- To promote their Caravan of Courage: UK & Ireland... what? Special? That never aired in the UK. Radio highlight special of the trip, I suppose. Really, I think this was just for exposure. Sorry. To do that, Hamish & Andy appeared on the Graham Norton Show with other guests Joanna Lumley and David Hyde Pierce. In this clip, they demonstrate their world-famous Ghosting sport.
this is exponentially a greater advertisement for australia than any tourism commercial.
Couldn't agree with you more, my friend!! Two awesome Aussie guys, 100% hilarious & down-to-earth...
...do you know what “exponentially” means?
This is how we roll mate! 😁👍
@@lavielemond Down to earth sure but definitely out of touch with the common man, at least for Andy
Tourism Australia could have fired Scott Morrison from his marketing job earlier and these two could have handled his role casually a few times a year with better results.
How did I never know that Hamish and Andy were on Graham Norton
Exactly why I'm here
same wtf
Oath
Same!
Because they got there by mistake
I didn't even know these guys had any sort of profile outside of Australia...
The International Ghosting Federation knows no bounds
Kind of embarrassing that they do
I'd say this was their peak
@@drumboarder1 yep never again
Hamish has actually done the UK version of "Thank God you're here" too 😂
2010; 'ghosting' means following someone.
2018; 'ghosting means avoiding someone.
online dating changes everything.
I thought it was still the same really..
Like you ghost someone online.. follow someone online without them knowing you are watching/keeping updated
im 14 and this is deep
@@drewmcdonald7076 Things heard inside a clergyman's office.
stupid tinder
"For instance, you can't Ghost in India because it looks like everyone is."
hahaha
Lol
Hamish's hair is just… just wonderful.
He's like a brown fluffy dandelion
And Ando!!!!
He's like a brown hair version of Noel fielding
Did our country proud 🇦🇺 we’ll done, lads
@@TheKingkeano wot
@@TheKingkeano bet its fun in your house.
James Dalton You seem like fun
@@TheKingkeano what the hell are you on about
@@TheKingkeano they r actually if U watch Hamish and Andy then U would know that
I went to Australia for about a month, and I remember watching hamish and andy, so hilarious. Wish they aired it in norway.
8 years late. But they have their own podcast
How is Norway treating you these days? Hope all is well for you 8 yrs after this comment.
@@lvldarwin Haha, Thank you. I was shocked when I saw that someone had replied to this. Had totally forgotten all about. I've visited Australia 4 more time since then actually. But yes, im doing good here in Norway, thank you for asking. Hope you're doing well wherever you are aswell! Stay safe.
@@fredrikthepussycat Doing well thank you mate. Lots of rain in north Australia where I am which is welcome relief at this time of the year. All the best, stay covid free and hopefully we'll all be travelling the world again soon.
got to love the Vikings
HAMISH AND ANDY WERE ON THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW?? HOW DID I MISS THIS??
It was 8 years ago
I just automatically cheered and fist pumped the air when he did that twirl at the end ;p
Nothing like a bit of "trick ghosting", eh?! The IGF (International Ghosting Federation) would surely approve!!
I must say, I love the English for this. They have totally indulged it and the audience are into it. Big hug to England!
I’m so happily surprised to see Hamish and Andy on the Graham Norton show. There’ve been around since I was in high school.
Well this episode was super old. Probably from around then.
im just pointing out that when he's out on the street he looks like a giant
Yeah, he's a tall lad, especially when the majority of people in entertainment are not...
5:06 the spin move was the icing on the cake lmao
When we have people like hamish and andy im glad to be an aussie!
The state of their haircuts 😂😂
love Hamish and Andy !!; i'm a proud Aussie!!
8 years later and still awesome!
I didn't even know they were on his show, that was an awesome segment with the ghosting. Hamish & Andy are sooo funny with that segment.
People need to relax and just enjoy the Ghosting. Welcome to 2014.
High five, man.
Jamieson Mclachlan you're a sellout!
+Jamieson Mclachlan wrong
its now 2019, scary
Welcome to 2019, I waited 5 years to reply to this...
To anyone dissing DHP; he was only joking, he was playing along. He was acknowledging that he did nothing to make the 'bit' funny and genuinely seemed like he was enjoying not being the center-of-attention. He wasn't being rude, he was trying to highlight the guys by saying he didn't do anything and the laughs were coming from Hamish and Andy; he's a gentleman.
Good grief.
James McInnis fuck off, James
@@jamesmcinnis208 fuck off, James
Love everything Hamish and Andy do!!!
To the lady who did the "high 5". For us normal people. Sweet.
Australia is amazing you have to visit! i live here and Hamish and Andy are the best ever!
hahaha everyone in the pub was watching hamish :P
This are the only people I can listen to on the radio.
These is.
@@jamesmcinnis208 These are?
@@LBandCOOLJ Third time's the charm, I guess.
the IGF 😂
the IGF (international ghosting federation) hahahaha
Those 2 have the best examples of 2008-2010 hairstyles.
good to see andy getting a few laughs without hamish's input
These guys make me proud to be an Aussie.
Aussie Aussie Aussie
Joanna Lumley was LOVING IT
Always loved watching them do this. 😆😆
Graham waves 'come back in' at the tv as if hamish can see.
Australia, know for their awesome humour.
I used to do Ghosting in the late 1970's going along George Street Sydney and I'm sure many people did it well before me. When they did it I guess they were the first on TV.
i live in australia and our radio is the best you can get!
World class ghost there. Extra points for the spin move
The last girl giving him, a stranger, a high five so casually is just soo awesome! :)
Such a lovely culture! (Or a girl)
(Here in Russia if you give a high five to a stranger you probably won't be understood or people would just punch you from misunderstanding about what friendliness is lol!)
That was actually awesome.
Can you imagine being Hamish's mother? Well done for surviving Mum! Raising Hamish must have been the equivalent of raising quintuplets. Maybe Mum is as quirky as Hamish. Anyway, thanks for raising this Aussie legend!
So good
scroll back up, nothing to see below
I remember ghosting, 10 years ago in grade 3
You think you’re being hilarious. Had the sarcastic tone in your head and everything, except that they mention that the game was immature and probably designed by grade 3 kids.
My best mate used to play in a band with Andy called Zoophyte. He’s a fucken dude
2021 gang!
the people in the pub would have been like wtf
So, where has this episode been hiding? I thought I'd seen every snippet of Graham Norton on YT.... and then this I see has been here for 10 years?! I've missed these two "ghosting".
Awesome, 2 of the things I search you-tube for together!! YAY, One thing missing but......Rebel Wilson!! I want to see Hamish and Rebel together in something, plz ptb make it happen!!!
Hahaha it's good to see that Britain get their humour, a few friends i have from Canada love them also, so hopefully America get their humour so their show doesn't fail.
yay this makes me proud
Bravo Hamish and Andy. Good fun boys
Hamish Blake or the Aussie Jack Whitehall
I love Hamish and Andy :)
They must have done it when euro gap year was happening
The original and the best of ghosting
LOVE THEM
Same with New Zealanders, making fun of eachother is basically the main point of comedy here
Hamish and Andy are such dags haha
Funny how ghosting means the opposite nowadays. it means to disappear suddenly on someone not suddenly show up behind someone
A friend and I used to do this in the '80s but didn't have a name for it...so I give credit to Hamish and Andy for naming it.
Should I get royalties for it?
I ♥ them!
sorry i just meant im from amercia and i love your humour It fits my sense of humour much better
Awesome. You should visit our great country sometime. Friendly easy going people are always welcome
Ha i love the people at that stand or whatever it was knew what was happening and laughing at it
Haha 😂 I love this !
Ghosting champion 2020: The Rona
Yeah, I wonder how the IGF (International Ghosting Federation) is faring at present...?!
I hope they do fine in US! Unfortunately america has a very different sense of humour than the UK and Australia, even Canada. You can see that with things like than god your here and the comedians in the comedy festival. Was so glad to see them on Graham Norton!
hamish is a CUTIE :D
proud to be australian.
These guys r great
Pro Ghosting, When you ghost the Ghost !
hamish and andy were on graham norton? omg WHY did i not know of this?!
Yikes as seeing them here in 2021 looking like literal children 11 years ago is crazy
They did there uk tour trip and it sparked some interest...
I don't get how Hamish and Andy were on Graham Norton. Isn't his show kind of popular in the UK, and it makes no sense for them to be there since Hamish and Andy are basically virtually unknown outside of Australia?
Kind of. Basically.
2018 and they still are so funny
I.G.F (International Ghosting Federation)
I remember ghosting people in primary school 😂
lol i soooooooo should do this!!!
makes me proud to be an aussie
Love when he goes for the cyclist, so funny!
How did I not know that this happened?
People! Stress less!
They are so funny you should be proud
I love how everyone thinks ...oooohhh he's gunna get the shit beatin outta him ..but people are more open than you realise ..... people like fun ..we forget that .
Im aussie and Andy is bangin
U gotta love’em!
5:18 Does Hamish pant "I'm Fucked" haha
nice come back
I've spoken to him in person, he is quite tall
Perfect for mugging.
Glorious. 😎😂
I see positives and negatives, but I believe the positives FAR outweigh the negative and I also believe that racism is no different here than anywhere else in the world. Maybe because we also have freedom of speech and religion it's far more obvious and not living in the shadows like other parts of the world. But how are you effected by racism here? Does it cost you a job? Are you attacked on the street? Or is it simply words from strangers that only have the power you apply to them?
The difference is im a teen not a full grown man.Im still learning, he on other hand should have known this 20 years ago.So no it's really ironic at all.
Yes, I realise that this is a generalisation, but these are my personal experiences. Maybe yours are different.
Whenever I travel to Continental Europe, I am amazed at how cold serious and humourless so many locals are....especially the females. In Australia, you can joke with girls and be cheeky. Not as much in places like France Germany and Holland etc. Those girls ONLY want to be told how beautiful and perfect they are.
Aussies are different. They make fun of themselves, unlike others.
The fellow on the left looked rather unimpressed
shhhhhhhhhhhhh this has nothing to do with you and the convo stopped a while back
Where’s the whole episode?
i dont know, would you rather not?? you're asking that question
What a couple of Wallys
