Have a 2020 Sport XXC which is same interior, I unbolted my seats and slide rails from the frame and took 1" square tube To make a riser, then added some washers in back to raise it up so you sit up straighter, works pretty good. The cup holders actually work pretty well, we put water bottles in ours and they have never fallen out, even when I put the machine on its side once. Should be a couple cut outs for switches in back of shift console also.

Good review and I like how he pointed out the roll cage and how it gives a little more room when a tree is beside you and the machine is tilted. I think they make the seating to low on these sport utility machines I like the upright seating of my Rhino.
Good looking machine, really like the Commanders but I'm so limited in length the Sport was only way for me to go. Not big on flashing lights but each to their own. Seeing to back up was bad on old SxS & no better on new Sport, seriously thinkin back-up camera too! Would love to ride with you guys sometime, I'm not that far away.
Do you know whether or not there are any electronics or sensitive equipment under the passenger seat - under the plastic floor pan? Hard to see and was thinking about mounting electronics there (marine rated and sealed of course)
Just found your channel - and i fully agree on the mirror issue. Looking at cameras but don't want it. As someone else said - we got RTIC water bottles and have NO problem with them. They stay put, and even with the furnace that's down there they stay perfectly cold. Largest problem is they STILL have huge heat issue inside, i've lined the center console, but shame on Can-Am given the known issues on legacy models to still have this. Oh - and we have PLENTY of lights - but does he have Turn signals LOL
Can you provide a link to the halo/whip/soundbar combination that syncs all together? Also you have an amazing machine thank you for sharing you build and experience
I have a question on our 2022 XTP heater install. Do I need the heater adaptor kit for smartlok? I read the build sheet for my machine and it says: “Specific to package - Smart-Lok front differential”. That tells me I need it, correct?
@@CommanderOutdoors mine was dealer installed and makes a popping sound from the get go.. told me they were in touch with BRP for a fix and never heard anything.. this has been since February

Question, i have a 700xt commander 2022, its my first side by side. Ive put almost 500 miles on it, but my shocks are starting to squeak real bad when i sit in it when i hit a bump etc. i want to install a better set of sturts and springs but i cant find any that fit, and you seem to know alot more than me, can you guide me in the right direction possibly, and also to the head lights, im digging those, o yeah one more thing i have this weird rattle like under my shifter and it doesnt stop this noise its driving me crazy. any tips. sweet ride though
I have an original style Commander that I have been thinking of selling to get a new machine. I have had great luck with my Commander but I have looked at the new Commander and they appear to have a very small interior cab compared to the original? How do you feel they compare in that manner?

Yes he does . Agent orange no longer has seat belts , so he used the seat belt bracket and mounted the fire extinguisher on the inside of the cage .Custom bracket had to be made .
I have the same xtp. I put rocky mountain atv side mirrors way bigger. I also put 2 inch seat risers in mine helped a lot. I agree the cup holders r stupid. .
I have a 2022 Can Am Max XT and my cab gets hot. I have a bent metal vented windshield and side wind deflectors. I insulated down the middle above the radiator line too. It helps a little but still hot. Anybody had similar problems and a fix for it?
@@joshchapman7911 I talked to bent metal the first of September “22” they told me that they will have a windshield wiper for their glass window that will be available some time after the new year, don’t remember the price
2.5 years into my maverick sport. No major isssues other than the made in china axles its on its second rear pair and they need replaced again. The shocks have all leaked nitrogen. Have replacement endcaps from srs coming. And the springs are garbage. Shock therapy kit just got done, and it makes a world of difference.

The fix is very simple , get a flip up windshield....problem solved.

i find these cabs are too narrow for the width of the machine. i have a wolverine x2 with lots of cab width. nice build doh!
