I'm not surprised of this news. Covid pandemic revealed how Singapore, a wealthy nation treated their foreign workforce, but nobody wanted to talk about their human rights violations😢
Well done mate. I have my utmost respect for you. You are surely a unicorn in Singapore, because unfortunately almost 90% Singaporeans I've met there are self centered and pretentious. I wish you get more help in time.
Im half way through this video and i felt real sad for these kind of incidents . Just look at this bespectacled worker can see how pitiful he is and that innocent look of his . How can his boss be so cruel to worker like him ??? Real thanks to see at least he got helped and hardearn money claimed back. Those kind of bosses should be seriously dealt with
This TWC2 vastly exaggerates the situation in Singapore and what it does. That is not unexpected, because when you check their background, they are mostly activists with a political agenda. Among most countries with migrant workers, Singapore has done much to regulate how they are treated, housed, protected, etc, and has a dedicated organisation on the ground engaging the workers, the employers and support agencies. TWC2 thinks too highly of itself. Mainstream Singapore ignores them.
You know what. Honestly if they exaggerate about it then make the problem better where the exaggerations become a grasp of straws. You can't please everyone but you can make everyone feel better by making their situation not shit.
It's sad that the gov doesn't do more. These construction companies and middle men are basically treating them like slaves. Terrible living conditions (that no one can report on or see), horrible food/nutrition, awful safety protocols etc. Sinkies don't seem to care enough to have any respect for the people who do all the dirty work in this country. It's extremely sad that in a place like Singapore, you can be wealthy but you can't buy empathy.

No doubt you have no political loyalties yourself and you are not a spokesperson for the government of Singapore!
Sheeple alert. Yet another indoctrinated sinkie who just blindly follows.

Singapore citizens are not well treated too . Who is representing and fighting for the cause of the Singapore citizens? 😂
