I recommend a silicone based lubricant. Wd40 will only works for a very short period before it’s bone dry again

Picking up the door removes tension off the cables if you were to loosen your set screws on the drum with the door fully down there will be full tension and that will be a mess

I use to pre assemble my two tracks together then put the first panel and then screw one of my track to the wall so the panels will be hold by the track and when all my panel are installed I make sure my door is level and I will take the distance between the top of the door and the shaft bearing to make sure both tracks are at the same height it is crucial if you want a door that lift level all the way up and down

Need to tell you that now I can sleep better at night after 2 years thinking how to fix my door . I did today in 2 hours thank you so much and God bless you

Great video I still haven’t given up the idea of adding this to my current business that I run now but there is that cost of actually taking your course and also having the time set aside to actually do the course. But at some point, I would like to do this and add it to my current business.

I see a lot of shaming going on for this man's work and business. It is easy to throw shade when you are not doing business yourself. This is how any business works -- if the finished job is worth the amount paid for it by the customer, then that is how much the job is worth, with a satisfied customer. This is a great video, a bit heavy on the advertising for the training program at the end, but very instructive otherwise.

No these are not easy to work on and they can have a variety of problems. 😂

$1295 for 2 torsion springs....cost $200...$900 for labour...great money!!! Buy 3 short ladders (save you a lot time from dragging it back and forth)...also get a shorter 12 point socket (you will be able to get into tight corner)...hope this help!!
