    I do love how Chris makes pulling these dents and damaged areas look so simple but im sure it takes years of experience and the correct equipment. Well done Rob in finding those damaged wires. Dont see this one taking too long. Keep up the great content and I look forward to following along for part 2.

    Well done Rob finding those broken wires, why do people worry that you are repairing these cars incorrectly one thing your not is cut and stitch merchants like we had in the 60s and 70s. Hope your luck keeps going.

    Hi Rob my wife’s 10th generation had soy based insulation on the engine wiring harness they chewed the coil pack wiring an auto electrician told me to spray water mixed with peppermint oil around the engine bay the critters hate peppermint oil all the best Les👍👍👍

    Maybe a coincidence, but as a Pest Control Manager, it's interesting to note that the rats had an interest in chewing the blue wires, which is one of the regular colours that the majority of baits come in.

    So many times been in that position looking for an issue. The joy is immense when you finally find the cause. On a side note. I strongly advise a safety strap when pulling with the dozer. Great video

    LIN communication is similar to canbus but single wire… it’s used for non important things; but its master and slave… the master unit asks for info; the slave responds on the same wire. But because it’s single wire you have an issue at one module or connection, you get faults galore! Had a similar issue with a bmw m5 with water pump issues as it uses LIN for them also. Good spot! I recon it was probably the brake pedal switch that cause the ignition to not come on properly though, as you need the brake pedal to start.

    Well done Repairing the wiring down in the footwell its giving me cramp just watching it. When wiring in the future it’s well worth getting some fabric loom tape, just looks a bit tidier and doesn’t squeak

    Hi Guys just wanted to say well done for sorting the bmw out I new it would be simple it’s just finding it being an ex beater and now semi retired and a VDA it’s lovely to see a car on a jig we just don’t to it anymore plus not many people today know how to use a jig I have access to methods if you ever need any help keep up the great work Simon

    I have to say Rob, I found myself getting as excited as you with that wiring and I even punched the air when it started - well done Sir, well done!! You've actually inspired me to now get my E60 back from the garage that's ignored it for a year and fix its crank, no start fault myself (before anyone asks, I'm an electronics engineer by trade).

    Well done guys . Chris is very thorough with that rear end ensuring it's repaired to a very high standard. I looked at a new one of these in the dealer and it was retailing at £44,000. 3 series is a nice driver.

    Rats are a bugger. I live rural Scotland and they eat my washer fluid lines on my truck; they're attracted to the heat from the engine bay in the winter. I made a sheet metal box that is wheeled over the front on the truck, and slides underneath. Acting as a cage of sorts to stop them getting in the engine bay. Not perfect, but it works...for now.

    Rats and mice, love plastic wires --- its the plasticizer to make it flexible. Same in sheet plastic sheet material -- does not do them much good but they cant resist the stuff. Need to get all that carpet and seats Steam Cleaned
