- Turkish President’s top rival Ekrem Imamoglu has taken a different stand on Hamas. Istanbul mayor Imamoglu slammed Hamas over the Oct 7 surprise attack on Israel. Ekrem Imamogu, in an interview to CNN, called Hamas a “terrorist organisation”. He also highlighted the Imamoglu also highlighted the suffering of Palestinians & urged Israel to end the Gaza war.
