I live in Michigan and my front yard is full of Spurge weeds. It is now fall and it looks like they are dying, can i use the Barricade Preemergence now so they cannot come back in spring or summer?
Yes, it will kill your vegetables which are also dicots. It kills monocots too except for warm weather grasses (examples of those were given in the video) …… good luck.
I can't believe my mum gave me spurge to eat raw when I couldn't eat for three days and when my sister had severe stomach pain. And I ended up eating very well and my sister's stomach pain subsided. I can't believe I ate poison.
okay wait a minute I BOUGHT Spurge "plants" and they're doing great. I didn't know the low spurge "weeds" were even related. Do the big plants seed the weeds? AKA- should I get rid of the weeds AND plants?
I can't order it; your site doesn't recognize New Mexico or our zipcode. I call the number and just a repeat recording with no significant solution to contact you. I'll find it on another site. thank you.
FYI: According to the product label for Farenheight: (1) Do not apply to turfgrass under stress due to high temperatures (above 85°F), lack of moisture, poor fertility, diseases, or insects. In other words, it should be applied to a healthy lawn. (2) Do not plant ornamentals such as shrubs and trees in treated areas for at least 1 year or bedding plants for at least 2 years after the last application.
I never understood why people are so ocd about turf. You can't eat it. Less turf , more fruits ,vegetables, wild edible plants, and flowers that natural pollinators enjoy. Yank the spurge out if it bothers you . Just lay off the chemicals.
What a nicely done article. Thank you. This was very helpful.
Thank you! Spurge is the worst lawn destroyer!
id say crabgrass
Yes! Crabgrass! Hairy crabgrass can take over quickly.
Thank you for the video, purchasing from your website.

yes
Will the treatment affect a vegetable garden?

No
Not all spurges are a weed. This isn't a great video.

0:08 what on earth - that is milkweed. 🤦🏼♀️
I'm confused. Why would I want to get rid of native plants?
Do you? If not, you're good to go, no action to be taken. Hope that clears up the confusion.
You might want to though if it is ruining your lawn 😉
Work on Euphorbia weed?
I was very happy with this hardy good looking ground cover plant, it is the only thing growing on my lawn. But it turns out it’s a toxic weed… damn.

The problem is you can’t just yank the spurge out, it’s too prolific of a germinator and grower.
@@WestsidePatriot i burn it and it stiil comes back on the rocks
It gives a rash and can hurt pets
Well stated. Stop with the chemicals already.
There are very good reasons someone may not want this in their lawn or pasture. Plz respect that.
A healthy lawn produces enough oxygen for a family of four for one year.
yay runoff!
