- In this video, my son and I rehang a door off track, reset the cable, and service the garage door for the customer.
There are several ways of doing this repair, but this is one of the faster and more efficient ways.

I appreciate the commentary but with all the stuff in the way, poor camera angle, & bad lighting, we can't hardly see half of what you are doing. However you do know your trade.

No way you can access from inside. Shots of the dirty overhang of the house don't help me. Otherwise looked like the perfect video for my current dilemma with my door. I have no idea what you are doing with that cable snd that's what I need to SEE not hear about.
Can't imagine a homeowner would call a repairman to fix their door and not move the crap in the way.

thank you for the video. Was it the top of the door to the middle of that vertical bracket that you were measuring? You referenced the the bolt position also 5'oclock, i'm just trying to put that part of the video together. Thanks again!

As a beginner that knows nothing and never had a garage, I’m watching the part where you said I’m “mustaching the door”. But with the stuff in the way and bad camera lighting and angle. I don’t see exactly what your measuring and where your measuring.
Hey Nehemiah, these videos aren’t tutorials, only meant to show the what it’s like on the job. But we will keep in mind to try to get better camera angles. You can’t always tell when you’re filming because it’s on a chest mount, sorry about that!
My bottom roller on the left facing the garage door is very tight and not able to mot. Due to this problem, I am not able to operate the garage door. How to loosen it?
Was the tension off the spring? How fid u teset the cable with the spring wound?

This is the best video I’ve watched, even though the camera IS bad, the content is extremely helpful pertaining to this problem with the garage door.
I unwounded one side of my garage door while replacing the rollers. This is exactly what happened with one side sagging and the wheel popped out on the other. Followed the instruction from this video and I was able to fix the issue. I thought I was going to have to pay for someone to come fix my door. Thank goodness I found this video.

This isn't THE easiest job ive watched you do, with the shelving in the way, other stuff in the way, but to me it looks pretty easy. I'd like to see you do the really tough jobs also. What about rotten or severely damaged framing? What about tons more over packed garages that the homeowner hasn't been able to park the car in the garage for years? You always show the easy peasy jobs...😐
Im an old telephone man and i know there are DIFFICULT jobs out there. Not every job is easy peasy 😅

Just got it serviced, charged me $300
Cable busted on one side
Door was uneven
The side rail was bent
Have no idea how.
I just had the door halfway closed for a couple of hours, it was on manual because my door opener is broken.
I tried hammering the rail so the wheels go down but it wasnt
working.
It was an emergency this happened at 9:00pm

No you did d not get jipped. What city and State are you in. If you would of taken the course you could of easily fixed it yourself. 😄

This job should be nowhere near. 500$ fyi he’s a overpricer that’s a easy fix for a basic labor charge of like 100-150$ flat rate

that garage is a mess, those people should hire someone to arrange all that stuff.
It would be nice if there wasn’t so much stuff in the way , you really can’t tell what you’re doing for all the stuff on the shelves in the way .

I can’t stand people that have a messy garage and keep the garage as storage. The garage was made to store cars not junk.
