i just got mine today, i LOVE IT BUT, mine has no txt on screen is YOUR TXT from an osd? or dvr in the cam? must be? or is mine missing some feature, cause ALL that could be desired is dvr.. and why?? WHY NOT?? ill never have to bring another set of goggles out again for my girl, buddies or people walking by that take an interest.. why would u want this he says... lol by the way the screen is brighter than my DVR 7 inch screen and he gets as good or better reception with this tiny little antenna then my DVR with Spironet... i love this thing...
+Dustin Dunnill thanks thought that had to be it :) n i hope you like yours as much as i do.. im blown away buy the reception!! nice vid btw racking those hits up ;) respect
Dustin Dunnill hello...is this watch can funtion also on the flypro drone that is a watch control drone also but no fpv..i think this s a good pair of those drone if it will function also.
Well now I want the 251 more than I did before! There is a flash sale on the watch but I'm trying to figure out how to hold a transmitter and look at the watch on my arm. Maybe if I wear the watch on the palm side of my arm
Did the watch auto seek the frequency the 251 was on or was it just a fluke? That would be great for testing FPV to see if it were working without having to dig out goggles or monitor. Also makes it easier to figure what band and channel a transmitter is on.
+MarkT2320 Hey Mark. Actually the watch won't record, only view. The recording was done on the micro sd card in the camera. Your just seeing the display on the watch. Sorry for any confusion. It may have been hard to understand that part since I had to edit the video a little.
So, Dustin, where is the watch??? Does it tell the time? I would call this a "wearable monitor". Wearables is the new category, I believe. Kind of a neat device for the price😊
+Jim Zdziarski lol..now now.."watch" in the sense you wear it like a watch. This would be neat to have in the pits of a drone race where you could just be walking around and tune to differ channels watching pilots FPV without having to carry anything.
I think wearing it on the inside of your wrist, with controller in your hands would be better, and notice looking from top down, screen wise, a better view then bottom of screen up. Petty cool..........if wanting such a thing. Could put an fpv on the dog.......to keep an eye on her............LOL
I'm looking to get the Furibee Fuuton 200 or the Blade Torrent 110 with this as a FPV screen to sit on my DX6, I'll only fly in my backyard. Is the GTENG good enough to do it?
Yes, this will work well but the size is small so you may need to get pretty close to the watch. I mainly use it for troubleshooting fpv setups or watching others fly.
+W. Smith I could but it totally depends on the power of video transmitter it's receiving from. I'll do a video showing range from one of my crafts soon.
what is the Range? is it like a regular 5.8 receiver or is it like a micro transmitter with very short range? it does look very interesting especially for the price and thanks for the video
+Dustin Dunnill. it just always seemed like the built-in vrx like in say the 509G monitor wasn't as powerful and didn't have his long-range as the my Full size vrx i use for my goggles or full size monitor and neither being dual diversity
Dustin what would be a good and fun and easy app quadcopter for under 100 tx u I have a fpv and min and even best of night and inverted but I finally need a good and fun and easy android app one tx u
Dustin Dunnill thanks and did you know that in this is a pretty good receiver. Some people that use fatshark has this receiver in it. You also can mod it and ad a osd, and then it works the same as the laforge module
so if they can get the cost down to, lets say $15.00. Then when they have a FPV competition at a stadium where the viewing capabilities we know are not great for the spectator (small drone , big stadium) you could sell hundreds of em......I Would buy one
+Jeff Mcdaniel Im thinking for bystander who wants to tune in a watch racers FPV for cheap or to have when working at the bench to quickly test your FPV setup.
I can see this becoming like a game boy, after market magnified lens, to make the screen bigger. A light to see it better, and speakers to hear the engines better haha.
Lol, nobody wears watches anymore...in the ancient times, a lot of folks wore their watch on the "back" of their wrist, which is where this is meant to be worn to be able to see the screen while holding a controller.
Just bought one. I deal with GearBest quite often. Purchase just took 4 mouse clicks. They make it so easy when you are a returning customer!
+Don Fish Jr. (The Flying Fish)🍻
Nice. I found one with a DVR too. I'm going to strap it to the controler
you can wear it on internal side of your wrist...that way you can see the screen while holding the remote.
+alisher rakhimov great idea
It would be interesting to see how the watch performs in the field and thanks for the review!
+Dennis Petersen I'll be bringing it along while I do some other reviews to test

+Anthony Cenabite Farr Hey Anthony, if your video transmitter has OSD it will show up ;)
+Dustin Dunnill thanks thought that had to be it :) n i hope you like yours as much as i do.. im blown away buy the reception!! nice vid btw racking those hits up ;) respect

The screen looks cracking but holding a TX while looking at your wrist? Funky I guess it'#s good as a dvr and watching your flights still.
+MicroRCFiend Yes, better for bystanders or bench testing.
Thanks for the clarification. Probably me not paying close enough attention 😀
+MarkT2320 👍
Very nice Dustin. I just ordered one! TY!

+Cr125stin lol.... DO it! You won't be sorry. I love the X251. It's one of the only few I fly for fun.
+Dustin Dunnill sounds like a plan! Thanks
hey Dustin, congrats on 10K subs!
+Tony Saccucci Thanks man! A milestone for sure. A giveaway is in order! :)
+Dustin Dunnill definitely! :)

+Don Fish Jr. (The Flying Fish) Good questions and application Don. I'll have to power up again, test and let you know.
Pretty Cool way to record your FPV feed !

Definitely going to purchase the GTenG. But I have a question? Can I use the x251 fpv camera and monitor for the x350? Are they compatible?
I think wearing it on the inside of your wrist, with controller in your hands would be better, and notice looking from top down, screen wise, a better view then bottom of screen up.
Petty cool..........if wanting such a thing. Could put an fpv on the dog.......to keep an eye on her............LOL

is it compatible with the walkera f210 please say? yes
Qskool FPV thanks! I ordered it looks pretty damn cool
Can you do a distance test with the watch? I'd love to know it's reception range. THX
+W. Smith I could but it totally depends on the power of video transmitter it's receiving from. I'll do a video showing range from one of my crafts soon.
Great thanks. It looks like a cool device if it works at 100 meters for low end quads.
Can I use this with my DJI Mavic Pro
Unfortunately no. DJI has a proprietary FPV technology.
what is the Range? is it like a regular 5.8 receiver or is it like a micro transmitter with very short range? it does look very interesting especially for the price and thanks for the video
+Full Metal Heli it's a 32 channel 5.8ghz vrx so range is totally dependent on vtx power of the craft like any receiver.
+Dustin Dunnill. it just always seemed like the built-in vrx like in say the 509G monitor wasn't as powerful and didn't have his long-range as the my Full size vrx i use for my goggles or full size monitor and neither being dual diversity
+Full Metal Heli 10/4. I'll bring it along when and do some testing soon.
Sounds good!
do you know if it's compatible with the fatshark vtx?
+george aura it should be. It's got 32 channels.
+Dustin Dunnill well then I got to get one of those
Hey dusting I have been having yawing issues with the new mxj do you know what that could be?
Does this work in toy grade quads like the JXD 509g????
*If its 5.8Ghz FPV then yes!!!*
Can it view raceband ?
Great review, Thanks
+Glen D. Spicer You bet Glen. I think it's a cool idea.
Dustin what would be a good and fun and easy app quadcopter for under 100 tx u I have a fpv and min and even best of night and inverted but I finally need a good and fun and easy android app one tx u
+wolf11 can you clarify?... sorry I don't understand.
will this work with the tiny whoop
Elementbros 1248 it doesn't matter what the drone is, as long as the camera is supported by the watch.
A bit late but do you think this is good for indoor
+Thumbs-fpv yes
Dustin Dunnill thanks and did you know that in this is a pretty good receiver. Some people that use fatshark has this receiver in it. You also can mod it and ad a osd, and then it works the same as the laforge module
DOES THE WATCH SHOW OSD IF THE QUAD HAS IT ?
+ERIC PAGE Yes, the "HD" on top left and "numbers" on bottom right is OSD from the xk250 alien cam I'm testing it with.
Can i replace googles with this so i dont need to buy googles anymore just using this ?
Yes if you can deal with the small screen
@@DustinDunnill have you tried it ?
I want one of those
👍very interesting,thanks for sharing
+Old School R/C
+Dustin Dunnill ✌

+Fred Carr Good idea. Everyone would have their own mini FPV monitor :)
I Love your channel
Why would you want it? If you have a fpv and a monitor on your receiver, why have a small screen on your wrist?
+Jeff Mcdaniel Im thinking for bystander who wants to tune in a watch racers FPV for cheap or to have when working at the bench to quickly test your FPV setup.
I can see this becoming like a game boy, after market magnified lens, to make the screen bigger. A light to see it better, and speakers to hear the engines better haha.
*Id wear it if I was going somewhere that I'd think a freind or someone may want to watch......*
*Get it.....WATCH!!!!!*
John Watti
that's awesome

All I see is milsim potential
