome show!!! wow!!!
The first tour of japan that Zeppelin did were the best live shows they played through out their carrier !!!! They were tight but loose enough to try new ideas and jams in WLL and so on
Led Zeppelin is still the most loved band in Japan. Jimmy Page is called “Kamisama” (God, in Japanese). Well, Led Zepp is my religion ...
I ❤ U girl
arigato conney-san

Wow, the whole show or pretty close.
I was just looking at your video uploads and you are nearing in on 5000. That is quite an amazing feat.
Thanks CF~

This was a benefit concert in honor of the victims of the atomic bomb. When they visited the Peace Memorial Museum, JPJ was speechless and Jimmy cried. There is a video of him in 2015 taking flowers there. LZ is still very much loved in Japan (it is interesting to note that Jimmy has an affective connection with Japan but I don't believe he has Asian blood)
I have heard that his mother was 1/8th Chinese.

I've heard that many times too, I don't know if it's true. But it is interesting to know that he was invited to play at the Beijing Olympics.
That was excellent!! Is it just me or was that the longest introduction you ever heard? I thought that guy would never shut up and let them play!
Yeah the introduction was almost 10 minutes long
Zeppelin over Japan
The music starts at 9:35
It just goes to show the Sun never set over the British Empire; until the mighty Led Zep was no more!
Japan was never part of the British Empire

@@Conneyfogle I'll give it a shot. Thanks Conney. Btw, do you have the flac files for this? Either way, thanks for the upload. This is a good one!
this is the heaviest thing to hit hiroshima since august 1945
what is the name of that classical music bit at 17:39 jimmy plays ?
Bouree - Johann Sebastian Bach
great,thanks
Too much talking at the beginning.
How long does it take for radiation to completely dissipate after a nuclear explosion???
You could say they were "da bomb" in Hiroshima. But I wouldn't. Bad taste.

"A SONKER OF A SHOW ANYHOW"

@@amarshmuseconcepta6197Definitely used the album cover of their debut on top of the bootleg would’ve worked out too!!Although not being our allies at this time? Yeah, probably not the best idea 💡 but funny enough to have started another World War with Iran just last weekend goes to show how karma works! Or at least the current administration anyhow, right? Hiroshima ? Next stop : ‘ Lakehurst ‘ New Jersey . The ‘ Disaster Tour ‘ 1971. Almost as bad as band with a name like ‘ Dirty Harry ‘ performing at Nagasaki .
