- Pro-Palestinian activists staged demonstrations outside weapons manufacturers across the United Kingdom on the 76th anniversary of Nakba Day on May 15. The activists protested against supplying arms and ammunition to Israel. In Glasgow, a group of protesters blocked the entrance of the Thales plant. In Shenstone, members of the Palestine Action group blocked the entrance of Israel's Elbit Systems UAV Engines Ltd. factory. Watch

This is my current understanding of the Middle East Nakba Day, but I could be wrong.
Some of the Jewish people use terrorist tactics to push for the creation of a Jewish State and back then, this terrorism worked well.
On May 14, 1948, Israel declared independence. Immediately following that declaration, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Saudi Arabia waged a genocidal war against the new Jewish state. During this period, one million Jews ethnically cleansed from Arab countries.The Arabs and Palestinians repeated similar self-inflicted humiliations, most notably in 1967 and again in 1973.
I also understand that the entire area has had continuous religious genocidal conflict of one kind or another for 1000's of years.
The Oct 2023 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel is just a repeat of the self-inflicted humiliations suffered in the past, but with even more devastating consequences to themselves and especially the general population.
It seems to me that a shift in tactics is urgently needed before the combined effects of the Hamas-Israeli & Russia-Ukrainian wars bring full global war AGAIN.
