I was going to say that the shots were likely taken at a different time but at 6:50 you can see Andy's plane and the second in the same shot.
Then I was going to say the second plane could just be a 1-man plane so Hamish wouldn't be able to fit but at 6:35 you can see it's a 2-man plane...
Most likely they either needed a second plane for filming purposes, the second plane had more sensitive equipment so wasn't safe for an un-trained passenger, their producers made a booking mistake and only paid for 1 flight or it was intentional all along to get better footage.
